After trying very expensive ($300) feather and down pillow combinations, I was so happy to find this goose down pillow. It doesn't have a lot of loft that I would expect in a 750 fill, but the comfort is amazing. Just like Westin Hotel pillows. You might need to layer two for side sleeping, but one is generally enough. After sleeping on it and comparing it to much more expensive pillows, I'd say it's a great value for what you get. I'll keep it brief: this is a superb pillow. A few ounces more fill than most of the competition, well constructed and comfortable beyond expectations; it is a winner. Excellent value for the price.

The Army does lousy beds and worse pillows. Once I got settled in Iraq I ordered the full meal deal for sleeping, including this pillow. It was heaven! I usually don't sleep easily or well, but the pillow was absolutely heavenly! When I ordered it I was told that it wouldn't be delivered until after Christmas, but I actually received it in less than a week which is excellent for anything that has to go through the military postal system!

When removed from the shipping box the pillow was only about 2 inches thick. On further examination I discovered a strange odor. I don't believe the seller's description of the pillow is accurate, as I compared the pillow received to a pillow from a local department store with lesser fill and specified weight. The department store pillow was way better and without the smell. The department store pillow was made in the USA and this one in China. I felt that the seller should have disclosed the origin of the pillow, as that would have affected my decision. I returned the pillow back to the seller without trying it out, as I was very concerned about the sanitary condition of the pillow due to its strange smell.

The pillow had a very bad smell. The awful smell was noticeable as soon as I opened the package. I can't believe anyone would sell a pillow that smelt this bad. I'm throwing away the pillow and never buying from them again.
