Nice pillow, just what I wanted, but when I gave it a good cuddle and inhaled I almost gagged. Smells very strongly of bird! Guess I've always been spoiled with super fancy down pillows that have been washed a hundred times. From what I've learned since researching the issue, this is common in cheaper feather pillows and will fade with time. Washing or letting it air out is an option. As long as it does indeed fade, I'm happy enough -just don't buy this expecting to sleep on it right off, or you'll be sorely disappointed.

Update: It took awhile to air out, but the smell is now completely gone (it took about three weeks). I love the pillow now; my only complaint is that the feather stems pop out of the pillowcase now and then and feel like little needles. However, this is easily fixed by doubling up on pillowcases.

I'm not sure what I was looking for but usually I spend no more than about $7 on a pillow and I saw this had feathers and a little down, but when I received it I was really let down (no pun intended).

This pillow lays very flat and has no body at all. I use it as a base pillow and keep on using my cheap synthetic pillow. Save your money and go with a cheaper pillow.

Contour 4Flip Pillow

I ordered this pillow because I sometimes like to watch movies from bed, It turns out I did not make the right choice. It's literally two pillows sewn into one. It's far too plushy to support any weight to lean against. I tried flipping it every which way and could not find a comfortable use for this pillow.

The display picture is a complete lie, that or they used a little person for the shoot. This pillow is SMALL.

Now I have to wait 48hrs for the seller to approve my return request, on top of that there is a 20% restocking fee. So even though I am not happy with this pillow, they still make a profit. What an awesome scam, they win and I lose.

This is an interesting design for a pillow, but it's way too squishy to provide any real support for a reading position. Also, it doesn't really come with a cover unless you want to pull out all the stuffing and restuff it every time.

This item is fine as far as it goes. I was looking for a replacement for a larger, more substantial pillow of similar design. I guess I should have paid more attention to things like weight.

This pillow is comfortable, but it is surprising how often the zipper ends up in the "wrong" place when you shift position.

Nice pillow to use when I need to be on a incline position or sitting up. Its nice it can adjust in the different positions to achieve what I need. Nice quality. I do not like it as a regular sleeping pillow.

I bought this or a similar product from golden violin. Like one of the other reviewers, I was trying to replace a previous pillow. Not at all the same quality. I returned it to golden violin with the comment that it is about $6 worth of batting and not even a pillow case included. I came to Amazon hoping to find a replacement. I'm glad I read the other reviews so I didn't order the same poor quality from a different company.

Arlee Micro Suede Bed Rest Lounger

This product does not provide any support. The filling is either not packed enough or not made from the correct material. I have been searching for weeks trying to find a good reading pillow. I used to buy some filled with "textile fibers of unknown kind" basically little scraps of leftover cloth like clockwork every 6 months. All there seems to be now is this terrible polyester filling.

"Shipping Weight: 7 pounds" What a crock. The pillow weighs ~1.5 pounds. Are they really trying to say the piece of paper, cardboard box, and tape weigh 5 and 1/2 pounds?

This type of item was surprisingly hard to find as Amazon lists it as "Bed Rest." It is a lounge pillow, or pillow with arms, or bed-pillow with arms. I never heard of "bed rest" other than something a doctor orders you to do when you're about to keel over.

Not an invalid or bed-ridden here, I just needed something like this so that when I need to, I can sit up in a bed with a hardwood antique headboard with some back support (without having to arrange 812 pillows behind me) so I can work sitting up, with a laptop.

Product is exactly what it is supposed to be, arrived in an enormous box a toyota could fit in. Not particularly comfortablem very dense, not cushy, but it was the best that I was able to find for the price. Exterior fabric is similar to light cotton. Not an upholstery quality microfiber. I still have to supplement the shape of the pillow with an extra pillow or two, but anything would be better than headboard backache. An inexpensive improvement would be removable washable cover, even if it didn't have a zipper. You guys could sew it that way at the factory without costing a dime and we buyers could wash it when it got icky. Guess I'll make a cover myself.

For the price, I would buy again. NO reason for other companies to charge a hundred dollars for the VERY same thing. By the way, I am really short, and this is the perfect height for me. Taller person might need taller pillow. There's a marketing idea for you! (pillows by the inch)

I asked for a bed-rest for Christmas and i didn't get one. I'm a college student and it would have come in handy.

So i logged on to amazon and ordered it my self.

It came today. It was exactly what i needed. I love it and i'm using it right now. no complaints about the pillow.

