Chic Home 8-Piece Nori Embroidered Comforter Set, Queen, Yellow/Grey

When I got this out of the package, I thought it was cheap looking and it really is. Once the bed is made it is cute, like in the picture, but the polyester filling bunches up and doesn't distribute evenly across the comforter which makes it flat in some places and bulking in other. Also, due to the awkward bulkiness it barely fits in a washer and then doesn't get completely clean because it is so billowy. AND to make things worse the first time I washed it, a 5 inch hole ripped in the seam. This is a VERY CHEAP comforter set. If you are going for a guest bedroom with little use, that is fine, but NOT practical for everyday use and NOT durable. I would spend more money and get something of higher quality.

The Good-

I really love these sheets. For the price it was a good deal. They were packaged well, and arrived quickly.

They are super soft and they fit well on my bed. I cannot see through them, like someone else claimed. They aren't that thin. To see through them I would have to hold them up to a strong light or something. They fit better than the other two sheet sets ive had for years, which were both a different brand each, and they slipped and slided all over my bed, which is a full, all the time. Id have to tug at them and fix them every single night before bed, but I don't have to do that anymore with this set! It seems to just stay put and doesn't form as many wrinkles as others do.

The Bad-

I was fooled by the photo and expected to get that big blue blanket that takes up half the photo. I was extremely disapointed when it didin't come with the package. As a former seller on Ebay myself, I would never post a photo up of something that was not included. It's simply bad business to do that. Also it's considered right to do by customers that if an item is shown in the photo, it should list 'Blanket Not Included' I wrote to the company with my suggestions but, of course, they didin't change anything, which also shows they don't care about their customers too much, because from what I learned of business, if a company really cares about their customers they take their suggestions to heart. I guess not in this case. What they did is called 'Misleading Advertising' They did answer me quickly and apologize, which was good, but also stated that in their add they did clearly state what was included. Which is true, and why I didin't put up a further fuss about it, but the photo is still very misleading and should state 'Blanket Not Included'

Conclusion-

I will probably buy sheets from them again, just for the price and quality, but I may not recomend them to anyone either.

I am often an optimistic buyer with only positive reviews but I am extremely disappointed with these sheets. My fitted sheet does not fit on my mattress, the "deep pockets" are not and deeper than regular sheets. THe fitted sheed does not even match the top sheet, it is a lighter blue. And the top sheet has a stain on it. These sheets feel like cheap rough sheets. I wish I did not waste my money on this product. I do NOT recommend these to anyone.

Opened the package to find DIRTY SHEETS...one area was actual dirt and the other was a pink stain THAT DID NOT COME OFF after pre-soaking and washing. I am so disappointed and surprised that Amazon would even have this product for sale!!!! Don't waste your money!

Tropical Punch Decorative Pillow

Bought this to go along with an animal theme for my daughters room. Looks great! And can be used as a great pillow down the road.

This pillow is cute and goes perfect with the rest of the Cocalo Tropical Punch set. The pillow is a little smaller than I anticipated. It's about 1/2 the size of a standard sofa pillow. I originally bought the pillow to use with a rocker but I think it will be too small to actually serve a function. If you are going to use it for a decorative item then I would recommend it but it you want to actually use it I would look for another option.

1200-Thread-Count Egyptian Cotton 1200TC Sheet Set, California King, Ivory Solid 1200 TC

This is an excellent business with great customer service that handle returns very well.

However, when buying sheets do not be fooled by thread count. Thread count is the number of threads in one inch vertically and horizontally. Ply is the number of strands in one thread. A 1200 TC single ply will probably be thinner than a 800 TC double ply sheet. These are single ply sheets.

You might want to think of TC and ply (roughly) this way. Using 1/4 inch thread the TC would be 4 in length and 4 in width or a sheet with a TC of 8. The sheet would be 1/4 inch thick.

Using a 1/8 inch thread you would have 8 threads each and the sheet would have a TC or 16. The sheet would be 1/8 inch thick. It would also be 1/2 as thick as the sheet with a lower thread count. So the lower TC sheet would be much thicker than the sheet with a higher thread count.

Single ply sheets with high thread counts result in thin sheets with excellent drape that are cool in hot summer months.

Double ply sheets result in thicker sheets with excellent wear and durability and are warm in winter months.

These my friend are nice single ply sheets, they are not thick, should be cool to sleep on and have good drape.

