It comes delivered in a large box and requires assembly. The assembly process appears intimidating at first but is actually pretty simple.

You will need a power drill to help with the screws or your wrists will get tired as heck screwing all the screws directly into the wood without holes pre-drilled. It took about 45 mins to assemble without a drill.

After putting my mattress on it and trying it out, it made a significant difference in my digestive problems. The incline is enough to affect your digestion but not so inclined that it feels different to sleep on. In my opinion it's actually more comfortable to sleep on a gradual incline like this and wont bother your partner.

Either way if you have stomach problems that get worse when you lay down, and get better when you sit up or stand, this box spring is a MUST have.

The gentle angle of this Twin-size, Incline Box Spring has given a gratifying level of relief to the acid-reflux sufferer of our home. Perfect angle!! Hurray!! (Sure beats sliding off foam wedges or struggling with piled up pillows! Enough of that already!)

The box spring came with an excellent cloth cover, which fits exactly as it should and looks good. The box spring itself is sturdy. We were a bit dumbfounded, though, not to find a word of directions...no diagrams...no picture of what the assembled product should look like. No nothing! But we got online (not always a given), found a picture on Amazon, and then the person whose bed it is figured the rest out. She had it put together, all set up and bed made (with my minimal help) in under an hour from cracking the box open. We didn't have a power screw driver, but our wrists did manage to recover from screwing all those screws into the frame.

And yes, I have sent a comment to the company regarding that peculiar lack of ordinary, helpful paperwork.

Details:

A good quality wrench was included and a couple of extra screws and two extra bolts with their nuts and washers besides, for those of us with butter-fingers. The only tool needed which they didn't send was the Phillips-type screwdriver. Not a problem. The wood (spruce) was surprisingly nice, most of it reasonably smooth, in no way excessively splintery, so we didn't need the gloves I had at the ready just in case.

Before ordering through Amazon, I'd searched online for the Box Spring King company itself and then called asking for details (including precise dimensions) not shown on Amazon.

Talked with an excellent customer rep: He said the twin spring dimensions are 37 1/2" by 74" long, and that the head of the bed is 10" high and the foot is 6" high. He answered all my questions and also told me the wood used is spruce. Also, I believe he said the order would take 2 to 3 weeks--longer than Amazon's automatic prediction.

Shipping took two and a half weeks, so he was right. Though it was shipped out within only a few days from east Canada, it got hung up at the international border. Once it was released it had to make it from NE USA to the West Coast--which went smoothly. So all that was okay. We were given a tracking number with FedEx, and could see what had happened and track its travels.

The end of the story is that this Incline Box Spring was well worth the wait! Most of us know that a good night's rest is priceless.

Update after about a month of use: Would give this ten stars if I could...Even just witnessing improved health morning by morning is an excellent thing!

I suffer from GERD aka heart burn, therefore i need something like this. I had always just put thick phone books under the legs near the head of the bed. however after i recently bought a house and some really nice furniture, I couldn't do that anymore or it would just look too silly. this product is one of the few that I found that does the trick without having to elevate the legs of the bed. in terms of heart burn, it actually works well. the head of the boxspring is 4 inches higher (for cal-king sized bed). the set up was very easy with power tools, i think a wrench is included for the bolts, total set up time was probably less than 15 minutes. I've used it for about 2 months and have been happy.

why ony 4 stars? for one thing, I thought it should have more slats. i thought the gap in between each slat was a little too wide. so overall i don't feel this is as good for my mattress as a normal boxspring would be. therefore for this reason, I also thought the price was a little high. but i can't complain too much about this since most boxsprings cost almost as much and this is a rather unique product. secondly, and this is minor the shipping was rather slow. thirdly, i thought that the head of the boxspring was rather high; it was higher than the original boxspring. if you get this, make sure you get the dimensions for your size so you know exactly what to expect.

