I obviously didn't read the small print, it is actually only the cushion cover sold (buy your own cushion to fit), it ships from India and took about 4 weeks to get to me, but it is definitely worth the wait. The beading edge is very well sewn and the velvet is thick. The photo doesn't really show the colour that well, it is more mint turquoise but it is stunning!

They filled pillow too much making it hard. It hurt my neck first night. I am wearing a neck brace now. It would be great if the pillow had screw in plugs to take out filling and adjust softness.I don't think you can return pillows so I am going to cut it to let filling out. It will probably be a huge mess.

This is way too small and way too soft to sleep on. However, the beads does offer great support if you are a back sleeper and seldom move. One roll and you are off the pillow.

Z by Malouf GELLED MICROFIBER Gel Fiber Filled Pillow

I received ty 'Z by Malouf Gel Microfiber' pillow this morning. Opening the box, I found the pillow enclosed in Malouf's excellent clear/black carrying case. Quite a presentation for an inexpensive pillow. However, when I pulled out the pillow, nothing about it screamed "cheap pillow!". First, the pillow does not have an optional cover so you are feeling the actual pillow upholstry (for lack of a better word at this moment). It had to be the softest, smoothest material I've felt not like satin, more like silk. I didn't want to stop running my hands over it. The feel of the gelled microfiber was like sinking into a cloud. It felt like no other synthetic down I've experienced before (and I've gone through a lot of the major ones!). I couldn't wait so I laid down on it and I thought it was truly the closest to a down pillow I've ever experienced with a synthetic. After further inspection, I was very impressed with the construction. Besides the material, the seams were well done, some of the best I've seen on a pillow and better than on some more expensive pillows I've had in the past. Overall, I'd say "Z by Malouf" are far above the average pillow and with prices you don't have to sell your first born to afford!

With that said, I do have some personal observations which may be useful to others but for which I did not score down the pillow:

1) This is a SOFT pillow, no way around it. I'm a side sleeper so this is not going to be a primary pillow but it works very nice to cuddle with or to sleep on my stomach or back with. I did put it into a standard pillow cover which, due to the length, made it thicken a little.

2) Note to the manufacturer: How about making your pillows in standard widths. The length corresponded to a queen size pillow but the 16" width is 4" less than a standard/queen pillow's 20-inch width. This really does create problems if you like your pillow enclosures/pillow cases to fit nicely. Again, the size is great for cuddling and wasn't really that bad for sleeping on but I have a lot of loose pillow case on each side of the pillow. Just a suggestion. This is, to me, what keeps this from being THE Perfect pillow.

3) The microfiber gel pillow is wonderful! Can it be produced in medium and firm? Does the type of microfiber allow for medium/firm/extra firm pillows?

Overall, if you like a soft pillow, this one is heaven for the price of a Happy Meal!

I've had this pillow for over a month now. Still the same size and shape as the day I got it. There was never a weird smell or anything when I opened the package. It was everything that I expected and more. It provides great support for back and side sleeping, but too big for stomach sleepers. I've used a contoured pillow for years, thinking it was better for my neck and back. But this pillow, after the first night, made my back and neck feel great.

I love how feather pillows move, how when you scrunch them up they hold a little shape and then fluff back up when you want them to. What I hate are the feathers that poke and shed. This pillow seems to be the best of both. The fill moves it almost seems like the fibers in the pillow slide against each other, then they keep some of that shape (more like feathers that memory foam or other synthetic fills), but they also bounce back. The only other pillows that I have found to be as comfortable were purchased for about $65 a piece. The Microfiber cover is very soft and I find myself working off the pillow case a bit during the night because it is so soft that I want it against my skin. I always buy my pillow cases with softness as they key feature so the fact that the cover on the cover is softer than my pillow cases.... The cover also feels sturdy. Often I have found fabric that is called micro fiber to be very thin and the cover does not feel thin. These are the kind of pillows that could make you a pillow snob.

If you don't want a pillow that is too firm or too smushy I think you will be happy sleeping on these.