If your looking for thicker sheets you might be well served to look at a 800 TC double ply sheet. They are available here on Amazon. If you read my other reviews, you will find them.

My first set of these sheets were just what I was looking for, heavy, well made 100% Cotton sheets, perfect for warmer and humid climates, as we have in Georgia.

They become softer as they are used and washed, shrinking is not an issue or bunching up at the seams, in addition they will fit the new thicker mattress'.

I should stress that these are not microfiber sheets, I honestly can't see how anyone can like microfiber, I ordered a set of J S Sanders sheets advertised as 100% cotton but upon receiving them I discovered that they must be some type of synthetic material as they were non-absorbent, also you can see right through them, I just checked the listing again and I'm surprised to see them are getting a decent rating. I sent the sheets back and the seller (The Comfort Zone) promptly sent my refund, actually the seller was very good about the entire issue.

I am about to order another set of sheets from this company, The Egyptian Cotton Factory Outlet , my first set was ordered in July 2011 and I was surprised to see that they are still available, will update this review upon receiving this next set.

I purchased the Cuddle Ewe underquilt over a month ago, and so far have been very satisfied. It has eased some of the general aches from exaustion and also arthritis. If your body aches at night, preventing quality sleep, I highly recommend the underquilt. It is also a non-toxic alternative to the foam pads so often used. It does have a tendency to wear down where you lay, but it it does bounce back somewhat when you fluff it. It is not cushy soft, but it is soft enough to cradle your body and give you a good night's rest.

I had heard so much about this product that I finally decided to try it. I have fibromyalgia and even the Sleep Number bed I have is not very comfortable, so I decided to try the Cuddle Ewe quilt. It's better than a plain mattress, but it flattens out within one night and needs daily "fluffing", and halfway through the night it "bottoms-out" again. I definitely don't think it's worth the price and the "free pillow" that is included is very flat and covered with a material that borders on plastic. It's not conducive to a good night's sleep. Over all, it's better than nothing, but not up to the hype the advertisers give it.

I have fibromyalgia and sleep has always been a problem. I bought this quilt as a last ditch effort and am very glad that I did. It does settle, as the previous reviewer states, but it maintains a gentle softness that is really helpful is atttaining a full night's sleep. Since I have statrted using it I sleep through the night, whereas, before, I would wake anywhere between 4 and 8 times. It is a great product and true to its advertising. I would definitely recommend it to other FMS patients.

This product is perfect for a child. If you are a normal-sized woman of normal weight, the product is not big enough and too soft. I turned it around, because I didn't want to use it as a pillow too and wanted to use my own side-sleeper pillow. It would not stay in place for knee, or back support. It was too light weight and not bulky enough to do it's job and moved all over the place in my sleep. BUT, it's perfect for a child. I discovered even the other size would not work, because if you turn it around to use your own pillow, when you move in your sleep you inevitably move it out of your way, especcially if you toss, turn, kick, etc. in your sleep. Otherwise it's a great product.

Hollander Ultimate 400 Tc Cuddlebed

This mattress cover is wonderful. It is well made and has thick padding on the top. I wash it very gently on warm and dry on very low, and so far it has done fine. The padding has stayed where it is supposed to be and has not bunched up. It is so much more comfortable than sleeping on the mattress with just a sheet on top. However, if you are one of those people that like the memory foam you will probably not like this. This mattress pad is just soft and comfortable. It does not suck you in like memory foam. I definitely would buy this again.

I am currently deployed in Afghanistan and had been sleeping on a terrible mattress. The springs were practically worn through, needless to say I was having a rough time sleeping. Aside from being teased about the name "cuddlebed" this mattress topper is awesome. I like the fact that it is fitted so it stays in place. Great buy!

I never really leave amazon reviews unless the product is absolutely terrible, but this mattress pad is SO awesome,I just had to share. We purchased our mattress right after I gave birth and was advised not to get a pillow-top by everyone with an opinion (because we were planning on co-sleeping). Well, once the first year of co-sleeping and nursing were over, we were left with a hard, awful bed. It served it's purpose but four years later, I was sick of it and set out to find the perfect mattress pad. I searched for months in stores and on Amazon and nothing really compelled me to buy. The foam ones go flat after a few months and they adsorb body odors. The down ones are way to hot and make my husband sweat. Then, I stumbled on to this one. There is a reason it currently has no bad reviews (as of 7/14/12). Because this mattress pad is AWESOME. I've had it for a month now and am still so excited every time I go to bed because I feel like I'm sleeping on a cloud. I wake up with no side or back pain, neither does my husband. I fall asleep faster and with no tossing and turning. The picture is more than accurate and the sides are really sturdy. I have yet to wash it but I think I'm going to be safe and take it to be dry cleaned.