My son LOVES this bedding! I got the sheet set and also the comforter. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the quality was, especially because it is "character" bedding which can be rough. Not at all in this case! It is definitely more "silky" feeling and really comfortable. I tuck them under the mattress when I make his bed and haven't found they move around too much. I love that the pillow case is Bumblebee on one side and on the opposite side is Optimus Prime. I was worried it would just be one or the other and my son likes them both, so it's fun to switch them. My Brest Friend Pregnancy Wedge, Sunburst

I own two of the other pregnancy wedge pillows from the other company that starts with a B and is "toppy" in some folks minds. Anyway, this pillow is wider and the edge is flatter/sharper than those other ones so it covers more surface area. I think the lift is slightly less thick as the other one but I don't think it will make much difference. The other one mushes down and crushed a bit where this one has not yet. Both are fine pillows. I just think this one offers more flexibility for different sizes and shapes. I am a huge fan of the Brest Friend products. I breast fed my daughter for 15 months and I can say without reservation and with absolute confidence that Brest Friend is just hands down better than the other brand. I took a breast feeding class offered by the hospital before my daughter was born. The NICU nurses and lactation consultants who taught it had piles of the Brest friend pillows for everyone to try. They were crystal clear about the fact that they do not recommend or endorse the other one because it just doesn't hold a candle to the Brest Friend pillow for moms serious about breastfeeding. The only people I know who liked the other brand failed at breastfeeding for various reasons or only made it a couple days/weeks (so not exactly pros or able to give reliable recommendations on these items long-term). I'm sure some love the other brand and are loyal (they do have cuter covers for the pillows -but after all -that's not what counts). I'm sticking with what the pros recommend and what I know first hand was a fantastic brand/item and a real lifesaver. This pillow is of equally impressive quality.

This worked for those first few weeks of discomfort with a growing belly, but once I was 24 weeks, this no longer helped. It's kind of small and didn't give enough support. Pregnant check. Uncomfortable laying down check. I finally bought this wedge at about 20 weeks, when I decided that I needed *something* to prop up my tummy, but a regular pillow was way too thick. I didn't even look at these in the store first; I bought based on Amazon reviews. Someone said the thin edge of this wedge is thinner than others, so I went for it. It's a remarkably small product (maybe you won't be surprised, if you've seen these before), but it's amazing at its job. (Also, I'm not a small girl 5'9", not thin, just in case you're looking for a comparison before you buy!)

It's easy to put the wedge into position, and I honestly don't feel like there's anything under my tummy when I'm falling asleep. And yet, I'm no longer uncomfortable, so I'm clearly being supported. Awesome.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that this little wedge has a zip-off slip cover. The plastic zipper is around the wide edge (doesn't get in the way). It's a nice feature, and I'm not sure why they don't mention the zipper in the description or show it in the picture.

so I bought this after a lot of people on my babycenter.com birth board suggested a wedge instead of a full on pillow I was REALLY excited about the prospect of not having as much hip pain when I lay on my sides, as suggested by the doctors when you're expecting.

The product arrived in record time thanks to a Prime account, and is a nice shape, but it's just a flimsy cut of foam. It is not very strong, very firm or anything. The more towards the end you get that is straight, the thinner the foam, thus... less protection/comfort. While it holds my growing belly just fine, I still have to turn it with me every time I turn over, and I still get really sore hips from laying on my sides so much.

All in all this product TECHNICALLY does what it's supposed to It props my growing belly up so I can be a bit more comfortable in bed, but it doesn't get the job done when I have to keep switching sides because my hips hurt. I'm currently hunting down a memory foam wedge that might help!

UPDATE: 2/15/12 I am now 16 weeks along and carrying a giant baby... I look much farther along than I am, or that this is NOT my first pregnancy! haha... so I've been having some issues getting comfy with the belly over the last few weeks so I thought I would try the wedge again. It's just been laying on my bedroom floor by the bed and I've tried it again several times to no avail. As my belly is getting bigger it sure does support my bump from hanging, thus my back muscles from straining some... but it props my whole upper body backwards so I'm halfway on my back! So not worth the money, or the trouble I keep suffering when I try to use it again hoping I've gotten far along enough that it'll actually be supportive. Nope! So sorry.

