This waterproof mattress protector is good quality. Unlike many of the more popular mattress protectors sold on Amazon, the sides of this one are also waterproof and not made of cheap, thin mesh. It doesn't make me or my husband (who is prone to night sweats) hot. We have a Tempurpedic mattress and it is slightly large for our standard depth mattress, but you can't tell when the fitted sheet is over it. It would be great for those with deeper mattresses. Also, make sure to wash AND dry it WITH other sheets or towels on LOW heat and it will last.

Would definitely recommend this product! Bought it originally for mattress in a rental property and it is so lightweight, yet no water gets through it! It is so much better than the older thick, plastic type of mattress protectors that felt like you were sleeping on ..well, plastic! This fabric is breathable and also comfortable. You would never know you were sleepiing with a mattress protector. it's also machine washable and tumbled dry!! Loved it so much bought it for my beds at home!

I had a really nice Leggett & Platt Platinum Mattress Protector on my bed that I loved, but it recently bit the dust after I threw it in the dryer on high. After doing some research on the company's website this one seemed to be the replacement, but it is not identical in quality. Although this one appears to do the job just as well (I have a 5 year old that still wears diapers to bed and likes to sleep with us), it's not as nice. Too bad as I think next time I will find another manufacturer I like better.

I bought a new S&F mattress, and the guy talked me into buying this. Turns out that it was the best idea ever, and I called him back to thank him for it.

My bed is not just for sleeping, and as such, having a water-impermeable barrier gives me all kinds of peace of mind that I'm not getting my mattress funky. Over time, I don't have to worry about sweat, spills, ink (I write with a fountain pen and have stained mattresses previously), dust, skin, or any other stuff working its way permanently into (or out of) the mattress that I simply won't be able to wash.

It doesn't make any krinkling noises, in fact I wouldn't know it was waterproof at all, but it is.

I love the soft top on this, more than my (very high quality) sheets, so from time to time I don't use a sheet and just sleep on the softness that is this awesome pad.

And it extends the life of my mattress. When I take off the mattress pad to wash it, my mattress appears new. I like that feeling quite a bit.

This solves a problem that I never knew I had, and now that's it's solved, and my mattress in 8 years will be as fresh and new as it is today, I feel even better for spending all that money on it.
