If you are looking for a seat cushion good for sitting long periods, like at the computer, do not buy this one. It flattens out very fast. I'll be returning this.

I bought this for a female friend to use for her daily commute. This helped her tremendously since she's a petite little cookie. The foam pad, even though it did flatten a bit was able to boost an additional 1"-1.5" in height which helped her battle against harmful rays of the sun when using alongside with the visor. The foam also makes driving a little more pleasant because it is a bit more comfortable than the stock seat, it also increases her comfort level and better viewing angles because of the boosted height. Like any foam, this will flatten down a bit but not completely flat (you will still get at least 1/2")...unless you're using it on something that causes an extreme amount of stress -like on a solid wooden chair. I must admit though that this is not for everyone, especially depending on your size, built and weight. As mentioned, this product works excellent in the car since the seats are more cushioned and softer therefore you won't feel it flatten as much compared to a standard chair. If you weigh 150 pounds and under and use it as a car seat cushion then this is an excellent product.

I have bought two of these and plan to order a third. I have a skinny tush, plus do a lot of running which results in some aches and tender areas. This cushion is really comfortable for sitting.

It does have a bad chemical odor when first taken out of the package, but the smell goes away rapidly.

I live in a college standard dormitory where they give us these terrible, uncomfortable wooden chairs. This remedies that.

There's a nasty chemical smell it has when you initially get it, but it goes away after a while. There's also a strap that helps hold the pillow down.

I like my butt pillow.
