I have a sleep number bed 5000 and every since I have had it, my back has ached in the morning when I get up. I have tried making it harder for support, but it makes my joints ache. Making it softer, sinks me into a pit. I finally purchased the 5.3 Cloud9 Queen 4 Inch 100% Visco Elastic Memory Foam Mattress Topper, and after a few nights adjusting to it, I do not wake up with a back ache or hip ache anymore. It does not get hot either. Of course, I have a mattress pad over it and I set my sleep number bed to be harder. It makes my bed higher, but that is fine. I love it and am so glad I tried it. I would not part with it now. When it first arrived, I took it out and let it expand for 48 hours. It did smell, but it was not an overcoming smell. Once it was fully inflated and 48 hours later, the smell was gone and there was no odor at all. American Baby Company Quilted Waterproof Cradle Mattress Pad

We have a cradle with an 18x36 inch mattress (2 inches thick). The last pads I bought for this size mattress had to be stretched over the mattress and would bend it because they were too tight. Not these...these mattress pads fit perfectly! They have a thick, quilted top that sits over the mattress and a thinner, stretchy part that you pull around the back. I've washed them several times and they remain in great shape with no rips. The only issue I've had is that the sheets I bought for an 18x36 inch mattress are a bit snug because the pads are somewhat thick.

Pros:

-Very soft and well cushioned without being "puffy" (so the SIDS risk is kept low)

-doesn't make a crinkly sound, despite having waterproof vinyl on the bottom

-waterproof!

-fits standard cradle mattress and is reasonably priced

Cons:

-despite what the washing instructions say, DO NOT PUT THIS IN THE DRYER (or do so at your own risk); you should let it air dry (buy two so that you don't need the one being washed back on the cradle right away). The first time I put this in the dryer (and temperature setting was not hot), it came out with 3-4 small tears in the waterproof vinyl. I taped them closed so that the mattress pad remains waterproof.

The title says it all...

I hadn't even USED the product yet and decided to wash it prior to use. And although I followed the care instructions on the package to a "t", after removing the item from my dryer (yes, setting was on low/delicates) the waterproof backing had completely melted and torn away from the fabric.

Don't waste your money, even if it is $10.00. I may have just received a "dud" but would recommend staying away just in case.

I bought a wooden cradle from a friend but it needed a new mattress. Bought 2" mattress foam at a craft store and cut it to fit the cradle (18" x 36"). Was thinking about how to cover the foam mattress to protect it and make it waterproof. Decided rather than hassling with sewing a cover around the foam, I'd just get 2 of these mattress pads and cover the foam on each side, overlapping the pads. It works great! Makes the foam mattress more comfy for baby, protects it and keeps it waterproof. If baby wets during the night, I take the pad off the side she wet on and just turn the mattress over. These pads are the perfect size for a 2" mattress and they are good quality. I love that the quilted side is 100% cotton. Great price too.

I was thoroughly disappointed to find that the "American Baby Company" cradle sheets and cradle mattress pads I bought were in fact made in China. When I opened the package I could smell the preservatives or something off-gassing. I am not sure that whatever chemical it is will be completely removed by washing, and there is no way I will risk the health of my grandbaby. I am returning these and ordering US-made, chemical-free pads and sheets. Lesson learned.

Seashell Collection Beachside Tapestry Throw Blanket 50" x 60"

Wanted this based on the photo as it showed muted and beige tones and looked quite lovely on the web site, kind of like real seashells on a sandy beach. What I received looked like a throw you would use for Mardi Gras -brash, bright, primary colors in the middle, and the fringe looked like an explosion in a crayon factory with colors so bright there was nothing subtle and beachy about this at all. Totally not what I ordered. After requesting a return, I was initially asked to return the blanket at my expense, but a kind customer service rep emailed a return label after I sent them a photo of the discrepancy in the blanket's colors compared to what the web site pictured. I am thankfully getting a refund and thank them kindly for this. In the meantime, Amazon should take heed and update their photo of this product as it is totally misrepresented and spare future customers from being misled as I was.

I'm very happy with this throw. The colors are a bit darker than what is pictured, but it doesn't make that much difference to me because the true colors match my furniture better than the lighter colors in the item picture. It's heavier than I thought it would be and will make a nice, cozy cover-up for winter when I'm always cold. I'm always cold in air-conditioning, too, so I'm getting good use out of it now when the A/C is on, which isn't that often.

The quality is good and the price is reasonable for the size of the throw and how well-made it is. I'd like to find a pillow to match it, that's how much I like it.

COOLING TEMPERATURE REGULATING PILLOWS-STANDARD

This pillow is my "buddy". After going through breast cancer, chemo and then having to take Tamoxifen, it put me into menopause early. I wasn't ready for the night sweats and hot flashes. I wasn't sleeping well and waking through the night. I saw these pillows on Dr. Oz and thought why not? I ordered one and delivery was quick.

It doesn't totally keep you cool but it definitely helps cool the night sweats and hot flashes faster. I would recommend it to any cancer survivors on Tamoxifen and going through menopause.

