Better Sleep Pillow - BFP-001-01

I was really excited about getting this pillow. I had read the other review but was not too concerned about a man's arm not fitting in the recess thinking that surely, being not particularly big myself (5'6", 120lbs), my arm would fit.

On receiving the pillow and opening first thing I noticed is that there were two fabric softner sheets in the package. I'm going to assume that this was to mask the horrific odor emanating from the pillow. Well, they did not do their job. Even after washing the cover in the hopes that the stench would subside it was still pretty much unbearable. I figured since my apparently gigantic arm would not fit in the recess I might as well use a pillow case to hide some of the nausea inducing smell and was still pretty happy about the built in "ledge" in this pillow. I went to sleep on my side, face on the pillow, shoulder under the ledge. Woke up in the middle of the night with a terrible pain: this pillow is hard enough that apparently my head was put in this bizarre position, abnormally high. So that was the worse $98.00 ever spent. I hope someone at the dump finds a use for it.

Very nice pillow. I did not give 5 stars because the arm 'recess' is too small. I'm an average sized man. I can't sleep on my back. I had some ulnar problems and thought this might help. I think it would be good if they made a large size.
