1200 Thread Count Queen 1200TC Siberian Goose Down Comforter 750FP, White 1200 TC

I received this comforter not too long ago and it is amazing for the price. The comforter right out of the package was a little thin. I left it to air out for a couple hours and it fluffed up nice. The baffle-box design is legit and keeps the feathers in place for even distribution. The 1200 thread count will smooth out over time and is very luxurious and cool to the touch after use. It is very warm and breathes well; it is as comfortable as you can get for the price, and it is worth every penny.

I'm psyched to have found a quality down comforter at such a great price. We like to keep the house a bit on the cold side in winter (around 62 degrees) to save on heating costs, and since we just moved to the mountains, a heavyweight down comforter is a necessity. I had a few requirements: had to be 100% goose down, not a blend or synthetic; minimum 600 fill power (which describes the loftiness of the feathers and is a measure of quality); and at least 42 ounces of fill. The thread count, while touted here, doesn't matter as much if you're going to be using a duvet cover.

My front-runner was the Alberta down comforter at the Company Store, but it was a bit steep at $329. This one is even better, with a 50-ounce fill and 750 fill power. It was thin right out of the packaging but a few hours with occasional fluffing made it look perfect. Shipping was a bit slow from this vendor -took two weeks. But otherwise I'm very pleased and will stay toasty warm all winter long.

I thought I was getting a good deal, 750 FP and 50 oz for $147. But I should have know I was just going to get what I paid for. All my other comforters of 750FP and 50 oz I brought in Europe where always very lofty and very very warm, much better quality,a bit more expensive although not a lot more. I did not even receive the one I ordered but was sent the one with stripes on it. This one I really doubt it is what it says, it has no labels on it so who knows what it is. It is not lofty at all and is just warm enough with an extra blanket and a hot water bottle in a room at 67 degrees. I am disappointed, I did not want to use a blanket for me it defeats the purpose of a comforter with a Duvet Cover and I do believe if it was what it says I would not need a blanket. I have given it 3 stars mainly because the customer service was good and they tried hard to meat my satisfaction. I brought at the same time from the same seller a Duvet Set that was not nice or good quality at all. In my review to that I do say it is the first time I given bad feed back which does not feel good to do but I want to avoid others having the same experience. The quality of these product does not seem to be what it should be, I have also wondered if they are selling seconds. The customer service is great I have to say that but does that justify selling bad products?

The product that I received was not as pictured. I received the cabana stipped comforter that was slightly different than the discription. The 1200 TC feels like a 350 TC. I am not understanding under what criteria a 1200 TC description is applied. There was an odor when the comforter arrived. I had to air it out outside. The comforter is warm but not poofy and airy. I replaced this comforter with one that I had for several years from Ikea. In my opinion the Ikea comforter is better. The fill power was 100+ and even though the filling was not siberian goose down, it was a more comfortable warm. The Ikea comforter billowed out while this comforter works more like a blanket. Overall I'd say the product is fair, not worth the money.

Just recieved in the mail and put it on my daughter's pillow. The pillowcase is extremely too big. The pillow falls out if I pick it up without grasping the fabric together. While the fabric is soft, it won't do much good, if it won't stay on the pillow!

I take it to concerts, theater etc. The fold up feature and the fact that it adjusts to any seat and anybody's anatomy is priceless.

I started using this back cushion about 4 months ago, and although there may be other factors, I haven't had lower back pain since. I was having pretty much continuous trouble for the six months before that. I ordered this second one for use in the car.

What I especially like about the Back Pillo is that unlike foam rubber cushions it self-adjusts to the chair back. I have used it on 3 different chairs with various lower back curvatures, and the Back Pillo works fine on all of them. The foam rubber ones are more finicky to set up, and what works on one chair might not work on another.

The important thing to remember when setting up the Back Pillo is DO NOT OVER INFLATE IT, or you will lose the lumbar support. When properly inflated it will be very floppy, and you may even wonder how it could give you any back support at all. This instruction is printed on the back of the Pillo near the filler spout, but all the pictures you see (including the one on the package) show it puffed up full of air. Go figure. I try to put in just enough air that I can feel the Pillo pushing against the small of my back when I lean back in the seat. It may take some experimenting to get it just right.

