So these are the perfect bright pink color if that's what you're in the market for. Not fuschia, almost hot pink. They are the thinnest sheets I have ever purchased light passes throught them. I am not loving the quality, but they will work for my daughter's bed for now while I hunt for better quality. To my surprise, they are bubblegum scented. Yes, scented. Why anyone would feel the need to add a nasty ridiculous chemical smell is beyond me. Two washes and they still smell. I wish I had known that, I would have never bought them. And I purchased three sets. All three smell like bubblegum.

I dreaded the foam topper and did everything I could to avoid it. Unfortunately, my wife's hip pain was getting worse and we didn't have a choice. We gave this gel foam a try as an alternative and to my surprise, I actually liked it (even though I like hard beds). In fact, I don't think I've ever slept better and my wife's hip pain is completely gone. She absolutely loves it which is a good thing. When you consider the cost of a new mattress, you can't go wrong with this topper.

Regarding smell, it took about two weeks for the smell to completely dissipate. However, the smell never really bothered either one of us during that two week period (small price to pay for the comfort).

As for the heat retention that a few others have mentioned, I'm about 6' 220lbs and don't like being hot when I sleep. After having the topper for about 6 weeks, I have not noticed any issues regarding heat retention.

Another reviewer on another site mentioned that the gel foam lost its spongie properties in a short amount of time where they mostly laid. After 6 weeks of use, we have not noticed any such issue.

Like others, we bought ours at Costco at a considerably cheaper price than here on Amazon. I still buy many things on Amazon and appreciate their no-censor policy regarding where to find the cheaper price. Seller integrity = Buyer loyalty.

You body tends to conform itself into a pocketlike space and once in place, it takes more of an effort to reposition the body. Much like the softness factor described above, this could be good for some and bad for others. Those who tend to toss and turn all night and wake up their spouse in the process will like this feature, but others might find it too restricting. I have found that, rather then freely rolling from my side to my back, like I did on my regular mattress, I now have to use a little more muscle power to make the transition.

So, what is my bottom line on this Serta mattress topper? Well, for all of the reasons states above, I can see how some will love it and others will curse its name. I don't necessarily sleep any better than before but I like the way the gel beads help to disperse heat and my wife says it does help her sleep better. It adds up to an average product overall that will likely invoke strong reactions from all who use it.

I was doubtful at first that this product, tho costly, would actually work. To my surprise, it not only works, but works wonderfully! Our king size mattress (pillow top) set is only two years old but has sinking spots where we lay. This product has eliminated the dips, plus increased the comfort ofthe bed. My wife suffers from back pain every day, but the mattress topper has totally eliminated that problem. I do find it harder to "roll over" (age 63)in bed (because you tend to form fit to the topper), but I sleep much better and feel more rested then before. Did I think the product expensive: yes. Would I buy one again: DEFINITELY!! Is it worth the expense: It's priceless for us. It does add 3 inches to the bed height, so you may have a problem "climbing" into bed. but a little old fashion "foot stool" takes care of that. Well worth the cost after the first few days of adjusting to it. Other have complained of the initial smell....we had none! We just opened the box, unrolled it onto the bed, (we left the packing cover on it)fitted the top sheet and made the bed....the rest is history. We love it, love it, love it!!!! Spend the money on yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Yesterday my Serta 2.5-Inch Queen Gel-Memory Foam Mattress Topper arrived. This thing is great! I couldn't be happier with it and just wish I had bought it sooner.

I think it's the GEL that makes the difference.

I appreciated the fact that the cover that goes over the mattress topper isn't at all difficult to put on. I didn't have to struggle with it at all! It easily went over the mattress topper and the regular mattress underneath.

I got the mattress topper out of the box, placed it on the bed, etc. By the time I got in bed last night I had almost forgotten that anything was new or different. A few minutes later I realized I wasn't tossing and turning the way I normally do. I just felt more 'comfortable' than usual. There was a 'cool' feel to it. I'm not really sure how or why, but it felt cooler than my old mattress topper, which is memory foam, but not the Gel-Memory Foam. I slept great! It felt as if I were just sinking into a cloud. Very nice!

That's the subjective part of it. Now down to the specifics.I had read reports from other reviewers that their mattress topper had an odor when it arrived. Mine had no odor. I put my nose right next to it and sniffed. I could smell no odor at all. It may depend on the weather or other variables.

As usual, I read the instructions AFTER I was finished. Not smart. Fortunately, I was very, very careful as I cut the packaging.

It comes in a vacuum-sealed bag, which you open very carefully with a pair of scissors, being VERY cautious not to cut the foam. There is a protective fabric liner on the mattress topper. That also helped keep me from cutting the foam, which you certainly do not want to do. That part was easy!

The mattress topper weighs about 33 lbs, but wasn't very hard to toss onto my bed. I let it "air out" and expand for a few hours before I put the cover on it. Mine had no crimping. It lay flat with no problem. The cover was easy to stretch over the mattress topper and the mattress below. I was able to put my fitted sheet over it with no more problem than usual. That went easier than I had anticipated.

The instructions say that "You may notice an odor when the package is opened. This is completely harmless and normal for 'fresh foam' and will gradually dissipate within a few days." Mine had no detectable odor at all, and I'm fairly sensitive to odors.

