Perry Ellis Sweet Bay Duvet Set

I was very disappointed when this package arrived. I really liked the vibrant greens and blue against the smooth brown and thought it would go perfect with my bedroom setup. Unfortunately, the colors are much more dull in reality. It literally looks like it's been washed 100 times. I photographed it myself, and the picture came out looking just as good as the one online so it must be a very photogenic duvet set :) I still really like the pattern. Just wish the colors were true to the photo.

Besides the color fail, it was really rough. I slept with it one night and had to switch blankets in the middle of the night before I could actually sleep well. My mom really liked it so I gave it to her. But she tends to like anything that she doesn't have to pay for.

All in all, I should have listened to the reviews that said the same thing before I purchased this. I'll never buy bedding online again.

Very cute pattern and colors, matches our setup perfectly. My only disappointment was it seem the brown background faded a bit after the initial washing. It became a bit muted and did not see as sharp and vibrant as when I took it out of the package.

The color was horrible. Looks as if it is 10yrs old and has been washed over and over. It took me weeks of looking online at duvets to find 'just the right one'. What a mistake. I will no longer be buying linens online.

Like others have pointed out in their reviews, the colors in this are a bit faded in comparison to the product photo. But honestly, this is a good thing, in my opinion. I LOVE it and surprisingly I love the reverse side just as much (which is a very rare thing indeed with me). The material itself isn't as luxurious as I would go for but I knew that when I purchased it and, in fact, purchased it for that very reason.

Really my only complaints are that it doesn't come with a matching bed skirt; luckily the duvet set I switch this out with has a skirt that matches okay but these colors have such a slightly worn look to them that I can see matching them any closer would be pretty difficult. My other complaint is that there aren't ties in the corners to affix the duvet inside so it won't scrunch around inside. This isn't a deal-breaker for me since I easily sewed in my own in about five minutes but if you're not willing or able to do that, this may be a deal-breaker for you.

But if you are looking for a good value a nice not to femmy not to bold look a good fitting product at a great price then this is your duvet cover set. I am happy I have a new look to our bedroom and that I didn't break the bank doing it.