As others have mentioned, these pillows are unusually skinny. They are a king length, and also are nice and plump, but they are very narrow. So narrow, I can't seem to find a pillow case that's actually made to fit this size.

It's more of a long, skinny, almost a specialty type pillow, than one you would use for everyday (night) use. The pillow itself is super plump and very comfortable, just oddly shaped, which makes it hard to find the best way to use it. I just wish it was full sized, 'cause if it was it would be the perfect pillow!

Pure Comfort Full Size Flock Raised Air Mattress

I was in desperate need of a new mattress, but didn't want a conventional one because of all the flame retardant chemicals they contain. The organic mattresses are very expensive and ordering via the internet is risky, not knowing if the comfort will be just right and then not being able to get a refund. On a whim, in a moment of exhaustion, I purchased this air mattress, not really expecting it to be that great. It took a little tweeking -you can adjust the firmness with the amount of air. It does not leak at all and I've have it almost a month now. I'm not thrilled about sleeping on vinyl, but I add layers of blankets & mattress pads to the top of the bed, under the sheets. This makes it feel more like a 'real' bed. I'm used to this now and find it quite comfortable, and no back ache in the morning. Still may get an organic mattress, but the urgency is off now.

So, we bought a fixer-upper and want to be there weekends to do most of the work ourselves. Not wanting to buy separate furniture or move our 'real' furniture yet. Brought up some comfortable lawn furniture for the living room and bought two of these, thinking they'll still be nice for visitors (mostly grandchildren) after we're done using them in this phase. They have been inflated constantly since mid-October, about three months now, with both people and dogs sleeping on them, and working fine. We feel a need to top off the air about every other weekend, which isn't bad for this price range, plus it isn't hard to get to the plug and it goes really fast, maybe 15 seconds to top it off and less than 5 minutes, more like 2 or 3 it seems, to fill from scratch. Comfortable as any spring mattress set. Standard sheets fit well. Had a small leak in one last week (probably due to the dogs playing on it), patched it with the enclosed kit, and it's 100% again. No regrets. Would buy again and recommend to others.

I had family members planning to visit and wanted to stay over the weekend with me and needed an extra bed to accommodate them. Due to limited space I could only use a full size air bed, which for some reason, a raised full size air bed is difficult too find, most are queen or full sizes. when I found this one I was a little worried because the price was so low compared to others I found but decided to take a chance. The product arrived on time, I took the bed out the box, attached the electric pump which came with the bed, and immediately inflated it without any problems, everything worked fine. Because it is a raised bed, it actually inflated to the same height as my standard full size bed with box springs. The fact that the top in covered with the felt covering eliminated that unpleasant plastic feel. The raised corners around the top of the mattress worked great for both keeping the sheets in place but also keeping one from unknowingly rolling off the side of the bed. The bed inflated very quickly, although I would have preferred the electric pump be built in since it required one to hold the pump place during inflating and deflating which can get a little tiring after a while. Also the pump is a little loud when it is operating, you wouldn't want to be operating it while anyone is sleeping. Once the bed was inflated, not only was it very comfortable to sleep on, I had no problem keeping the bed firmly inflated. When I needed to deflate the bed, I had to use the pump to ensure all the air was removed, which again required me to hold the electric pump against the inflate/deflate opening on the bed until all the air was expelled, in order to flatting it out enough to repacked in the original box. All in all I am very please with this bed, can't beat the price, I would purchase it again if needed and would recommend this product to others.

Pillows started to come apart 2 weeks after using -cheaply made and overpriced. Have purchased much better products at the big discount stores--don't waste your money. Horrible customer service-would not take set back because tags had been removed. Had I known that the set would begin to fall apart within 2 weeks, then I would not have removed the tags! Their company told me to take up my issue with the manufacturer who, in turn, said there was nothing they could do to help me and told me to recontact the seller! The seller never acknowledged my email back to them!! Will NEVER buy from this Amazon seller again.