This pillow does nothing to give you a cool sleep. My head sweats as much as ever. I knew this was going to be the case when I saw the tag 100% Polyester Fiber. Hello. Polyester does not breathe. This pillow is a total waste of money.

Grace 4 Piece Crib Bedding Set by Banana Fish

We purchased this bedding set for our baby boy two years ago. I didn't want the typical, cheap, boy-themed colors and designs and saw this online and loved it! I thought the colors were neutral and beautiful and very classy so we spent the almost $600 to get the set along with the matching teddy bear mobile.

After ordering, however, it took a very long time to receive the bedding from the seller. When I purchased it, there was no mention that it was backordered and it took 6-8 weeks for it to be delivered. By the time it arrived, I was so big and lethargic, it made it difficult for me to set it all up on my own. I washed all of it as soon as it came and didn't realize how wrinkly the fabric for the dust ruffle would get. It took hours to iron out all the wrinkles so please keep this in mind. You may want to skip washing that piece!

It looked great all set up, but the ties on the bumper were a bit too short to easily wrap around our thicker style crib bars so we weren't able to tie bows but rather short tight knots with hardly any leftover tie visible. It took away a bit from the overall look since I'd have rather had the bow look. The baby blanket that came with the set is very small and hardly useable. It served merely as a decor piece for the room. The picture makes it look like it's larger, but I think they hung it unevenly on the crib rail to make it look longer. It's fuzzy on one side, but not a fuzzy that is comfortable for a baby or anyone else. The fuzzy side is more of a rough, allergic-reaction inducing type fuzzy that if licked or anything else a baby will do to a blanket, it will leave a trace of short fabric hairs all over the mouth. I wasn't a fan at all and it only ever hung on his crib rail like in the picture. The musical teddy bear mobile was useful to help soothe my son for naps and night time sleep, but the way it attached to the rail scracthed our crib and I was very very careful to try to keep it from doing so. There was just no way around it scratching up the finish on the crib unless you you had a special fitted fabrc piece to lay over the crib first. The teddy bears were ok-looking, but overall I'd say the mobile was overpriced for what you get. The bears were sort of cheap and not that cute, but I like that it had the same fabric as the bedding on the arm and unbrella.

Overall, I loved the design, color, and print of the fabric but for the price I think it should have been more than just beautiful, it should also have been functional!

I washed it and dried it and it didn't shrink. It fit my queen pillow top bed fine. I dried it in the dryer and put it on once it stretched over the bed it looked fine. Feels good on, took some getting use to. Wasn't as soft as I would like but it was the first wash and I am sure it will get softer. I would definitely get another set. The material is thicker than most bed sheets these days. Very comfortable and breathable. Slightly wrinkled but once on the bed not noticeable. If you leave it in the drying without pulling it out and folding it, it will be a wrinkled mess.

Today is 9/6/12 and my sheets arrived quickly, as promised, on Amazon Prime. Today, I washed them as instructed, and dried on a low setting. They came out of the drier very wrinkled. You can almost describe it as shriveled. I'll be putting them to the test for several nights, and will get an update here. One minor thing to note: The product description states "The distressed stripe pattern on one side and solid color on the other complement each other". The stripe pattern is on both sides of this set, although a slightly different hue. I'm giving them 3 stars.

Update 9/7/12. Well, I slept on these sheets last night, and I have to say...that it was like sleeping on a bumpy, puckered mess. Imagine sleeping on a large orange peel with that kind of texture. So, I washed again on gentle, and even added a quality fabric softener. Once I pulled them the washer, I was excited. The sheets were flat and smooth. I dried them on my lowest setting, and even finished with an air fluff. ARRRGGG!! They came out all puckered again. I will try ironing them and will post again in a couple of days. I wish I could change my rating to 2 stars.

Last update 9/11/12. I'm done fighting with these sheets. I washed on a cold gentle cycle and dried on a very low heat setting two times and ironed the bottom sheet once, and they are still puckered. My chiropractor recommends this petite size for women and children. I am 5'2" but NOT petite and this is the perfect size for me. It took me a few nights to get used to this pillow and I kept going back to my other one throughout the night but after a week and half now of using only this one I have noticed a big difference. I used to get shoulder pain during the night and sometimes my hands would tingle but this pillow has helped with both of those issues. Make sure you use it correctly, though! The middle area is for sleeping on your back and the sides are for when you are sleeping on your side. This my 5th CORE PRODUCT Pillow ... and it's NOT because they wear out.

I will not enumerate the MANY reasons I LOVE this pillow -many other reviews do this already. Instead, I will explain why I KEEP COMING BACK for MORE.

My FIRST Core Pillow was a D-Core that I received from a chiropractor. It changed my sleeping life for the BETTER. It was only later, when I LOST my pillow that I realized that there were MUCH BETTER pillows by the same company.

My SECOND Core Pillow is the same as this item, a TRICORE, only STANDARD SIZE. In TRUTH, it was TOO BIG for me. I STILL RECEIVED the BENEFITS that TriCore pillows offer, ONLY I found myself WAKING TO ADJUST the placement of my pillow when I turned on my side to sleep. The side walls were too far away for me to just turn over onto them. Alas, I lost this pillow, too, in a move but I came to find out it was for the better!

