J-Life International say on their website that their buckwheat hulls are organic, not imported (so not fumigated), and are twice-cleaned. Surprising how the buckwheat actually molds to your body. Just remember: according to their website, use the neckroll by itself, not together with the larger pillow, and use it while sleeping on your back. It's actually very comfortable!
For a back sleeping, these cylindrical pillows support the neck without lifting the head out of alignment with the back. They are compact, and comfortable. I was happy to find a replacement for my old (and now quite worn) pillow. This J-Life pillow is smaller round than my old pillow, but still needed to have some buckwheat hulls removed to find the right comfort and support level.
I initially tried a more standard-shaped buckwheat pillow, which works well enough, but is heavy and cumbersome.

I used these types of pillows before but this one is very small. It should support the back of the neck while sleeping on your back. This pillow is a good quality and well made but small. It is also very expensive!item purchased the neck roll as a gift,for a friend with neck and shoulder discomfort. I already have one and found it very helpful in relieving the neck strain or discomfort cause by standard pillows. Best for back sleepers. I won't leave home without it!
