We've been using buckwheat filled pillows for the past five years and love how well they improve sleeping posture. But the pillows usually come only half full, or compress after just a few months. These hulls are the perfect refill! The hulls are clean and odorless. A one-pound bag is the right size to complete one pillow, or a two pounder to have some extra to refresh it a year or so. Like the product just fine. Don't know much about its longevit, as it only arrived today.

My complaint has to do with the description of the product. I had no idea how much 2 lbs of buckwheat hulls would fill in terms of the volume. Turns out that the package is about 16" long and about 5" in diameter and would fill a standard pillow about a third of the way.

Don't know what kind of pillows previous reviewers were filling, but any kind of serious stuff requires a lot more product.

I've been sleeping on a Sobakawa for years now. Not only does it offer better support around the neck area, your pillow doesn't get hot as the buckwheat hull doesn't retain heat. With that said, I finally got smart and made my own pillow versus buying the dinky ones that they sell at outrageous prices!

This is the first time that I purchased the organic buckwheat hull and it doesn't seem that it lasts as long as others I've purchased. It does seem to be retaining heat...thus I probably will not purchase this particular brand again.

Best thing so far for tired, or problem hands. I use it with my Kindle and it is great as it takes the weight off my hands. My one suggestion to improve it would be to change the page tightener, if you are using with a book it is difficult to turn pages. But I still recommend it highly.

I was surprised at how light this is, which makes it easier to travel with. I use it with my iPad and Kindle, as well as all size books -big and small. Love how you can mold it to how you need it. Wish they made it in a smooth fabric, as I'm not a fan of the suede-like material. But, the material does help to keep it in place.

I bought two of these for our family room. The material is really nice. My only complaints are that: they are pricey and they get dirty fairly easy. I should have known with two boys and a dog that I should have scotchguarded them first. Other than that, a great buy.

I love this pillow! I bought two for my couch. I originally saw them on a couch and almost bought the couch just because I loved the look of the chocolate couch with these pillows! If you need a leg wedge to keep your back flat on your mattress, the Jobri Spine Reliever is a very good choice, especially post-surgery of your lower back. The construction of the pillow is top quality the foam is firm but not hard, covered with a soft microfiber fabric that can be removed for washing (wash in cold water and do not dry in the dryer to avoid shrinking at the corners). Make sure you know what size wedge you want before purchasing; the large size is 10" high and does strain the use of sheets and blankets unless you leave them untucked; not a problem in our household but could bother others. I sleep on my back and have used the medium size (8" tall) for seven years; the size is perfect for a woman 5'8" tall. I can highly recommend this product, and I am a very fussy buyer, always seeking good quality for a reasonable price.

One last note; I purchased this product through Amazon but the seller was FootSmart. FootSmart has the best customer service group ever I ordered the wrong size for my husband the first time and Footsmart customer service was so helpful. I have a lot of back problems and find myself having to prop my legs up when I sleep or I wake up nearly unable to walk. I picked this up since I'm tired of using tons of pillows. The cover is quite soft, and the foam is comfortable. Not too stiff, but supportive. I ordered this in a large and wish I'd gotten a medium. The large was on sale so I wanted it for the lower price. I'm around 5'6" and this peak of the pillow is more on my calves than under my knees. I need to shift around a little to keep my legs comfy, but that's my fault for getting one too big. This is a great product.

Some people complained it is bulky and doesn't fit well under covers, and they're right. This doesn't bother me at all though, as I'd rather have a good night's sleep than a flat, well made bed.

I am 6'1" with a pant leg length of 34". The LARGE leg rest is perfect for a man my size.

I am a back sleeper, but I usually fall asleep on my side. The leg rest does not interfere with my ability to fall asleep.

I have been using a 45-degree wedge pillow to raise my head to prevent acid reflux. But every morning, I would find myself at the foot of my bed, having slid down the wedge pillow while I slept.

This thing is awesome for my lower back pain as long as I sleep on my back all night (which can be difficult for me). Be aware though that even though I am 6' (and they claim get the large if you are 6' or taller), the large is too large for me. I only wear a 32-33" pant leg though, but I believe you'd need 36"+ legs for the large to fit. I need to contact them to see if I can exchange it for a medium. My legs below the knee hang in the air on the other side of this and the wedge pushes up against the back of my upper leg, causing my legs to fall asleep.

