-Don't know why "suede" is in the title, this is 100% polyester and definitely not soft leather

Recommended, sure. But you may want to save your $20 and get a larger, softer bedrest pillow from Walmart or something.

For this low price, I obviously wasn't expecting real suede, but I assumed the fabric would be a little more substantial than basic cotton. This bedrest might work fine for a child under the age of 10, but for anyone older, this bedrest is way too soft there's zero back support, even resting up against an oak headboard. I think the most basic problem is that the bedrest is way too lightweight it slides all over the place, offers absolutely no back support for the user. If it wasn't such a hassle, I'd send it back for a refund from Amazon.

My son loves it. It's very full, so it's not going to be falling apart or squishing by weight of someone.