This is seriously the best $55 I have ever spent. Stop searching and just buy this if you want a soft, plush, good quality mattress pad.

I'll report back after a year with an update.

These sheets are supposed to be 1200 thread count egyptian cotton... yeah, RIGHT! They're very thin with a satin feel. The edges of the pillow case are not sewn like we have here in the United States. These are sort of like a "pocket". The hems are all single stitched and the elastic isn't even sewn in well.

The seller wrote to me after I left a bad review and offered to give me back money on one set of sheets (I bought two sets) if I would remove my bad review, stating that I must have gotten a bad set of sheets (but both sheet sets are the same) and that my review really hurt his business. My point is this; if you don't want bad reviews, don't sell bad products!! I would NOT remove my review because I did not want someone else to end up buying this crap.

Never have I had a problem like this with Amazon.com. The item is completely falsely advertised, and the company blamed Amazon for the add and took no responsibility for the product. Nowhere in the original add does it say what it really is. When I contacted the seller multiple times, they contradicted themselves with their responses. When I asked for the third or fourth time to just have the product that was advertised, 1200 thread count Egyptian queen size sheets, instead of the microfiber (under $20 cheap sheets they sent that state on the product twice actually: that they only "feel" like 100% Egyptian cotton 1200), I was offered a refund over and over (to essentially send back the evidence at a complete inconvenience to me), and my question to have the real product sent was completely ignored each time. Now, I am a reasonable person, I said that I would not even leave negative feedback if they sent me the product and I returned the false one. If you still don't believe the negative reviews from this company (all the most helpful reviews on this product are negative for a reason)contact luke.yargo@live.com and I will be happy to send pictures and all the emails exchanged between myself and this company that I am sending to the BBB (to at least get my question answered) and FTC (for blatant false advertising). I warned the company...this goes to show you they really don't care. Don't believe them or their claim to completely satisfy customers...they don't even respond.

I was excited to receive the matching sheets to a duvet set, but when it arrived, I was so-o-o disappointed. It was completely another color. I emailed the seller right away and I refused an exchange (due to the lack of satisfaction with the duvet, as well, and requested a credit. Then requested info about how to return them. NO RESPONSE and no info in the delivery. I paid for the duvet set at the time of shipping, but have not received a credit or response. While these sheets are soft, they are NOT 100% cotton. They are a microfiber, made of synthetic fibers (which means they will be easy to care for, wrinkle less, but make for a sweaty night's sleep). I am so angry because the packaging falsely advertises "100% Egyptian Cotton", yet in the smaller print you will notice when you receive the package, it reads "(compare to) 100% Egyptian Cotton". I really wish I wouldn't have bought these, because cotton sheets are so much more comfortable to sleep on and are breathable / less-thermal retentive.

These sheets were billed as 1200 thread count, and there is no possible way that they are. I have 500 thread count sheets that are better quality than these are. They are so thin that you can see through them. They also are too big and don't fit the bed properly. I am very disappointed and will never order from this company again.

Nautica Brooklyn Heights European Sham

The pillow shams are really nice. There are buttons to close the back and the fabric was surprisingly soft. The colors are nice although the colors aren't the brown/teal shown in the picture. It's more of a light charcoal gray and a gray sea blue. My only complaint about the shams is the price. I can stomach $50 for a set, but $50 apiece is ridiculous. Unfortunately I fell in love with the duvet cover so I finally purchased the shams too, but I still don't see how they're worth that much.

The online photo is misleading. The pillow sham is not the blue striped pillow you see; it is the dark brown pillow in the very back (barely visible in the pict). This sham is a chocolate brown color with dark chocolate colored trim. It is also square shaped (aka "European Sham"). It seems to be a nice set, but not what I wanted.

Although the fabric appears soft and silky (haven't washed them yet), the workmanship of this set is not as pictured nor does it have any appearance of the quality of fine Italian-made linens. Shame on this company for portraying their products as such. The label on each item only says "Imported." There is no reference to the thread-count. The finishing is rough/home-made and there were numerous loose threads on everything. Just goes to show that you get what you pay for.