Mediflow Original Waterbase Down Pillow

I started using Mediflow pillows about 5 years ago, on the advice of my orthopedist/physiatrist. I have some arthritic buildup in my cervical spine, which causes headaches that radiate all around the back of my head. He recommended the Mediflow pillow, and it's given me outstanding results.

I'm on my second down pillow. The first one softened up after 3+ years and wasn't providing the same support anymore, so I ordered a new one and it's been great. I also decided to try the foam version, which is much cheaper than the down version. I found that pillow to be too high for me. It didn't give way as much as the down does, and I was getting headaches again with it. The silver lining to that cloud is that I now use the foam Mediflow during the winter as a body pillow, with the water-filled bladder facing my body. It heats up to my body temperature and feels great, especially on a cold morning. And then I also bought the travel-sized pillow for when I go on the road. So I have experience with a total of 4 Mediflow pillows, and, contrary to what some others have written in the various Mediflow product reviews here, I have never had one leak.

So, back to the down pillow. When you get it, you have to experiment to find the right amount of water for your comfort. It takes a few tries, but once you get it right, it provides an amazing amount of gentle support. It cradles your neck, and the water helps it conform to your own neck/spinal curve. For greater comfort, I highly recommend the quilted pillow protector. It's sold separately on Amazon, but I noticed one of the vendors sells the pillow and protector as a package for an attractive price. The pillow protector adds a little more soft cushioning, plus it's hand-washable so you can keep the surface clean.

The other thing I strongly recommend is that you take a little extra time to carefully squeeze the air out of the bladder before putting the cap back on after filling it with water. If you don't do that, you're probably going to hear water sloshing around as you move your head around on the pillow. Squeeze as much air out as possible and you'll be fine.

I'll be the first to admit that I balked at the price tag of this pillow. $90 for ONE, SINGLE pillow?? I'd already chosen the Mediflow Waterbased Pillow with 'regular' stuffing and had talked myself into believing that $30 was acceptable if this pillow could truly relieve my moderate-to-severe neck pain (residual effect of a car accident in '97). However, before I hit "order now" I took another look around Amazon and found this pricier version, touting "down filling". Even though this one didn't have nearly the number of reviews, I thought I'd give it a try as I was desperate for relief. I just moved into a new town home and bought a foam mattress to replace a decade-old inner spring mattress that should've been tossed about 5 yrs ago ;) I was feeling a little better from upgrading the bed but I was still waking up with terrible head, shoulder and neck aches which I quickly surmised were due to the cheap-y pillows I was still using.

Well, after deciding on the "upgrade" to the Mediflow Waterbase Down Pillow, I was already anticipating it wouldn't work (despite reviews for the other Mediflow pillow) and sending it back. However, after sleeping on it for almost a week now, I have had ZERO neck problems. I still don't believe it even as I'm typing this and trust me, if I wake even once with neck pain I *WILL* come back here and report it. So far, though, this pillow has been worth EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR spent on it and I actually look forward to laying down on it each night and waking in the morning feeling like I actually got a good night's sleep (which I haven't felt since we got the first mattress back in 2002).

I've always bought the cheapest pillows, never spending more than $6 at Wally World (Walmart, to the uninitiated) and even though they were new found I had to double them up and twist and contort them in hopes of getting it "just right" for my neck to be aligned properly and not wake me up at 3a.m. in pain.

Let's just say that now I know better. The instructions were simple, I used regular tap water and measured exactly 3L. Despite the directions stating this is "medium" firmness I have to object; seems more like it's soft to me, but I'm not changing it because it's working marvelously. I'll probably change the water every six months even though the instructions state you can wait a year, just because 12-mo old tap water under my head sounds gross. Also, it wasn't difficult at all to press the extra air out so there is no 'sloshing' when my head rolls around on the pillow. One final note: I did also buy the Mediflow Quilted Pillow Covers (found here on Amazon) for this pillow at the suggestion of another reviewer and I think that slight extra padding does really help turn this great pillow system into a FANTASTIC choice. I don't yet have the pillow slip case cover but I'm thinking about buying it to slip over the quilted cover.

I'm truly stunned and impressed with this pillow and most of all happy beyond words that I've found a non-medication/surgical route to alleviate my persistent neck pain. I'd recommend this pillow even if it was more expensive. In my estimation, the fact it works is worth any price.

