Mabis/DMI healthcare Foam Cervical Comfort Pillow, Blue

I'm a tall guy, 6'1", 170#, and have sleep apnea, wear a full face CPAP Mask. My entire life I have done what I can to support my neck and crane my head back to breath (the CPAP helps a TON, but I still need neck support). I did not like this "pillow" at all, and will not be using it. The "pillow" portion is too hard (same firmness as neck portion, and same as "neck roll" product made by same company). The pillow hurts my head in just a few minutes. If they could use a firm foam for the neck and a less firm foam for the pillow part, that would make it much better.

It is also very narrow, measuring only 16" side to side.

I would recommend insted that you get the neck roll by the same manufacturer. I have used the 3" diameter x 19" roll for about a year, sticking it in my pillowcase and under the edge of my pillow. It's not nirvana, as it tends to move around, but it is MUCH better than nothing at all, and so far the best product I have used. It has gone 1/2 flat now, so I bought this pillow and a 5" diameter neck roll. The 5" dimeter neck roll is too big, but I have used it now several days, and it is o.k.-ish, and it will eventually go "flat" too, maybe making it just right, right?

I also tried the formed contoured memory foam pillow, and it set of my athsma so bad I returned it. Memory foam outgasses so bad, I would not recommend it for anyone with alergies or sensitivities. If you NEED/LIKE Memeory foam, take the product out of the package, and let it air out for a month at least somewhere well ventilated.

I've had a cervical pillow for many years, it's quite helpful when I have a bad headache. I wanted to replace it (it's falling apart now), so I ordered this one, which looks the same. Nope! The part that goes under your neck has no "give" to it, so not only is it uncomfortable, but also holds your neck and head in a bad position making your neck curve too much. Instead of helping with a headache, this pillow would actually cause one. I sent it back immediately! I was pleased with Amazon, though, for giving me free return shipping.

I bought this pillow in the hopes that it was something that would work for my particular situation but it was not helpful at all. If anything it was very uncomfortable and I ended up giving it away. I would never buy anything similar to it again because it cannot be adjusted to the height of one's neck. The foam is also really hard. I suffered a car accident and have whiplash and this was NOT the pillow for me.

This pillow did not work for me. The neck support is way too high for me. I have a short neck. Don't order it unless you have a long neck and you like your pillow extremely firm. For me it is way too hard. Other than that seller service was good. I receive the item promptly and in new excellent conditions. I would not purchase this item again but I will order from this seller again

this pillow came and i tought...there is nothing to it!!little did i know what a major comfort it would provide for my neck and shoulders...i don't want to get out of bed anymore!lol. this product is DEFINITELY 5 stars!! i am considering getting at least 2 more for relatives with same problem i have with sore neck and shoulders. if you're contemplating whether to get this pillow,DO IT!! you WILL NOT REGRET IT!!
