DENY Designs Elizabeth St Hilaire Nelson Gouldian Finch Throw Pillow

I bought this pillow for my guest room bed. The print on the pillow is as beautiful as it is on the screen. However, the pillow is understuffed so that the head of the parrot is not visible when the pillow is on a bed or sofa. The top part of the image on the pillow is flat and facing up rather than out. You can see from the photo of the pillow that the pillow is understuffed although the parrot's head has been manipulated so that it shows. There is no zipper on the pillow so I could not easily insert a larger inner pillow. Rather than return the pillow, I opened a seam and inserted at least double the stuffing it came with. The inside of the pillow is polyester fill -not batting and not a pillow. I put in stiff batting rolled up and used the loose, fluffy fill to smooth ridges and stuff corners. After restuffing, the parrot's head is visible but it's still really too high on the pillow -like having the very top of a person's head cut off in a photo. Still, the colors are lovely.
