SET OF 2 NEW ZIPPERED QUILTED PILLOW COVERS

I ordered two of these quilted pillow covers for my favorite feather pillow when I had to toss the old cover.

My favorite feather pillows have no shape and these pillow covers work for purpose intended, but, I noticed they are not as nice as my old ones. The fabric feels like cotton/poly. No high thread count here.

I do not recommend these covers for your nicest beds, but if you have kids who like pillow fights and get creative with pillows, these covers would be a good choice for you. I think they will stand up to many machine washings.

OOPS! ZIPPER GONE AFTER ONE WASHING

I bought 3 sets (total of 6) of the zippered quilted pillow covers from Brown's Linens, Inc. for $40.89 (about half of this price was for shipping.) These items all came in the same box and yet I had to pay the FULL shipping cost for each set of 2. The seams and quilting started fraying after the first wash and one of them got "crispy" after the second wash. There were no care labels on the pillow covers, so I found out the hard way that you can't dry them on the permanent-press cycle.

I wrote a complaint letter to Brown's Linens, Inc. over a month ago before reviewing their product for Amazon.com and have not even received a reply. Don't waste your money!

I would not buy these again. After only one washing, the seams are already fraying and the material overall seems to be "thinning". This is a huge disappointment because I had searched in various retail stores for these but found none. It wasn't until I turned to the internet and a "Google" search came up with Amazon.com. These might hold up better if they were hand washed (my guess) but who hand washes their bed linens??? I do not recommend these covers.

Love them.Same thing from JCP but much more money. One of the reviews said they were scratchy, I almost hesitated not buying, but I knew I could send them back.There not scratchy to me. They fit great on all my standard pillows. I ordered 4 sets.

These pillow cases are not soft like quilt. I don't think they are actually quilt. They are a rougher, scratchier material. They are fine if putting a case over top. But, I would not recommend using them alone as they also induce sweating.
