This is a nice bedspread set for the price. The fabric is shiny which I know some people consider "cheap", so if you want a more matte spread, this might not be the set for you. I personally love that the embroidery and the bedspread itself has a metallic sheen. The embroidery looks very nice and is of a good quality. There are some threads left from the sewing of the item, but none from snags or product imperfections. I would not consider the fabric scratchy, but it is not ultra soft like a suede or a flannel.

I received this item this morning i was anxiously awaiting its arrival so i could use it with my new down comforter . When i opened the package i was a little bummed because the color was lighter than what it appeared in the posted picture and it would not have matched the look i was going for, but i must say i did open the top to feel the material and it was awesome. i just wish it was a shade darker !! so im going to return it for the same prodcut but in the color 'Taupe'. All in all its good product just a tad lighter in color than it appears in the posted picture.

Love these sheets! Soft, silky. Great color. However, the manufacturer does not have this same type in white. Keep in mind these are more towards the queen size, they shouldn't put full size misleading.

Was skepticle when I opened the package because the ivory color looked like gold; however, once I opened it up and placed it on the bed, it ended up being an antique ivory color and looks very nice. The quality of the fabric is very good. My only complaint and the reason I did not give this product 5 stars is that the stitching is crooked in places and once washed and dried, it must be ironed..unless you don't mind a lot of wrinkles.

We've been sleeping on this topper for almost 2 weeks now. First time we tried, we liked it. It was so comfortable and felt really nice as we are lying on a cloud. However, as days go by, the real quality of this topper began to show. As previous reviewer indicated, topper sang around heavy weight area (hip and back) causing uncomfortable and pain in the morning. We tried to rotate topper, but it didn't help.

I wish I could return this item, but Brookstone doesn't accept the return for this item, which is in my opinion not a good business practice. I feel like I'm ripped off. I don't think I will ever shop at Brookstone again until they improve the quality of the item. I'm planning to dispute the credit card charge for this unacceptable quality.

I'm not recommending this item to anyone. It looks really nice, which was the main reason that I decided to buy.

I purchased this directly from Brookstone and it made my relatively comfortable mattress feel like an old sagging mattress! Brookstone would NOT return it. I should have bought through Amazon, as they are much better with returns. Brookstone customer service was completely uncaring. They have lost my business forever.

The directions say to allow 2 days for the mattress pad to expand before using it. I have left it out for 6 days now and there are sections that have not expanded yet. I called BioSense warranty line and they are sending me a brand new mattress pad.

To all of you that have bad reviews of this product: It is apparent that you have not read the instructions and you just assumed that upon unpacking it it was immediately ready for use. If you read the instructions then your mattress pad would not be uncomfortable, you would not consider it a sink hole, and you would not be complaining that you cannot return it because the phone number for returns is right on the warranty information on the back of the same Quick Start Guide that tells you to leave it out for at least 48 hours before using it. If you did read the instructions and you still find it uncomfortable, then call the number and have it replaced rather than complaining about the quality of Brookstone's products based off of one single item. You just sound vindictive.

The phone call took me all of 5 minutes. They asked for either my order number or receipt number; when I told them that all of that was long gone, they used my zip code, date of purchase (which I gathered from my credit card statement), the last 4 digits of my credit card, and nothing more. They are sending me an address label to my e-mail address, which I am assuming will already have postage paid on it because my instructions were to box it up (in any box, not necessarily the one it came in), put the label on it, and drop it off at any UPS store. When they receive the product again, they will send me a new one. I will re-post on either the success or failure of this process.

I selected this topper even though it cost more than any others I had found. The reason was that it contains two layers the bottom foam layer and the alternate down top layer. This topper is well worth the price. It's incredibly comfortable for those looking for a soft bed. It fits perfectly on my bed and does not slide. I would highly recommend this topper if you can afford the high price.

Makes my sagging bed feel much better. This is one of the thickest toppers I found and was very soft. May not be comfortable for everyone, but worked for me. I knew it wasn't going to be returnable as it specifically states right there on the receipt, besides, what would Brookstone do w/ a used mattress topper, you couldn't resale something like that because of it being a personal item, so makes sense.

I took a risk ordering a duvet set at such a low price with no available reviews . . . but I really needed the color. When I opened the box, I was excited the color was perfect. But once the bedding was unpackaged, it was just bad. There were visible stitching holes where seams had been sewn and then pulled back out because they were in the wrong place. Very very paper thin fabric (which admittedly I did expect at this price point), but dark black thread stitched into the seams or even worse, loose pieces of dark thread that were stuck in the border on sham impossible to remove or hide.

I know you do get what you pay for. I wasn't expecting a high quality set. But I was expecting a set that met at least basic quality standards.

At this price point, I thought for sure I would keep the set. I just printed my return labels.

Just received, washed, and installed this great set. For the price it is an excellent value, and the soft-feel, and colors were just what we were looking for. This set is certainly not meant to be the center-piece of your bedroom set, but is a great supporting member of the team of shams, skirts, ruffles, and spreads that make the perfect set.

We used the cover on a white comforter purchased from JC Pennys. It is the faux down variety, very heavy, and billowy, and thick. It slid in quite easily into the cover, and is secured at the bottom by a hidden hem that contains reverse buttoning button fasteners.

Here was where we encountered our first problem. The 2 button holes on the left side were completely sewn shut. This is probably how these are manufactured. However, there is someone using a seam ripper (probably) that goes down the line and opens up the button holes. They missed 2. No reason to freak out, I had a utility knife on me and used it to gently free the stitching to allow the button to go through.