The instructions say "You might notice loose gel beads. These micro gel beads are infused into the Gel Memory Foam, and occasionally fall out." Mine did not fall out. I didn't notice any loose gel beads.

The instructions say, "It may take up to 72 hours for the topper to fully expand and recover to its original shape. It is fine to sleep on your mattress topper during the recovery process as your body heat will actually promote recovery." Mine expanded almost instantly and was fine.

The instructions talk about "Do not put anything on top of your mattress topper or on the corners to force it to lay flat. The edges of the mattress topper may appear crimped. This is normal and the edges will regain their natural form during the recovery process." Mine didn't have that problem. There was no crimping. Everything lay flat immediately.

It says that "Most customers feel comfortable on the first night...Others may take a few weeks..." I was MORE than comfortable on the first night.

I love it!

A week after getting it, I couldn't be happier with my mattress topper. I am definitely sleeping better because of it. If I had to put a number to it, I would say that I am sleeping 30% better. I ordered and just got the Gel-Infused Memory Foam Pillows. I thought if the mattress topper is that good, the pillows have to be too. They are taking a little more time to get used to, but the instructions say that it can take 24-48 hours for a pillow to renew itself. I'll write a review on the pillows, but I'm going to give them a little more time to get used to them.

UPDATE about 8 months later: The mattress topper is wonderful! I never did get used to the pillows.

The chair is nice looking and could be comfortable but it has a few major issues. First, the "arm rests" are so low that your arms don't actually touch them. For tall people like me it is an awkward chair to sit in. You have to just rest your arms in your lap because you feel like you are in a kid's chair. The second major issue is that when you want to return the chair to the upright position, you have to use your legs to push the leg rests back down into the chair. This is fine for me but my wife and her older parents (who we purchased these for to sit in when they visit) are unable to push it back in. This leaves them stuck in the chair until I can come over and push the chair leg rests back in for them. I like the look of these chairs and the price is right but unless you are purchasing these for smaller and youthful people, try looking at something else with a handle for the recliner and better proportions.

I received these sheets and loved how soft they were. However, I noticed there were some weird discolorations spots on random parts of the sheets (almost like a grease spot) and pillow cases. I contacted the seller and they replied back within a few hours with an apology and a tracking number for my new sheets. I had the replacement sheets within only a few days. I also didn't have to hassle with returning anything. I am in love with these sheets and its nice to know that in the event something does go wrong it will be made right. Highly, Highly recommend!

This is an update on a previous review I had written, in which I strongly encouraged people to buy these sheets. I am so embarrassed at my endorsement! And I hope that no one bought them on my advice.

While these sheets come out of the package looking and feeling fabulous, after less than ONE MONTH they are so beaded and pilled that it is like sleeping on sand. I think I've bought sheets from the clearance aisle before and have never had this problem. I am really irritated, I could have just bought better sheets in the first place and saved myself the hassle and money of trying these. I guess maybe if they were for a guest bedroom that wasn't used very often they would be alright, but be aware that they lose quality quickly.

PLEASE save yourself the headache and don't buy these sheets!

The sheets are of synthetic material, for which I think the price is too high. I really think that amazon needs to remove the word "Egyptian" from the description, it makes one think of cotton too easily. I feel a little stupid not to have read the exact fine print and was expecting cotton. Should have known better!

I purchased this bedding because its the only coral colored bedding out there that I could find. I went to multiple stores and looked online for several weeks before making what I thought was my final decision. I ordered the item and received it in a some-what timely manner, it was a few days later than expected. Upon opening the package, I noticed that it was definitely the right colors but a horrible horrible quality. I could have torn it apart by simply tugging on the seams, which were already torn on the tiny throw pillows to the point where the stuffing was coming out. Not only was it sewn very poorly, the material was so thin it felt as though it would be rags after one wash and would never have kept me warm. I was completely dissappointed in the product AND the only review available to me at the time of purchase which led on that this was a quality peice. Makes me wonder if the seller added the first and only review itself to mislead customers into falling for their product. It should have been made to last years for the ridiculous price of $175.00. I have found better and more quality bedding at Walmart. The disaster does not end here. In attempting to return the product, I realized that I must pay my own shipping. Because of the awkward shape and weight of the box, I paid $59.99 to ship the junk back to the seller. Not only am I back to my start point in searching for bedding, I am out sixty dollars for nothing. If nothing else, I learned my lessondo not purchase anything on Amazon that cannot be shipped directly from Amazon. If it is an outside seller, it means that Amazon has not agreed to approve their product or will not endorse it enough to offer Amazon's free return policy. I should have known. Never again.

My husband and I have a hard time agreeing on bedding for our room, so finding something we both liked was a challenge. When we finally found this comforter set, my parents ordered it for us as a gift. We received it, and although we do really like the colors and the pattern, the quality of the set is incredibly poor. Every accent stitch on the comforter had thread falling out. We took pictures and requested a return, and the vendor assured me that if we just replaced the comforter, the next one would not be poor quality. Well, they were wrong I think the second one we got was worse quality than the first. Because we liked the comforter color scheme so much, and we have such a hard time agreeing, we decided to keep it, clip off the threads, and just be sure to keep an eye on it. Unlike the previous reviewer though, when we requested a return, we did not have to pay return shipping. The vendor didn't even want the item back. So at least we weren't out that cost as well.