An Min Makura Natural Buckwheat Pillow

I'm very pleased with this pillow. I've been looking for a buckwheat pillow, but wasn't willing to spend a huge amount on one. While the quality of the fifty-five dollar (or more) versions are, I'm sure, better than this, the quality of this pillow is more than acceptable. I happened to get it on a price dip (less than eighteen dollars) which makes it an excellent value.

The size is a bit smaller than a regular pillow. Dimensions are just shy of 20 by 14. I first thought that would be a problem, but it turned out to be a non-issue.

The pillow comes with an inexpensive case I left that on, but put everything inside another pillow case of better quality. The seams are tight no leakage of hulls. There is no zipper to open up the pillow to add or remove hulls. I'm pleased with the amount of fill but, should I want to add more later, putting in a zipper should be easy (don't need to worry about crooked seams it's a pillow!)

The fill amount gives the pillow about 2.5 inches of height when laid uniformly flat (rough measurement). I like a little higher pillow, so I took a regular pillow that was flattened out, put the buckwheat one on top, and then put both into a queen size pillow case. Works great get the height I need, the buckwheat conforms to my neck, and it's a wee bit softer than using just the buckwheat alone.

Buckwheat pillows are one of those love it or hate it propositions. I happen to love how it feels stops neck pain and allows for a very restful sleep. Others, however, can't stand the firmer feel of the pillow. If you can get this during a price dip, it's a great way to see if you like the feel of buckwheat. If yes, this may be all the pillow you need, or you may want to step up to the more expensive versions. If not, you've not wasted a bunch of money.

At a low price this is a five-star product. Not worth buying, however, unless the price is half as much (or lower) than the premium brands.

First, regarding buckwheat pillows in generalthey take a little getting used to, due to the slightly crunchy sound of the buckwheat in your ear as you adjust the pillow. This is for those who sleep on their sidesI suppose that for a back sleeper, this would be much less of an issue. Once the adjustment is made, however, the pillow is very comfortable and offers perfect support for head and neck. This makes for a very comfortable night's sleep. On a recent trip while visiting relatives, my husband and I were able to share a twin bed mostly because of bringing the buckwheat pillow! The pillow enabled me to find such a comfortable position that I didn't have to move at all during the night. The only reason I gave it four stars is that the description said it had five pounds of buckwheat and it really only had three and a half. (I wanted to use the extra to make a meditation cushion and wasn't able to.) All in alla terrific product. I did not notice any chemical smell that another reviewer remarked on.

This pillow is a little smaller than an ordinary pillow, but big enough for my fairly large head.

Before I go to sleep, I shake it to evenly distribute the kernels inside. Since the kernels can become unevenly distributed or pushed to one side, it's best to sleep on your back or side and not roll around too much. It does a nice job of conforming to and supporting my neck and head. It feels cool to the touch and unlike a lot of pillows, does not go flat over time. I find ordinary pillows either too easily compressed (making my head tilt back uncomfortably), or too big and springy (tilting my head forward awkwardly). This one is a move in the right direction and is a good value.

I like the pillow. It is small, but that works for me. I was expecting there to be a zipper, because the description talked about being able to remove some of the hulls initially no zipper, so no removing of hulls.

I woke up several mornings in our guest room (to try out the bed) with itchy red patches on my neck. My southern grandmother used to have a saying about life: "If it isn't fleas, it's bedbugs." I thought bedbugs had become extinct along with the Black Plague, but what else could be causing this? My college roommate was coming the next week to stay in this room so I had to act quickly. I looked for bedbug remedies online and found this mattress covering at Amazon.

This mattress cover was so reasonably priced compared to others I'd looked at I was concerned perhaps the quality was lacking, but I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived that it was fine. It's lightweight and breathes--do support the mattress when you're putting it in the covering. It is super value for the price and seems to get the job done--will probably order more for all the mattresses in our house. My roommate had a great visit (with no complaints) and I haven't had any red patches since. I've since learned the U.S. has had a bedbug epidemic because people aren't using chemical pesticides as much which makes me feel better about my housekeeping. Why purchase an ordinary mattress cover for the home when you can get one that is dust/mite/bug proof for the same price or less? I also bought pillow covers from the same company for our beds and have loved them as well.

