This was a terrible buy, my worst Amazon purchase ever to be specific. It looks beautiful in the picture but what you actually get is very very VERY CHEAP thin material. Something that you would find on clearance at WALM*RT. If it were possible I would give NEGATIVE STARS for a waste of my time. I read the reviews thinking that maybe people were just being too picky and/or uppity but NO! For 80 bucks I thought I would get something at least half decent, I wasnt expecting luxury by any means but geezI do have taste, not to mention a sense of touch! I will never purchase from this seller ever again. Terrible, would have made a nice set if it was what it looks like.

June 2010: My boyfriend and I have been looking for bedding which I consider formal enough to dress up a room (not just a blanket, but a matching set). He wants a set which is masculine enough so that he doesn't cringe every time he walks in the room. We were both so impressed with this set. As in the previous comment, ours came with a beige button pillow instead of blue like the picture, but its so nice! The comforter is sewn nicely and in such a way that the batting within doesn't slide around (a problem I've had with other comforters). We like that it keeps us warm when we need it to but is light enough and has such a texture that we can also stay cool when necessary. We've decided that we like the color palette so much that we're redecorating our master bedroom to match the comforter set!

August 2012: I have to say that from experience, you get what you pay for. For $80 bucks this stuff costs an average of 10 bucks per piece = cheap. Good quality comforter sets usually cost around $350 or more is what I'm finding. I had originally rated this with 5 stars. Now 2 years later, that comforter set is in a closet because it just didn't last. After several washes, it doesn't matter that the batting stayed put because the fabric is so cheap that it tore from the washer cycle! I am impressed that the picture seems to have been updated. However, this set looks horrible and didn't last. Don't waste your money folks.

My 13 year old daughter selected this comforter set for her bedroom because she liked the colors and style. I liked the fact that the set contains 8 pieces which makes a complete bed ensemble. . .no searching for extra decorator pillows or a bed skirt to match. I also liked the fact that this set is washable which is essential in a household with a teenager and two cats (who also love the comforter!). It's hard to tell in the picture, but the fabric on all pieces contains a slight sheen, giving them a more elegant look. So far we love the set although it has not yet been through a washing so I cannot tell how it will hold up. I also note the small blue decorator pillow pictured (with the buttons) was not blue in the set I received. It was actually a cream/tan color with brown trim. Not a huge problem but the item wasn't exactly as pictured in case that's a high priority for anyone thinking about ordering this set. All in all, I'm very pleased with this product.

I read the reviews prior to purchasing the bedding so I did know the small blue decorative pillow would be ivory, not blue. Although I think I would like the pillow in the blue color better, I love the look of the set overall. The sheen appearance really gives an elegant look and the colors are very modern. This set is a perfect balance for couples who do not want too girly or too masculine of a look. The small pillow has a ruffle and the comforter has pleats allowing for some feminine presence however the striping, colors and clean lines bring a handsome look. I painted the wall behind our bed a dark chocolate and the other three walls a lighter version of the blue in the bedding. With simple chocolate drapes, the room looks like a high end hotel room. The feel of the comforter is pleasant and the ability to machine wash it is awesome!

A great, affordable way to update the look of your room! :-)

These lotion/soap pump bottles were a pleasant surprise. Amazon ran them on closeout for less than $3 each, including super saver shipping. They are certainly worth that and more. The bottles are advertised as ceramic, but I would describe them more as glazed stoneware. The bottles are heavy and will hold more than 8 ounces, as they are 5 and ¼ inches tall, with a diameter of 2 and ¾ inches. It was somewhat difficult to tell the colors from the website, but they are dark brown, medium turquoise green, and light blue. I especially like the copper tone pump top. My bathrooms have this retro ceramic blue tile in them, and the bottles go well. The workmanship on the bottles is excellent, colors being applied cleanly and glazed well with no chips. The pump action is good and nothing leaks.

Very comfortable duvet set, the product arrived on time and after a wash looks and feels great on the bed, I totally recommend this product...

The only complaint I have is that there were no ties inside, at the corners. I sewed a couple in myself and am very happy. It is easy to tell, by both look and feel, that this is 1000 thread-count fabric. The subtle satiny stripes are just enough to keep it from looking flat black. I love it and am considering buying it in a few different colors. Ohwrinkles pretty easily but not a huge concern for me, as it is not obvious when stretched out on my bed.

Seriously, DO NOT BUY THIS PILLOW FOR STOMACH SLEEPING! The product description says it is 2" thick. Another reviewer indicated that it is only 2" thick on the sides. The truth is, there is NOWHERE on this pillow that could be measured as even close to 2" other than between the two, dark border/trim cloths you can see in the picture. In other words, this pillow is at least 3" thick on the extreme ends, and rapidly increases up to probably 7 or 8 inches in the middle. Additionally, the stuffing is firm and the 7-8" will not compress down much at all. I was looking for a thin pillow for stomach sleeping. If you are too, DO NOT BUY...look elsewhere. I'm at a loss as to how the other reviewers like this pillow for stomach sleeping.