I called the company and told them I only received one pillow case and should have gotten two. They said it was amazon who had it listed wrong, basically not their problem. "Cloudz" Microbead Neck Pillow

This is a very good neck pillow for traveling. The clip at the front is really useful you can clip it around the handle of your bag, or around your neck when you sleep so that it doesn't slip off. I like to turn the part with the clip around to the back of my neck when I use it: that way there's no bulk there to push my head forward when I'm sitting plus there's support under my chin keeping my head from flopping forward. The microbeads let you adjust the pillow to fit against a plane window, on the tray table, or around your neck. Foam neck pillows aren't as easy to adjust. The plush topper on one side of this pillow is very soft. The only downsides to this pillow are the same downsides that every microbead neck pillow has: it takes up a lot of space and it's not really washable. You can only spot-clean it. I wish this pillow came with some sort of case or traveling bag to keep it from getting dirty while it was clipped to my luggage. By the way, I've seen this brand in the airport for $15 or two for $20.

I bought two of these, for myself and my mom. I havent used it much but my mom loves hers. So much so that she even uses it at home sometimes when her neck hurts. I used it recently on a long flight and it was very comfortable. I especially find the locking button feature on this pillow very useful. It does keep the pillow from slipping away when asleep and the soft velvet side of the pillow is very welcoming. Its also easy to carry around because of the locking button. I walk around the airport with it clasped around my handbag. I really find this pillow useful and comfortable and a good buy.

What a regrettable purchase. The lapdesk looks unbelievably cheap, the "metal" parts were literally rubbing off right out of the box. There were so many threads hanging off the fabric that it was next to impossible to unzip it to insert batteries. The plastic battery holder had come unglued from the backing, and the flexible metal lamp piece kept falling out of the hole. The light did NOT work with brand new batteries, and has no plastic or glass covering the actual bulbs. Worst of all, there is NO included manufacturer info or warranty/ instructions. No address or phone number, NOTHING for "Thinktank Technology". I even Googled the company and came up empty-handed. This company clearly doesn't want to be located...and for that, I can hardly blame them! Terrible product, save your time, money & frustration!

The laptop desk are made very cheap, the light quit working and fell off only days after I recieved it. Would not recommend.

This item was too small for a regular sized laptop. Outer dimensions are 16" wide by 13" deep and that includes the cup holder , pencil holder and the LED light that sticks out. The distance from the bottom of the cup holder to the base of the unit is 8 1/2" and the distance from the cup holder to the left side of the unit is 10 1/2", that is what I would consider usable workspace, which isn't much. If you have one of those little 7" to 10" net books from Acer or someone else this will probably work fine but if you have a 14" to 17" laptop, forget it. What a waste of $20.

Very disappointing. So cheaply made it's unbelievable anyone would sell this. The light didn't work and even if it did there was no way for it to stand. When contacting seller about dissatisfaction and wanting to return product. They said don't bother returning and credited my account. Also, totally agree with what others have said about product. If I had seen this cushion at a retail store priced more than $2.00, I would have passed it up as overpriced. As it is, I paid $25, with shipping. It does stay on the stool pretty well, but it looks like a fabric-covered soft drink cap. I'd return it to StacksandStacks, but the return shipping would cost more than the cushion is worth.

This pad really, truly softens my stool--that's why I bought 2. Before they arrived my stools were astoundingly hard. I hated them. They were so hard that when they arrived it even hurt getting them out. While beautiful, the stools were bumpy and rough. Sitting down for breakfast was like torture: leaning over I would wince and yelp just trying to move my bowls. Bowl movement was nearly impossible before these stool softeners arrived. Now my bowl movements don't hurt at all! I can easily move bowls full of cereal or even corn thanks to these stool softeners. The light brown color is also a plus--my formerly all brown stools have really been brightened up. All in all, if you need to soften your stools and you value quality, these are absolutely the stool softeners for you!