I wanted upscale, tropical themed linens for my condo and these are perfect. The only complaint I have is these thing all snag really easily and there's no way to fix that. We LOVE the Penguins in our house and I was excited to see this set online. But I was sadly disappointed when we got it. The material is pretty rough and feels cheap. And the comforter is rough on one side and has a cheap 'sleeping bag' material feel on the other side. Instead I purchased a Tangled Toddler Bedding and I was much more pleased with the material on it. Very sad to say that the Penguins didn't work out for our house.

I got the neck pillow for long car trips and flights. I have always had neck problems due to poor posture. I thought the neck pillow would help me on long car trips and flights to support my neck. I often fall asleep with my neck and head in some odd position and wake up with neck pains & headaches. The problem I had with this type of neck pillow is that my neck is right at the level of the head-rest and back-rest of the car seat or airline seat. So my the neck pillow kicks out my neck-head-upper shoulders in an awkward position, and it makes the neck pillow support useless because it puts me in an uncomfortable position. I am 5'6". If you are taller or shorter, it might work perfectly. My torso seems to be the exact length where the neck pillow places my head and neck in an uncomfortable position.

This creaky old neck likes his Design Go The Sleeper Soft & Cosy Neck Pillow (Black). Ya know somethin'? It is soft and cosy. I never really thought about it before, I have a couple more neck pillows picked up on trips by other people and given to me, and none of them is nearly as soft and cosy as this one.

I ordered this item to have relief of neck pain/fatigue in the evening while watching dvd.s. I have found it very soothing and it gives just enough support to be theraputic for my cervical spine [arthritic].

Sleep Better Iso-Cool Memory Foam Pillow

I suffer from two herniated cervical disks and it is very difficult for me to find a pillow that is just right, not too soft, not too firm, not too low, not too high... Over the years I have tried many, many memory foam pillows, amongst them the Dream Coil pillow, the Tempurpedic, Therapedic, you name it.

All worked somewhat but it seems that the main problem with most memory foam pillows is that they are too firm at first (especially in the winter when it is cold in the bedroom), then mold perfectly to a person's individual anatomy until the material gets too warm from the person's body heat and finally it does not provide perfect support anymore because it gets too soft and allows the head to sink in too far.

Because I was at the point yet again where I was changing out my various memory foam pillows several times a night in order to get comfortable, I was looking for just another pillow to try. Which in this case was the Iso-Cool pillow (the contoured model).

What a find! This is a truly different pillow. For me who sleeps mainly on her side and sometimes awakes on her back, it strikes the perfect balance between support and softness. I simply love it. It does not feel too firm in the beginning, just supportive, and it does not end up being too soft during the night, it simply remains exactly the same. That it doesn't overheat is another perfect feature but I admit I did not buy this pillow primarily for that although it is advertised as a "stays-cool-pillow".

I am very impressed with this pillow and can highly, highly recommend it to anyone suffering from the same condition as I am.

Of course I know from experience that these pillows come on the market and also disappear from it quickly, so I've already bought a second one and will get a few more. Just in case it will wear out one day. Because I want to avoid having to hunt down the overstocks all over the web as I had to do with the Dream Coil pillow a few years back...

UPDATE: I just received my additional Iso-Cool contour pillows. Contrary to the one I had recently bought at JC Penny's, these Amazon-sold ones come without the retail box and a thinner, considerably more basic pillow cover. The pillow cover from Penny's is the nicer one. The one I received from Amazon does not have blue or for that matter any piping, no stitched Iso-Cool logo, quite a bit thinner fabric.

But otherwise they seem to be made of the same material and have the same 15-yr. warranty. Just thought I'd mention that these differ a bit from other Iso-Cool pillows available out there...

UPDATE II:

In September 09 someone commented on my review here saying that Amazon now ships the pillow with the Iso-Cool cover as pictured. That's great it's a much nicer cover than what I got from Amazon when I first posted this review.

Initially this pillow was wonderful...probably the best one I'd ever slept on. However, after only 6 months the pillow has completely lost it's support and I wake up with a sore neck everyday. The memory foam just sinks in without any rebound and it is awful.