.the only down side it came in a huge box bigger than my little fridge. My school doesn't have a campus and is located in the city also it just had snowed and the sidewalks where covered in ice i had a ten minute walk from or school mail room back to my dorm. So when i got safe and sound under all the packing paper was my pillow it was very much smaller than the box. They could have gotten a box that fit it well nad more eco friendly, and the box was open a bit because the tape was on wrong.

The packing aside this pillow is great!!!!

Pillow is nice size and the fabric is pretty. However, it is much deeper than this yellow/golden shade shown, and I would have preferred the stuffing to be more firm. Other than that, it works well for the bedroom decor I was working wtih.

I purchased 4 pillows labeled "Earthtone", and this bolster was one of them. The fabric on all pillows is beautiful and heavy. The color is a gorgeous gold/butterscotch. I paired it with brown, gold and copper shades. The fringe and tassels attached to other "Earthtone" pillows are thick and lovely. After buying and returning many pillows, I can say these are the prettiest of all.

Wonder why people are ordering more stuffing for this pillow? It's because the wool inside this pillow is not enough and substandard. A few months after my purchase, the wool in this pillow developed lopsided hard clumps that won't break up into an even pillow. It is now composed of hard lumps of wool loosely rolling around inside the cover, and very much a "pain in the neck" to sleep on. I have tried to air-fluff it in the dryer to no avail. I also decided to splurge on another wool-filled pillow, from a different company, for $115 (see my other reviews if you want to find it). It is a world of difference! I've had it for almost a year now and it has stayed evenly fluffed and stuffed into a luxurious ball-type pillow since day one! I fluff it on air-dry and it comes out perfect. It feels like I am sleeping on a wonderfully supportive cloud. Don't waste any money on this low quality pillow. (I think they hook you with the "organic" to sound high quality.) By the way, this company changes the price of this pillow constantly, ranging from $36 to $69. If they were more interested in making a quality pillow than cleverly making a buck, maybe they'd avoid these kind of reviews.

At first, I wasn't quite satisfied w/ this pillow the firmness was a bit more than I wished for but after three months, I've found myself using it and that its character has shifted. Maybe this is how it works w/ wool? A bit of a break in period? Still it is not a "down" alternative but if you like a somewhat firm pillow that is healthy, this is good.

I really like my pillow. I've had it for about 6 months now and don't have any complaints. I like to have a firm pillow and I've been impressed that this pillow (and the one I ordered for my husband) has retained it's shape better than my previous cotton pillows. I also have very thick hair that takes forever to dry. I was having trouble with pillows not drying and eventually starting to smell moldy, so the natural anti-bacterial properties of wool is a big plus! One thing that takes some time getting used to.... the pillow smells like wool. I like the smell now, but at first it was a little odd.

So these are the perfect bright pink color if that's what you're in the market for. Not fuschia, almost hot pink. They are the thinnest sheets I have ever purchased light passes throught them. I am not loving the quality, but they will work for my daughter's bed for now while I hunt for better quality. To my surprise, they are bubblegum scented. Yes, scented. Why anyone would feel the need to add a nasty ridiculous chemical smell is beyond me. Two washes and they still smell. I wish I had known that, I would have never bought them. And I purchased three sets. All three smell like bubblegum.

Leachco Back 'N Belly Chic

I was going to purchase the origional back n belly pillow untill i called leachco about the chic version. After speaking to the rep about the improvments i decided to pay the extra amount of money and give this a try. Im glad i did.

Reviews of the origional back n belly state that the seam in the neck area cuts into their neck and or shoulders.. Well, not with this one! Leachco took care of that issue.. A company that listens to their reviews!! The seam is gone and in its place is an additional strip of fabric which takes away from the tight and uncomfortable seam in the origional pillow.

I cant describe it well but if you check out the todays mom pillow there is a photo of their neck curve section and this pillow is exactly like that at the neck now. It does not dig in to my neck at all.

This pillow also now has a zippered cover for easy removal. The fabric isnt itchy but it does make noise when you move on the pillow. Its not quiet like jersey knit and it is slightly louder than my normal pillow case but not by much.

I havent noticed myself getting hot with this pillow.. A little warmth is to be expected anytime you are covered by anything but i honestly got hotter with all my bed pillows lining my body thani do with this pillow.

I was expecting the pillow to be a little more stuffed.. But then againi i expected it to be stuffed to the brim after seeing the photos of it.. Which it wasnt. It is still just over 8 inches thick however and it is firm.