I have cervical dystonia (all my neck/shoulder muscles are permanently tied in knots) and have used the regular Mediflow Waterbase pillows for years. They have helped me tremendously in my battle of pain. When I found out about the down pillow I ordered one immediately. Talk about phenomenal comfort WOW! I would recommend this pillow to anyone who has neck pain issues hands down.

The only problem I've had with this pillow is that many standard size pillowcases are too small to fit properly. Just use high end pillowcases that are oversized.

These sheets are comfortable, but not quite as soft as I was hoping. I think this might have something to do with the fact that they are fairly thick due to the very high thread count. I would not buy another set of these, but it is nice to have 1 set. I mainly use them for the guest room now.

We bought 2 of these pillows for an 8 hour trip on a plane. They were perfect! I was able to bend and twist it to hold up my head, but also place it in between the seat for a pillow at the same time. Pillow is bulky for travel. The foam is not "memory" foam but is fairly comfortable. My biggest complaint is that the "twist" feature is really just a couple of notches than bend. There is excess foam at the ends of the pillow that are just sort of hanging there. Comfortable enough, but it's not really any better than your regular travel pillow.

So basically, I am creeped out by hotels. Sleeping in hotel sheets is simply not an option. I have always taken my own sheet so I can put them in the bed. Despite that, I always wake up constantly, wondering if the sheet is touching me or if it is coming up by my feet. I bought this and have used it two times and slept like a teenager (babies don't sleep) both times. Its like a sleeping bag so no chance of your feet slipping out or the top sheet rolling off., but doesn't make you feel trapped either. It is wide and very long so will go right up to the top of the bed and hold the pillow without your feet being crammed (I'm 6 feet). It's also very silky smooth so comfy to sleep in. The extra benefit is that you get all this in a very small package. Its smaller than a twin size flat sheet and the bag keeps it from unfolding. The only drawback is that its a one person set up, so not for the honeymoon. But I love this. So nice to actually be able to sleep at the hotel!

I ordered these, then saw another, less expensive product on Amazon, a chair pad that was a chocolate color, which was what I wanted. I was going to cancel these and order those. I didn't. I am glad. Looking at the two products side-by-side (on the net) under enlargement, I found the material far superior in the product I'd ordered. When they arrived, I was so pleased. The color is milk chocolate, almost dark mink. They are soft, yet, firm. A little rough for naked bottoms, but I don't sit on too many seats in my birthday suit that often. And I could always use a towel, if I did. The material is not rough like snapaper, just not as smooth as velvet. If the material was too smooth, the fabruic would wear out in no time from all the use. They do not slide around on the chair. They stay put. I had to get used to sitting on a pad with four buttons, which took me all of three minutes. Not being an even surface, it was weird to me at first (for those 3 minutes) then I discovered it was not an issue at all. I no longer notice it. My butt adjusted. The other product had terrific reviews, but, to me, the extra $5.00 per chair pad (I bought 4) was well worth it. They have a wonderful quality to them that appears, to me, who has purchased many products in my lifetime, to be exceedingly long lasting. They can easily be spot cleaned. Yeah, I dropped spagehetti sauce on one--wiped away without a trace. The fabric, as stated, appears much superior--will, most likely, last longer than the 2nd product that was cheaper in price. If not, I will let you know.

The gold color is very nice. The chairpad is very thick and comfortable. It also has a non-skid bottom so it stays on my wooden kitchen chairs.

I ordered two pillows to cover a small bench. The color (brown) and texture are lovely. Unfortunately, though,the pillows were marketed as 16 x 18 inches, and that is what I ordered, but what I got were two pillows of 16 x 16 inches. Either there was an error, or the dimensions were misrepresented. Although they look nice if pushed to the edge of the bench, with vertical pillows covering the bare wood behind them, they are still the wrong size, and I am probably sending them back. Very disappointing, especially since I had to wait so long for them to be back in stock.

just wanted a cheap cushion and I am very happy with this one. Its a little big for my chair and this has caused the stitching at the buttons to open, but after that initial tear, they stopped so it doesn't seem to be a problem and I've had this for about a year. there is absolutely no cushion at those four decent points, which is stupid because that's where your ass naturally falls. I had to reposition it to accommodate for this. Even with those two negatives, the price is just great and I'm happy with the cushion.