UPDATE: With some difficulty I found the manufacturer (.) and found out these pillows have a 15-year warranty. I returned my pillow to them and they sent me a brand new one. This one already feels different (better) from the first one. The outlast cover works very well to disperse heat.

I cannot stand warm pillow in the middle of the night. I have been searching for the last 10+ years. I even bought a pillow last year, mail ordered from Japan which they claim they have this "so called" heat transfer gel on the pillow, which cost me $120 and doesn't do ANYTHING. (lesson...)

So, I came across this Iso-Cool pillow on Amazon, I got the Contour version... I was VERY skeptical in the beginning... but once I sleep on it for the first night, I totally LOVE it.

1. It KEEP MY HEAD COOL, still warms up where the head contacts, but it DOES NOT warms up to a degree that annoys me (unlike one of the "original" memory form pillow which sold for $99+)

2. IT DOES NOT SINK. Again, unlike one of those "original" memory form pillow, this one give VERY GOOD support, and it does not make my head "sink" into the pillow.

3. I bought that kind of "water filling" pillow insert twice, and both of the time it leak after a year use. YES, it can keep my head cool, but still, the WHOLE insert will warm up after like 5-6 hours. This Iso-Cool does not keep on warming up during long hour of sleep, seems like it will stop warming up, up to certain temperature. THE BEST PART, IT WON'T LEAK.... (it is just a big block of form)

It DOES smell a little bit, like some new car/chemical smell to me when I first opened it from the package, but the smell dies down quick. Like the comment from the other user said, if the smell annoys you, I recommend to let it sit in open air for maybe a few days before you use it. For me, I just used right from the packaging.

BUT, even it sounds so amazing, but PLEASE, if possible, like myself, get one and try it out from a local store first, since NO ONE has the same preferences.

To me, this IS the pillow I was looking for, finally!

Based upon the previous reviews I decided to purchase the ISO-Cool Side Sleeper Memory Foam Pillow, hoping not to be disappointed. While my review is only based upon the initial receipt and one day of use I am impressed with the purchase.

This is a full size pillow, fills a standard pillowcase quite well, and it weighs 5.5 pounds (with pillowcase on). This is nearly double the weight and thickness of most department store memory foam pillows, and yes I did weigh them.

A quick heads-up on the "Cooling" effect, the pillow cover has additional material on one side which provides the cooler feeling, the flip side does not and tends to warm with absorbed body heat.

Overall a worthy purchase for the price.

I bought the pillow because I have problems with my body temp and this doesn't help with getting a good night's sleep.

First, I am enjoying the pillow. It is at just the right height for my neck, the firmness is very comfortable. So I am still using this pillow, it has replaced a regular (sort of) pillow and a feather pillow that I was using to try and get the right height and right firmness. So I am finding myself very pleased with it.

If it were just for the comfort level without the 'cool' property I would easily give 4 if not 5 stars.

But...

I bought it for it's ability to wick heat away from the head. I can't say that it works that well for me. Certainly, when I lay down it is nice and cool, just like any pillow. But I can't say that I find it to take any longer then usual to warm up. Oh I'll admit that it might, might be lasting a little longer, but not enough to be noticed.

comfortable to sleep on (pillowtop is nice addition, though it's an inflatable part, I expected it to be some kind of thick and soft material).

leaks a bit (looses half of the air in less than a week).

not sure if build-in pump is great or not, I don't like wires attached to the mattress, on the other hand like that I don't need to connect/disconnect a pump, this way you never loose it.

This airbed looks exactly as pictured. I've used in for several weeks and it doesn't lose any air. After adding a small mattress topper its quite comfortable. I'm deducting one star for the strong chemical smell the air bed came with. The smell was very unpleasant but it fully dissipated after several days.

Shabby and Elegant Pink Gingham Ruffle Pillowcase

I absolutely LOVE the top pillow featured in the picture. I also really like the ruffles, but I wasn't aware that the pink ruffle pillowcase is white and pink CHECKERED, not just plain pink. The bottom of the blue one is also pink checkered. I've grown to like it, but didn't know it wasn't just plain.