If you like a soft squishy pillow that wont support you when you lay on it then this isnt the pillow for you. I saw a reviewers photo of the todays mom pillow and even though she was a littler gal her knees were almost touching when she layed with the pillow. I wanted my leg to be proped up so a firmer pillow was required. That being said, ive had the pillow for just over a week now and it is a little less full than it was when it arrived which is ok as i expected that as well. If all pillows flatten a little youd want the firmer one to begin with so its just right once you break it in rather than becoming a pancake!

I am 32 weeks along with my second baby and have been experiencing severe hip pain after a couple hours of sleeping at night. Even if my bladder didnt wake me up id have to get out of bed just to get my hip pain to go away. I also had lower shoulder blade pain that would develop during the day which felt like stabbing in my back due to my rib cage opening up to allow for the growing baby. Since i began sleeping on this pillow, both issues no longer exist!!

I am about 5 foot 5 and this pillow though slightly longer than the origional, only comes to just above my knees if im not laying in the fetal position. I feel it could still be longer. I dont raise my legs up nearly as high as the model in the photo does so i still need to use a pillow at the end of this to prop up the rest of my leg otherwise it causes some tension on my back.

Yes the pillow is big but not as big as i expected it to be. It looks wider in the photos than it really is but it does still take up just over half of a queen size bed. If you lay the pillow across the bed the length of the pillow is about as wide as a queen size bed.

I needed belly support as well as back support which is why i bought this instead of a snoogle. I found myself sleeping on top of the pillow, on my side rather than in the pillow. Laying on my side with my arm under my head on top of the pillow then another pillow under my legs also on top of this pillow, it supports my belly without making my belly to high in the air and it keeps me from laying on my hip so there is no pressure there to cause hip pain. If i have problems breathing then i will let my legs wrap around the pillow so i am still at a slight angle with my head higher than my legs and it helps keep the baby out of my ribs a little.

Even if i do try to sleep with my arm under the pillows head spot and my legs wraped around the pillow, i dont feel like my head is to high up but the head portion does seem to be stuffed a little fuller than the feet of the pillow are.

I have tried to use the pillow with the upside down and the overlaping feet under my head but they feet dont really stay in place well and its hard to get out of with your legs enclosed in the us, though this way to is comfortable.. I think its better for back sleeping in this direction which isnt suggested during pregnancy.

Before i got this pillow i would have pulling on my belly if i slept on my side without a pillow under my belly and if i couldnt breathe well id slant my top shoulder back slightly which would cause my back to ache without support.. This prevents all of that!

I honestly hoped that i wouldnt like this pillow so i could return it to where i bought it because i hated the thought of spending 78 dollars with shipping on a pillow but... Im not returning it as i had so little sleep due to hip pain before getting this pillow. Im really in shock as to how well i have been sleeping now that i have this pillow! Its deffinetly worth the cost and the improvements have taken the cons out of the pillow. If you decide to buy this pillow, give it a week at least befor deciding wether or not you like it. It does take a few trys to find the position that works best for you and it takes a little getting use to but once i did, i couldnt have been more comfortable!

I was nervous to purchase this pillow, based on some other reviews about the seam in the fabric being uncomfortable. I am so glad I ignored those reviews and made the purchase! It is wonderful and has transformed my nights. I've been sleeping with this pillow for about two weeks, and I love it. This is my third pregnancy and through the other two I always had the j-shaped pillow. That was great, but I had to flip it over as I changed sides throughout the night. As I got larger and larger throughout the pregnancy, it became increasingly harder to flip that pillow over (as well as to flip myself over!). With this fantastic, comfortable pillow, you can just roll over and snuggle into the other side all night long. The pillow height is great, and you could always stick another pillow on top of the head support if you wanted to be propped up higher. This pillow is the perfect length for me (5'8"). I love that I can just curl up in it and it supports my head, back, belly and legs. The only con against this pillow is that it's very difficult to get out of the bed at night. I found that lifting the one side over my head and crawling under seems to be the solution. It's sort of cumbersome to try to climb over the top of the pillow and flop off the bed. Also, if you have anything other than a king-sized bed, this pillow might be a little larger than you'd like. My husband and I have plenty of room with the king-sized bed, but we'd be crowded in a queen. I love the removable cover, too. I've already washed it a couple times, and the zipper made it a breeze to get off and on.