My THIRD and FOURTH Core Pillows were also TRICORE, and ordered at the same time. I was DELIGHTED to discover this pillow came in THREE DIFFERENT SIZES, so a smaller, BETTER FITTING version was available. My ONLY CONCERN was which size to choose; MIDCORE or PETITE. So, I went with both. I STILL USE BOTH of these pillows. I started out with the MIDCORE as my PRIMARY pillow. However, I STILL woke OCCASIONALLY when switching from back to side sleeping. I started using an additional squishy pillow either on top or underneath the TriCore to get MOST COMFORTABLE. Finally, I pulled the PETITE SIZE out of storage and TRIED IT. I was a little wary because it seemed SO SMALL. I was STUCK on the idea that a pillow should be a certain size. Luckily, I was proven wrong. The pillow "FITS" my head. Instead of WAKING and ADJUSTING my pillow when I TURNED from my BACK to my SIDE, I simply turn WITHOUT WAKING. It's GREAT!!! My only regret is not recognizing that SIZE DOES MATTER, and this pillow is made in THREE DIFFERENT SIZES for a reason.

My FIFTH and MOST RECENT Core Pillow Purchase is the PETITE TRICORE. I was OUT OF TOWN for an extended period of time, and FORGOT TO BRING my pillow. I tried to hang in there, but the HEADACHES, SHOULDER and NECK PAIN were too consistent to ignore.

My ONE COMPLAINT is that it feels a LITTLE AWKWARD when I lay on my BACK. The top of my head hits EXTENDS SLIGHTLY outside the "cradle-area" and when I'm restless, this really draws my attention.

Bottom Line: I recommend the Core Tricore Pillow, but choose your size wisely.

"Cloudz" Microbead Neck Pillow

This is a very good neck pillow for traveling. The clip at the front is really useful you can clip it around the handle of your bag, or around your neck when you sleep so that it doesn't slip off. I like to turn the part with the clip around to the back of my neck when I use it: that way there's no bulk there to push my head forward when I'm sitting plus there's support under my chin keeping my head from flopping forward. The microbeads let you adjust the pillow to fit against a plane window, on the tray table, or around your neck. Foam neck pillows aren't as easy to adjust. The plush topper on one side of this pillow is very soft. The only downsides to this pillow are the same downsides that every microbead neck pillow has: it takes up a lot of space and it's not really washable. You can only spot-clean it. I wish this pillow came with some sort of case or traveling bag to keep it from getting dirty while it was clipped to my luggage. By the way, I've seen this brand in the airport for $15 or two for $20.

I bought two of these, for myself and my mom. I havent used it much but my mom loves hers. So much so that she even uses it at home sometimes when her neck hurts. I used it recently on a long flight and it was very comfortable. I especially find the locking button feature on this pillow very useful. It does keep the pillow from slipping away when asleep and the soft velvet side of the pillow is very welcoming. Its also easy to carry around because of the locking button. I walk around the airport with it clasped around my handbag. I really find this pillow useful and comfortable and a good buy.

Egyptian Cotton 1200 Thread Count Sheet Set with Striped Pattern

I ordered what was supposed to be 1000 ct Egyptian Cotton sheets. What I received was a set of inferior microfiber sheets. Not only are they not 1000 thread count, they are not Egyptian cotton, they are not cotton at all. The have a sticker that that says "Cotton" placed over the word "microfiber" on the product tag. The product tag says made in China, genuine EC sheets have a label stating thread count, too. I have at least a dozen sets from different manufacturers and the labels are consistent. These sheets are garbage with frayed seams and you can see right through them. I donated them to the VA Vet's pick up. I knew that something was wrong when the sheets came in a hand addressed envelope in the mail and the package weight under 2 lbs. These are Cal king size and true 1000 ct Egyptian cotton sheets would have a substantial weight to them and have to be shipped/delivered outside is the USPS. You have been warned, stick to a reputable vendor and avoid ordering from these people. I leaned my lesson.

We purchased two sheet sets from this vendor both 1000TC, one set gold damask stripe, the other solid brown. Both sets are outstanding. The fabric is really nice. It's a fairly thick heavy cotton it's actually comparable to flannel, but without the sticky furry feel. The fabric is soft but crisp. It washes just fine in the washer. There is elastic all the way around on the fitted sheet.

The gold is a very warm color on the orangy side. The brown is best described as pastel brown sort of a chocolate mousse or latte color. It's very pretty. We are very happy with both sets of sheets.

Goes really well with my dark cherry wood entryway bench. I use them more for deco than as actual pillows. However they have a nice feel and are very full of filling so I imagine they would be comfy to use as well...

These are decorative pillows and to me at least they are beautiful. They are very soft, so not designed for lumbar support. But if you like this style and these colors I think you would be happy with these as decorative pillows for a couch or bed or chair. The colors as seen in the photo on the product page are just what they look like. The background is an off white or light cream color. The decorative elements are stamped not embroidered. The different shades of blue and green are well suited to the other colors on the pillow. The fabric itself feels and looks almost like linen. I paid $15 for two pillows and I couldn't be more pleased.