This pillow isn't flat. When shopping for a new flat pillow I ordered this one to try... the description said it was only 2 inches thick so it sounded perfect. However, the middle is quite thick. The pillow is soft and all, it just is not even close to being flat-ish. It does look to be 2" thick at the edges, but where your head would rest is thick and full. :(

If you really sleep on your stomach this pillow is not for you. I'm surprised it is called stomach sleeper, maybe the company should invest in research or maybe it's me. Since the pillow is square it forces your neck to be turned up and it is very uncomfortable to sleep that way.

I recently purchased this item for my trip to England. I thought an adjustable pillow would be better suited to the increasing confined space that is coach on airlines. Although it kept my neck padded for reading its too hard to sleep on and doesn't give to your weight. I think the beaded neck pillow would have been better.

This "neck pillow" is only about 4" wide!!! It is MUCH smaller than other twist pillows I have purchased. It is so small that it gives NO SUPPORT to your head. Also the wire inside is totally dysfunctional. It does not hold shape when bent into shape. This pillow is totally useless and not usable.

The spine in the pillow allows you to bend the pillow into any needed shape. It's very comfortable to use as a travel pillow, but could be so much better with just a little wider diameter. The memory foam compresses easily, which is good and bad. The good is the pillow packs very well and takes up little space. The bad is the pillow doesn't keep its shape when used for any duration. A little more diameter would make this perfect.

It's smaller than I thought it would be, but it's great to cuddle with.

Almost makes me forget I don't have a girlfriend.

Admittedly, I'm a little embarrassed I own one, but I was looking for a body pillow to go with my new bed and, well, Code Geass is one of my favorite anime and C.C. is easily my favorite character. I also appreciate being able to display a bit of myp ersonality in my room and like the way the print looks. More on topic, I was expecting it to be much smaller as many anime products tend to be, but it's quite long. The image isn't fuzzy or anything and it feels alright to hug (yeah, yeah, well I lay on my side). The fabric might feel nicer if it was a little smoother/silkier, but there's really nothing to complain about, it's far from rough.

So, if you like Code Geass and you love CC and you need/want a "hug pillow", I say buy it. It might be a touch expensive, but I really like that it shows off something I thoroughly enjoy.

DaDa Bedding Green Vine Cotton Quilt Set Twin / Queen / King Patchwork

This came in the mail today and I was a little disappointed in the color. The picture on amazon (as well as on the bag!) make the color look like a beige-ish khakithe browns look muted and blend with the pastel. In actuality it is a much more orange-ish tan color-looks more masculine and doesn't match as well with the blues, in my opinion. Structurally it was fine, but the color was not was I was expecting.

We got this quilt because we were so tired of the blankets that came from the stores and just didn't do anything to keep us warm. This blanket is both thick and comfortable. well worth the money.

Downright Himalaya Gusseted Siberian and Polish Goose Down Pillow

Just received two of these, had I thought they were so full and thick I probably would have ordered only one! Very plush.

Bought this for my wife for Xmas. She's been asing for a nice feather pillow for a while now, so I thought I'd start with top of the line. This one is not firm enough for her. That's a problem, because this is the firmest out there. I think pillow shopping is very personal and while some will love a $10 pillow, other will love a $270 pillow and it may have nothing to do with the price.

I gave it 3 stars just because it didn't work out for me. The pillow is very well made, well packed and seems like it would be great for those looking for a feather pillow. Just not for us.

I like this pillow very much. I waited over a month before reviewing it. Given the price point, I was cautious and purchased one first for testing. After two weeks I decided I liked it enough to purchase a second. Please note that this pillow is now known as the "Himalaya" pillow by name.

The 800+ Fill power is very nice and the weight of the filling (19oz/Queen) allows the pillow to keep it's shape against my tendency to toss and turn at night. Moreover, the gusseting allows the pillow to reach maximum loft and moreover, I selected a pillow protector also with gusseting.

this pillow is made in the USA of imported materials which is a nice touch. After years of disappointment with Pacific Coast Feather products, I am happy to have found DownRight pillows. I have always found Pacific Coast pillows a tad gimmicky and a bit heavy on the marketing.

I'll definitely be adding more downright bedding products to my collection as budget and time permits. DreamSoftBedware was definitely very personal and prompt with all my questions. I was nervous about purchasing such an expensive pillow with a no return if used policy so they definitely made me more confident in a first time purchase.

Leachco Back 'N Belly Contoured Body Pillow

I purchased this pillow with the desire to have it help me stay on my side throughout the night, but it was a huge disappointment. Other reviewers noted the "seam" at the top seemed to be "uncomfortable" and would "dig into my shoulders." These reviewers were absolutely correct. This video shows the challenges with that seam and allows you to choose whether or not to take the plunge. Leachco offers no solutions to assist with this problem, but I tried several and nothing worked.