For the price, I don't think you can beat it. I bought a vinyl one in the beginning and tossed it after one day because of the awful smell. It wasn't until much research later that I learn how toxic the off gassing from vinyl was. Then I found this which was much more moderately priced than the cotton or polyester covers. We had some bedbugs and my first reaction was to toss all the mattresses in the house. Then I read that it wasn't necessary since bedbugs hide in the cracks in floor/wall and will reinfect any new mattress. So then I vacuumed the entire room/mattress and launder all the sheets/pillow cases/stuff animals in HOT water then 40 mins in HIGH HEAT, then I silicone caulked the entire bottom baseboards in the room and any cracks or holes I saw. Then I covered all the mattresses with the evolon. It's been a week and so far so good. The mattress encasings don't make much sound and doesn't feel hot. It feels rough when I first opened it but after I put it on it was fine. I do suggest that if you have the newer mattresses with a mattress top that you get a deeper fit, like 12-15 inches instead of 9. I have an non-mattress top mattress and it was a snug fit.

Pillow cases are a little stiffer but that may be because I have tempurpedic pillows and they don't fill out the entire standard pillow case. It says that it can be washed and that the more you wash it, the softer it gets and is still effective against bedbugs so I will try it.

A lot of the reviews I read before purchasing were for bedbug protection. Only a few mentioned protection for dust mites and allergens. My 6 year who has been sick for a few months was finally diagnosed with asthma, and a severe allergy to dust mites (among several other things). I decided we quickly needed to get the mattress and pillow case covers to see if that helped. I learned there are a LOT of products out there. Then how did I know which one to purchase? After a night and morning of reviewing products, I decided two things. First, seems there are a lot that work well. Second, if I don't love the one I choose, I can get a different one next time (seems like they only last a year or so). So, based on the good reviews and the affordable price point, I went for this item.

First, after reading other reviews, I washed everything when the package arrived. Definitely paper-feeling, but stronger than it looks. I had two twin mattresses to cover, so I just stood the mattresses up on end. After vacuuming them, I decided to try covering my mattresses myself. I think a twin is do-able on your own (if you're tall). I would definitely say two people for any other size. I was very careful, and was successful in covering them without any problem on my own. Also, after covering the mattresses, I put on their standard mattress covers and sheets. I couldn't hear/feel any difference, and they're kids, so they haven't noticed anything. I don't think it sounds crinkly or rough. But definitely still use a regular mattress pad over them.

It's only been one night, and I can't say my son has miraculously improved. However, he slept the latest he's slept in weeks, and I have not heard any morning coughing/hacking which is amazing. His airways are so inflamed,it's going to take us weeks to heal his lungs, but it sounds like we're definitely on the right track. I am glad I went with these covers. Hoping this good trend continues!

We've been battling bedbugs for awhile now. Our first line of defense, after some research, was to buy protective covers for our mattresses. As far as my family can tell, the encasement has worked, but it's hard to say if the few remaining bites we receive are still coming from the bed frame, or if they are making their way out of the encasement, or if we get them while in other areas of our apartment. With constant washing of bedding and frequent vacuuming and steaming of all furniture and rugs and mattresses, we've definitely seen an improvement. If we are able to rid ourselves entirely of these bugs, we'll be able to better say if the encasement is 100% successful at keeping them trapped within. The encasement is soft, breathable, and comfortable enough that we don't even notice that we have it on.

Solus Organic Cotton Dust Mite Mattress Encasement - Twin

I bought this mattress cover and covers for the pillows and duvet based upon the glowing recommendation on another allergy product website. They are heavier and more coarse than expected based upon the description, and in particular, they are NOT soft as emphasized in the review, even after washing. They are stiff like denim dried in the sun and don't breath very well. I am returning the duvet cover as it is heavier than the duvet itself, and the weight and stiffness of the cover makes the the duvet uncomfortable to use. The pillow cases I already washed, so we are stuck with them. We can feel the stiffness of the mattress cover through the sheets, but we are going to put a mattress pad over it so we can't feel it. Overall, great to find organic covers, but for the price the lack of comfort is not worth it and I'll keep looking. They appear to be well made, have not given them the test of time.