Cloud b Plush Aroma Pillow Sleep Aid

It's a cute and soft "pillow". It looks more like a flat stuffed sheep. The lavender smell is too strong for me so I took the pouch out, which is good that you can remove it if you want to. I put it on the crib and he won't have anything to do with it, he's 18 mons so maybe when he gets older he will? not sure, if he doesn't then this must be the most expensive stuffed animal he'll have.

Update: My toddler is 21 months old now and loves his pillow. He uses it now every night to sleep, so finally not a total waste of money :)

Our 7 month old, Kai, doesn't sleep at night. We have gotten him several baby sleep aids and this Cloud B Aroma Pillow is among the winners. The natural lavender scent is nice and calming, not too strong not too weak. According to the pamphlet, the scent lasts up to five years. The Sea Turtle came with a handy dandy pillow case, which fell apart immediately. The actual plush is not washable, just wipe-able. My only reason for giving four instead of five stars. I will probably try to wash it anyway. You can take the plush animal part off of the lavender pillow part. Eventually, everything Kai sleeps with smells like formula, and he has been gnawing on the flippers... so it will need washing. We have been using this turtle for a month now and it helps him to stay asleep longer. The pillow is positioned to the side of his head, since he is too young to use it like an actual pillow, but it still seems to work. A few times that I have been unable to fall asleep, I have put this thing in front of my face and fallen asleep easily.

I actually bought this pillow for myself. It's very soft and adorable and I love it. Here are my issues with it, although small. When you close it up, there is so much padding inside that its really hard and looks like it will pop open at any moment, plus I am afraid the little velcro tab will rip off if i keep it folded up since it is so tight. I bought this pillow for my two-year old several months ago. There are several reasons why I don't like it:

1) It's annoying to have a big sheep head on the top of the pillow. When she lays down on it, her head ends up being propped up by the sheep at a funny angle.

2) The pillow inside is really, really cheap. It isn't good quality and I wish my daughter were sleeping on a better quality pillow

3) Because it's a special pillow case, it's annoying to wash. Both because of the huge sheep head and because we only have one pillow case. I wish I had purchased a higher quality pillow and two pillow cases to go with it.

4) The worst part of all is that since my daughter is used to it, and two-year-olds are all about ritual and routine, I basically can't take it away from her. I have tried to give her a different pillow and she won't go to sleep.

I gave it two stars because it is a cute pillow... and my daughter does like it... and I personally like the lavender smell. (Also, you can take the lavender out if you don't like it.)

I first saw this pillow in a gift shop on a trip to the zoo and liked it because of it's size. My husband had bought a pillow pet, but it was just too large for a 19 month old. She did wake up twice around 10 or 11 pm, but was not fussy and went back to sleep very, very quickly. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but I wouldn't trade this pillow. The nights before this pillow arrived she fussed and didn't want to go to sleep, and has always hated being in her bed. Last night, with the pillow, she went to bed calmly and actually layed herself down and went to sleep. Such a change for the better. I need one for myself because I keep waking up at 5 am wondering if she's okay because she has been too quiet. :) Love it!

Sleep Innovations Contour Travel Pillow

One of the annoyances of traveling is when the pillow in the hotel room doesn't suit me, and I realized it on the following day when I had strained neck--probably way too tired on the night before to realize that. So I had to bear with the discomfort on my neck in the next few days. That's enough to make my vacation less fun.

I tried this travel pillow last week and felt happy that this pillow suits me well.

+ Great foam material. It allows my head to sink in a little bit, and support my neck comfortably.

+ Perfect contour for back sleeper as well as side sleeper. I tried both ways and the pillow felt equally great.

+ The two 'bulges' are not of the same size so it's easy to choose the one that fits the neck/shoulder well.

+ The white sleeve is removable and machine-washable.

+ Compact size. It easily fits in a cabin luggage along with clothes and other stuff. This pillow can even be compressed in a vacuum zip bag to save more space.

+ This pillow can be used for other functions, such as back support.

And just one drawback:

Possibly too narrow for some people.

As soon as I ripped this out of the vine box I immediately set about testing this pillow. Since the idea of a memory foam pillow is pretty fun to the rest of my family, I had a few other people test it out when I wasn't looking.