1. Place a pillow in the U groove (too bulky)

2. Put your head on the separated side where the feet belong (the pillow separated too much and I ended up on my back)

3. Pull the feet closer together (I had them overlapped at one point)

4. Pull my head down and away from the seam to get it off my shoulder (my neck was at some weird vertical angle)

5. Take the outer cover off (although the outer cover had a worse seam than the inner product, this didn't really help)

I acutally had dreams about showing people the groove markings on my neck. The pain was so significant while I was asleep that it infiltrated my dreams. Perhaps this product is more defective than most and my complaints are worse than most, but you will be able to judge for yourself. If you look close enough in the video, you might see the threads pulling at the seam, and considering this pillow has been used for one night, that should not be the case.

One recommendation that other reviewers had that was great was to cut off one end of a pillow case and place it at the top of the U to avoid cleaning as often. I did this, but it didn't help the seam.

I simply cannot recommend a product that I cannot sleep with and it will be returned tomorrow.

A totally worthwhile investment!

About 12 weeks into my pregnancy, my hips were already aching so badly that I couldn't sleep. I went online and searched for pregnancy pillows and this was the only one I found that mentioned alleviating hip and shoulder pain.

It works. The first night I used it, I slept all through the night with no pain whatsoever.

I agree with other reviewers the cover is poorly designed and the seam at the U-curve really cut into my shoulder. But I have since inverted the pillow and sleep with my regular pillow slung across the "legs." I like this better as it doesn't prop my head up so high.

The other way I have positioned this pillow is to wrap the "legs" around to create little circular nest to put my belly into so I can nap on my stomach. I can't say it's too comfortable for long-term sleeping, but the novelty of resting in something other than a side-lying position is pure bliss! It also makes my back readily available for massages...

I have a queen sized bed and my husband hasn't complained a bit about being crowded out. He snuggles right up to me in my "nest" and is still hogging most of the bed, as usual.

Overall, I would highly recommend this pillow particularly to pregnant women suffering from hip and shoulder pain. Don't worry about the negative comments about the poor design. The cover could definitely be a improved upon, but it's not a deal-breaker. You just learn to compensate for it with different positions, etc. Hopefully the manufacturer will either fix the seam or offer different pillow covers, but even if they never do, you won't want to be without this wonderful pillow.

I got this when I was just beginning to show and I loved it so much. I heard all the other pregnant women who couldn't sleep because they couldn't get comfortable; obviously they didn't have this touch of heaven. It is big, but i slept in a different bed while i was pregnant(why torture my husband with my bizarre sleep patterns and continuous trips to the bathroom while i was pregnant?). So if you have a queen you and your hubby will have a tight fit in bed with this pillow, but it would be fine with a king. I cut the end out of pillow case so I could have an extra cover over the pillow for my face area(so I didn't have to wash off my eye makeup if i wanted to catch a quick nap). The case that comes over the pillow is great, but you don't want to be taking it off every week to wash, just cut the end out of a pillowcase you don't like anymore and wash the big case less frequently.

At 6 monthes pregnant I was just starting to have alot of trouble sleeping. I bought this pillow and I love it! I sleep straight through the night now with out tossing and turning trying to get comfortable. I have alot less trouble with back pain throughout the day since using this product. Unlike some of the other pregnancy body pillows I've seen, this one supports both the total back and belly at the same time. It feels so cozy. It also helps keep me on my side because with out it I tend to end up on my back every night. My husband says I look so comfortable sleeping with this pillow that he wants to use the pillow to sleep after I have the baby. He'll have to fight me for it! Sometimes I even use it to sit or lay comfortably on the couch or floor. You can use it in so many ways. Definetely worth the money! At first I was afraid when ordering the pillow that it would take up too much space in our queen size bed and bother my husband but I was so glad to find out it really doesn't. Great product. I would recommend every pregnant woman who has back pain and trouble sleeping to buy this pillow. I am now 8 1/2 monthes and I am still using it. I have also washed it and it washes well.

Everyone is different in their sleep comfort and no pillow is perfect. It took me some time when I first got the pillow to find my method. (Believe me, I am very picky about sleep positions.)

I lay the pillow with the open end at my head and touch the ends together. Then I lay my regular pillow just over the top. I kind of snuggle in between on my side with my legs on top of the bottom end of the pillow. It tooks a few nights to get used to sleeping with my legs slightly elevated and extra cusion under my neck, but now I love it. It is comparable to sleeping before pregnancy. I wish I would have had it with my first child!!

Getting used to sleeping with a growing middle is a challenge. I really think this pillow provides the best support. Give it a few weeks and some different position tries and find what is best for you!
