I was concerned after reading reviews that the king size quilt would not be large enough for a king sized bed and I am correct. The quality is great but the width does not look the best. I am now going to purchase brown sheets and keep the side of the bed that can't be seen upon walking in the room extra short so it looks good. Shame on the manufacturer for skimping on size.

I got this quilt as a present to myself. We have a queen bed but the king size fits perfectly. The colors match everything in my bedroom and it makes the room look so sexy. I paired it with a couple chocolate patterned rugs and a beige swag rug. My drapes are also a patterned chocolate and tan and the room is painted in a sedate gold. The quilt covers the entire bed and has room to spare. Good deal.

I have an original Temperpedic mattress, it is only 8" thick, and I don't have a box spring. My bed has drawers all around it that I don't want covered up by a bedspread. I was looking for a coverlet. After reading all the reviews, I ordered a king in this and another coverlet that I got at the same time. This one I am planing on using in the winter.

Not having a very thick mattress, it can be risky getting a King, the one I got with this one was actually too big. Greenland Home Katy King Quilt Set by a lot! This one, however was perfect! I can't see how it would really fit a King, or how the queen would work on one. I looked at a ridiculous number of coverlets before I ordered and most of the sizes for a queen were 90x90, this one is 86x86, much smaller.

The color on my monitor does not do this justice. The yellow looks mustard, the green looks gray, and the orange looks much brighter than it does in person. In reality the yellow is a nice toasted gold, the green is a sage, and the orange is kind of a burnt senna. It's really nice and goes with most of my sheets since I have gotten earth tones for years. I washed it and tested it out in the summer since if I waited I wouldn't be able to return it if something was wrong.

I love the fact it is microfiber. It is replacing a microfiber comforter we have had for many years that had finally started to give up the ghost. I have been looking for at least a year for a replacement and the reviews I have seen have been very bad on them, until this one. Good microfiber wears like iron, and washes fabulously! With two dogs and allergies I have to wash our bedding at least every two weeks. It is also polyester so it doesn't breath, so it keeps you really warm in the winter, and you cannot beat it for texture. It feels heavenly on your skin. I spend the majority of my time sitting on our bed (I have pain issues) and even with the quilting this coverlet is soft and comfortable even against bare legs). Of course the quilting on it is wonderful, and unique. My husband even commented on how "nice" the quilting is. It goes through to the bottom cloth so it will keep the batting (what there is of it) in place wash after wash. The bottom cloth is brown, made from cotton, and although not as soft, or nice you could reverse it if you wanted to.

I did deduct half a star for the tiny amount of batting it has, there is just enough to fill out the quilting so it has some nice texture. There is not really enough for real warmth, and since I got it for my winter cover (and considering it is microfiber it really shouldn't be a summer quilt, unless you are a really cold sleeper). I wish it had more. I like it enough that I will either buy an electric blanket, or just a couple of regular ones if we decide that this one isn't warm enough. The other half star is for the loose strings it has when you get it, if they were just flopping loose it wouldn't be so bad, an easy trim. But they were long enough to get sewn under other stitches, so you have these lines running out of place along the quilting and with two dogs, I didn't want to leave them for their nails to eventually yank. So I had the task of finding them, gently pulling them, to figure out which side was attached, and when I finally got them pulled out from the sewn down stitches, hoping I wasn't cutting anything that would unravel. It was a bit nerve racking. So far so good though.

Over all I do recommend this, for colder months. For summer the Greenland Home Katy King Quilt Set, is a nice quilt, but only get the King if you have a king size bed or if you want a bedspread!

We love this quilt. The colors are beautiful and it is made very well! We have a king platform bed and it fits nicely. If we had a boxspring under our mattress then this quilt would be way too small. If you want it to hang to the floor then you would probably need a king size comforter for a full size bed and that may not even work. We have drawers under our bed so we do not want it to come down far, but if we did, this quilt would be way to small. Like I say, we love it but we do not have a boxspring on our bed so it fits nicely!

I love this quilt. It has beautiful rich colors and doesn't show the cat hair. I bought the king size for my queen bed and it fits nicely. It is a heavy quilt with a lot of stitching. It feels like suede. It might be too heavy for summer if you are looking for a light quilt but is nice for keeping warm. It is kind of stiff like other reviewers have been saying but that doesn't bother me.