The cover was just the right size to accommodate our King size thick comforter. I could see that you may have an issue if your comforter is of a thinner design. The cover is generous, and could probably even accommodate a comforter 1.5 times thicker than ours. There was no obvious dead or flat areas after securing our duvet inside.

The shams are of the simple slip in design, and fit standard king pillows perfectly.

My overall impression is that some of the stitch work is a bit shabby, but I did NOT have any of the Dark thread some have mentioned here. For the price it is tough to be critical on some of the extremely minor stitching issues. However, I am docking 1 star for the button issue, as this may be a sign of bigger QC issues.

This duvet cover is not the same charcoal grey than the charcoal grey sheets sold by the same company (weird) and if you don't iron it, you will have a hard time finding the bottom of the cover while putting the duvet in it, but it's soft, light and beautiful.

We looked for a coverlet and shams for months and couldn't find one that was beautiful, substantial, solid, not "dainty", and devoid of obnoxious patterns... this is the one. It's big, substantial, has a subtle white-on-white pattern, doesn't pull even when my dogs hop on the bed, and washes up well in the washing machine. It's great!

I purchased these as throw pillows for new furniture I purchased. When I received them, they appeared to be much more red then they show up. The texture although velvet as promised, was more vevelty then I expected. They seemed very flat and seemed to be lined with plastic in the inside. I tried them out for a couple weeks, but later decided based on the color and texture they weren't really what I had in mind.

These pillows are well worth the price. Not wanting to spend a ton just for pillows that just sit on my couch, I hunted all over. These pillows exceeded my expectations. Being feather and down filled they are very soft and comfortable. The velvet covers zip on so the can be removed and cleaned if need be.

My 6 month old son has spent most of his nights in our bed and as awesome as it is having him so close I wasn't sleeping much and the little sleep I got was very uncomfortable. The cribs now has a nice softness to it, so it was closer in feel to the bassinet. The little guy sleeps in there just fine. In retrospect, we probably could have gotten a much cheaper mattress pad for the same results, but knowing this pad was "breathable" helped us sleep better at night.

I had mistakingly purchased a hard mattress for my first. She never slept in the crib. My 2nd refuses as well. I added a mattress pad which worked a bit, but I worried about the breathability. Someone on babycenter suggested this pad. From the picture, it looks very thin. Not so! It's actually a very nice thickness, added a great deal of cushion & gives me more piece if mind. I've had these sheets for a year now. The color has held up very well after weekly washings. I actually really like the vibrant blues and gentle pattern.

The sheets and pillow cases are terribly wrinkly out of the drier and need to be ironed regularly. They wrinkle again almost immediately after ironing. The FEEL of the sheets is also kind of weird I'm no expert on thread counts, but with the outrageously high thread count offered on this product I would expect the sheets to feel a little nicer than a cheaply made t-shirt.

All in all, for the price, this sheet set serves as a good guest-room bedding option. Definitely not for regular use, they have since been replaced in my house.

I ordered these sheets because of the high thread count. My husband always complains that I spend too much on sheets until he gets into bed. Our last pair were hotel type and very nice. It was always the best feeling to get in after they'd just been washed and put on the bed. The first time I washed them (on cold and gentle cycle) there was a hole already starting in one of the pillows seems. Which was the least of my issues with them. They just didn't have that cool (temperature) feeling that our old ones had. My husband says he likes these ones. He says they are "soft" but I think he is only saying that so I don't go spend a bunch of money on another pair... Because once you take sheets out and put them on your bed and use them and even wash them once, it's not like you can send them back...

Kids Hypoallergenic Pillow

This pillow was a great size for our 3-year-old son, and we were pretty happy with it at first. But we noticed that the fiberfill tended to separate pretty easily inside the pillow where my son would lay his head, leaving a gap between the fluffy parts. I would try to fluff it back up, but over time the problem just kept getting worse. We are now looking for a new pillow because the fiberfill is too lumpy and separated now (we've had the pillow for about 10 months). Very disappointing.

This pillow was nice and lofty when it was new, but quickly turned flat within a few weeks. It's too bad as it is a good size pillow and my 2 year old liked it when it was new. Now it's so flat that he may as well not use it, as it provides no support for his head. Save your money and don't buy.

I have used both down and man-made stuffed pillows throughout my life. I definitely prefer down pillows. Unlike man-made ones, down or feather/down pillows come with a slight scent. To irradicate that, I hang my new ones outside for several days, occasionally squeezing them to circulate air thru. With these pillows, I smelled the scent the first night, after that, they didn't smell at all. I suggest down pillows over feather/down any day, as there is no crunching noise from feather quills. Sometimes feathers poke thru the cover, unlike down feather that will not. These were a great bargain, almost 2 for the price of 1, and they are nice and full and fluffy.... They fit in a queen sized pillow case and protector, but if you want them to be even firmer, stuff them in a standard size protector and case. I would buy these again.

These pillows are exactly what they say they are. The wonderful loft of down but filled enough to be supportive. I think these are the perfect pillows.

These are not egyptian cotton 800 thread sheets. i know the label says they are but they feel like regular 250 count sheets to me. Very dissapointed and will not make such purchasing mistakes in the future. Just go to bed bath and beyond so you can feel the sheets because these are a very cheap immitation. Only redeeming quality is that they are deep pockets for newer type mattresses and have a nice color to them. Otherwise not worth the supposed discount price.
