For years and years I've looked for sheets that are affordable *and* last more than 13 months without wearing paper-thin in the middle or developing little L-shaped tears.

If you've never owned a pair of decent sheets, stop wasting your time at places like Target and Ikea and order these. I was flabbergasted at how thick and heavy they were, and they've held up beautifully.

I ordered the brown and the white, and the brown is slightly thicker and heavier than the white but has more of a tendency to pill -the white have stayed more "satiny". Slipping into them after a long summer day is heaven.

I'm not an expensive-linens connoisseur, but you don't have to be to enjoy these, they're reasonably priced and very good quality.

I was shocked at how hard and scratchy these pillow cases were. They do not feel like egyption cotton but more like a hard plastic table cloth. One of mine arrivwed with black marks all over it as well. They were very thick though almost like a sack so they would probably last a while. Buyers beware!

My wife and I were completely shocked at how hard these pillow cases are. Honestly, these are the hardest bedding sheets we have EVER felt, and we've felt many over many years. Coming from Amazon, and the fact that the threat count is advertised as 500, which is on the higher end of thread counts, we were expecting much softer sheets. In fact, we (and I believe others) equate a "high thread count" with "softness"...i.e., the higher the thread count, the more soft and comfortable the sheets. Even the 100 thread count sheets we've felt are more comfortable and soft than these. Additionally, these pillows wrinkled more than any others we've tried. As with many other products we've purchased on Amazon, we based this purchase from the good reviews. I'm honestly at a loss as to how there are any good reviews for these pillow cases. Needless to say, we are returning the pillow cases. I highly recommend avoiding these pillow cases and, for me, I will be avoiding this brand altogether.

I tried the pillowcases before I tried the sheets. Loved the pillowcases in Chocolate, so I ordered the sheets that come with another set of cases. That's fine since I use four pillows on the bed. The Chocolate is rich in color, and they wash well.

If I had the proper tool, I bet this product would not measure out to 500 threads per inch. High end cotton has a feel and a look out of the dryer. This pillowcase was typical for a 240 thread count product. I give it 3 stars because the price was low and the value still OK. If you expect high-end touch you will be dissapointed.