I got LUCKY! ~ I found this Charisma 100% Supima Cotton Duvet and Shams Set at my local Marshall's. I got the King Size Duvet, 2 King Size shams and 2 Standard Size shams for well under $100.00 ~ I knew when I saw these I had to have them and they are by far the softest set I've ever owned. Wish I could find more accessories to add to my set: Like the decorative throw pillows shown in picture. If $$$ is no option I say GO FOR IT! Beautiful, soft, and I machine wash with no troubles.

I "settled" for the ice blue, Martha Stewart bedding set I purchased from Macy's because I couldn't find anything else I liked, in the right shade of pink (NOT hot pink and I didn't find this one until afterwards). Unfortunately the one picture didn't show enough, and what I thought were going to be embroidered pink cherry blossoms were only ivory and beige. Grrrr! I also wanted to relieve the "all blue" of the whole set...the only thing NOT blue were the ivory euro shams and white sheets (annoyingly stiff 200 TC ones, too). So, I saw this, and the matching shams (I also got those), then went searching and found the seller's website. I also got the euro shams, toss pillow and bedskirt (had to settle for king because that's all that was left but, I have a complete queen sleigh bed so the footboard hides where I folded it over), too.

Really lucked out because it's a discontinued style. Everything is lovely and so very soft. So, if there are any more pieces, and you don't need the whole set, DO get it from this seller (super-fast shipping).

Originally, I purchased a different plush one based upon positive reviews here on Amazon, but was sorely disappointed, as it started to fall apart almost immediately. These knit neck pillows are FAR superior and just as adorable. Returned the other one and picked up another one of these and just couldn't be happier. Your little one will enjoy this for years.

PS: I've machine washed these and then let them air dry and it works beautifully.

This seller is misleading about this product in the worst way. The sheets are *not* Egyptian cotton, they are made of "micro fiber yarns" that you are supposed to compare to 1500 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets

As sheets, they do their job and are light and soft enough, I guess, so 1 star for that. But don't buy them based solely on the Egyptian cotton claim.

Needed a cheap spare set for my spare room. Got exactly what I expected. Described just carefully enough to make you think these are Egyptian cotton, yet avoid actually using the word "cotton." They are 100% man-made micro-fiber. Soft & thin, they fit the mattress, are a nice color, and will work well for intended purpose. Not really well constructed. The elastic around the fitted sheet will need to be tightened up and will likely not last long as it is already too stretchy. Top sheet top hem is sewn crooked, so does not lay smooth. Despite description, top sheet top hem does not match decorative hem on pillowcases.

I usually buy thick sturdy sheets and iron for hotel style, but since we live in a tourist destination, wanted a spare set that washes and dries quickly, for the next visitors. These fit the bill, but don't be deceived: if you want cotton sheets, these are not for you. Why only 2 stars? While I got what I expected, I don't appreciate even careful lies.

Upon opening it was evident these sheets are not Egyptian. They are made in China. The sewing is awful. The hems were failing prior to washing. I washed one set and they came out torn along the sheet hem, and the pillow case hem fell apart. These sheets, even at the this price, are utterly worthless. I am sure the seller knows this because he falsely advertises them as Egyptian when they are low quality Micro-fiber. Buyer beware, this sheet set wouldn't make it as a Kmart Blue-Light reject.

I was mislead and sent them as a gift and even the receiver thought she was getting cotton. After all when you see 100% Egyptian you expect cotton. So don't waste a penny on this this worthless crap when you can get cotton!

It was obvious that someone returned this item and it was repacked. The chair and ottoman wood circular frames were damaged from dents from previous shipments. I noticed both after working on items for two hours and 95% completed. The dents were covered up with packaging protection paper. So please check out items completely before putting it together. Not comfortable as anticipated. Warning.. Buy warranty as a safe guard.

I ordered two of these for my RV. Love them easy to move around don't take up much room and seem to be well made used them all last summer with no issue's.

This pillow is a lot larger than I anticipated. Which is a pleasant surprise. It's not made out of the best quality materials so I don't expect it to survive for too long but hopefully long enough. The pillow is soft and a light lavender color. My two year old can sit on it with room to spare. Heavy as well which is a plus for me because I don't want her dragging it around everywhere!