My husband bought this pillow for me early on in my pregnancy as I was having a hard time getting comfortable in bed and was getting annoyed with constantly adjusting the pillows behind my back and between my knees. We started researching different types of pregnancy pillows on Amazon and came across this one. The reviews were good and it seemed like the shape of it would solve all of my sleeping issues. That being said, I was a tad concerned about the price. Seemed expensive for some fabric filled with cotton. But since it would be a gift from the hubby he insisted on getting it (I think he also wanted his nights back seeing as my tossing and turning woke him up as well:)

When we received it, I couldn't rip the box open fast enough! I was so excited to try it out. Upon using it I found the pillow to be somewhat stiff at first but after a few nights loosened up nicely where I tended to lay my head more. I immediately slept better just by not having to adjust pillows around me. You lie in the middle and turn from side to side no problem. When I need to get up and use the restroom (which most pregnant women often do:) I move the left "leg" off the bed like I am opening a car door, and get up with no hassle. The "legs" are very easy to maneuver. On many occasions I fold over one leg on top of my belly and place my laptop on it.

I have had this pillow for almost three months and the contoured shaped accommodates my growing belly perfectly. I also catch my hubby snuggling up to it in the middle of the night:) The pillow cover is surprisingly easy, despite it's awkward shape, to remove, wash, and put back on.

Recently the hubby and I went out of town and stayed at a very nice hotel. I had chosen not to bring my pillow with me and paid for it greatly. I tossed and turned all night and was up for good at 4:30 am with no hopes of returning back to sleep because I was so incredibly uncomfortable. Needless to say I was overjoyed to snuggle up to my wonderful pillow the evening we returned home.

*I do have to say that if you are looking for an easy travel pillowthis one isn't too easy, It doesn't fold up well and can be very bulky to pack in the car. BUT I assure you that even though it is bulky...I WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO MAKE ROOM FOR IT WHEN WE TRAVEL. I will honestly NEVER travel without it again. It makes THAT much of a difference.

Bottom line: I don't know where I would be without this pillow. I shutter to think of it! I highly recommend it to every pregnant woman out there looking for some comfort and a good nights' rest. I think it's safe to say that it has helped to make my pregnancy that much more enjoyable for both me and my husband!

I read a lot of reviews and debated this purchase. After several more nights of charlie horses and sore hips due to being six months pregnant, I buckled. It took a little adjustment to figure out how to hug it and have it snug you in, but once I did, I have been sleeping well. It does take up some space in the bed, but we have a king, so it's not too bad. The fabric cover is not a 400 thread count, but it's not scratchy or noisy like I read about some of the other pillows. It is nice to switch sides without knocking over lots of different pillows and easier to get repositioned after getting up.

Bought this for my girlfriend. She had been having some trouble sleeping about halfway through our pregnancy. This really helped. She sleeps longer, deeper, wakes up less, and experiences less soreness. It was a little stiff the first few nights, uncomfortably stiff. After it broke in, it was perfect. These pillows are beautiful, well made and very detailed. From the photo they look to be a thicker knit material, but they are a simple thread embroidered pattern. I purchased these to go with a crimson red ottoman I purchased, and from pictures it looked as if these were red in certain parts of the pattern, however they are orange where it looks red, and brown where it looks black in the photos.

The arrival of this pillow was a nice surprise. It's so soft and well made. I will definately buy another one from this company. Good Job

They're like hotel pillows. I can't tell the difference between real down and synthetic, but these work for me and I don't have any feathers poking me in the face.

I was so excited when i saw this pattern. I had a bedset that was like this and it didnt hold up very well and I had been loking for years for a replacement. I placed my ordered and waiting anxioulsy for the arrival.The day it arrived I opened the package and held it up to look at it my eyes were immediatly drawn to what looked like a discoloration...was it stained was it faded ? Then i noticed the fabric of the cat showing through as well.it was just the way it was put together. I was dissappointed in the quality of the workmanship of this. Although a fair price for the pieces it was still a plenty to pay and expect it to be just a little better made. I loved the texturing on the piece itself. I had read the reviews of the bedspread and it got good feedback. I am still waiting for the bedspread to arrive so hopefully that will be more satisfactory to me. It was not enouugh to want to send it back but for 68.00 expected a little better quality..i quess now i see why handmade quilts are the price they are.

Got this for my wife thinking it would be nice for her to have an ok quilt with cats all over it (my wife loves cats). But when I got it I was very impressed with the quality and my wife just loves it. We have washed it several times now and seems to wash well.

The red was not as deep a red as I was expecting. The back of the pillow was in an even lighter shade and a muslin type fabric -not in keeping with the lushness of the front of the pillow. This is the only pillow like this with the loops, that I was looking for. Disappointed it did not live up to expectations.

Not a bad pillow just not the shade I wanted and disappointed by the fabric on reverse.

My son was the ring bearer. We used this pillow and he (11) brought it up to me. I had tied a bow instead of a knot because I didn't want to fight getting the rings untied. After I got the rings off I held up my hand and he high fived me. It was hilarious. Great pillow