What everyone loved about this pillow was that it was so comfortable to lay on & against. I rather liked the way the pillow was contoured since I'm always folding up parts of my pillow in order to support my neck. Others weren't as fond of this & chose to lay the pillow sideways since they didn't really care for anything under their neck.

Something that people were a little varied on was the softness. I like a firmer pillow, so this was a little too soft for my tastes but my mother liked how soft it was since it gave more under the weight of her head. I found that putting a firmer pillow under the travel pillow helped as far as firmness goes if you're laying against a bed. Of course when I was lying against a wall or a chair the pillow was much more firm feeling without having to put another pillow behind it. (I figured I'd say this since I know some will end up using this as a pillow at a hotel. I know some people who dislike using the hotel's stuff.)

The one thing I was disappointed with was that this didn't react in the way that I expected memory foam to react. I'm used to memory foam molding to fit whatever is rested against it & holding an imprint for anywhere from 3-10 seconds. This pillow doesn't really react that way. It's still obviously memory foam but it felt more like a regular pillow than another memory foam pillow I have. This does actually work a little in its favor since it springs back into form, making it less likely that the pillow will get & remain "squished" when you lay against it. (But it also means that it wasn't as head hugging as I'd like, but I'll take that over a flat pillow.)

Overall this is a pretty good pillow & one that I believe people will really enjoy on long trips. It's a good size & the cover it comes with is nice & soft.

Pillow is a little large for travel, and doesn't have a "case" with it, so you have to find a place to store it getting on/off planes. That's the only downside.

However it does squish down (flat) and fit in the front pocket of my carryon bag. It also works great in a spacebag if you need to haul it around after your flight.

The foam isn't traditional "dense" memory foam, it is softer and very lightweight-which makes it ideal for travel b/c it's not heavy.

Very comfortable, and wide enough to use in a hotel room if you need to.

I have a Sleep Innovations memoryfoam pillow from Target that has held up well for 3 years, so I am hoping this one will too.

Overall great product, if you can find a place to store it.

I already use a larger version of this pillow on my bed at home. It is great for providing neck support. This travel pillow is half the length of the full-sized bed pillow. It has a nice, soft, washable cover.

I think it would be useful for sleeping in the car (preferably not while driving!). It would probably be great on a plane too, but since I don't check luggage I wouldn't take it on a plane because it would use up too much of my carry-on space. (When I compressed and rolled up the pillow, it was about the size of a large loaf of bread.) For people who check most of their luggage and don't take much on the plane, this could be worth taking aboard in order to increase the chance of sleeping on the flight and perhaps sleeping more comfortably in an unfamiliar bed. I'll use mine on long car trips.

Lewis N. Clark Mood Neck Pillow

This silly looking little pillow is wonderful. It holds the head of a napping passenger at just the right angle to snooze, while keeping the neck from getting stiff and hurting when the person wakes up. I started buying these kinds of "donut with a bite missing" pillows about twenty years ago, and got some very strange looks when I used the pillows on long plane flights. Now I see that many travel warriors carry them, and that they are becoming common on long car trips as well. That's terrific.

This particular pillow is very comfortable, with lightweight foam beads inside a thin covering. The covering allows the beads to shift when the user moves their head slightly, so it will be more comfortable than a pillow that doesn't give. Also, the foam beads are much, much lighter than the solid memory foam or buckwheat hulls that I have found in other such pillows. It doesn't feel much heavier than an inflatable pillow, and is much nicer than one, because the foam beads don't make the crinkling noise associated with a plastic inflatable pillow.

The downside is that the thin cloth covering, which allows the beads to move freely, doesn't look very durable. If given to a young child, I would bet that the back seat of the car would be full of foam beads in about three seconds. Happily, I am not a young child, and have used this very comfortable pillow for many months with no problems whatsoever. It comes with a vinyl case, in which I store the pillow when not in use, avoiding the tears and damage associated with being thrown in the trunk. Otherwise, it gets no gentle treatment from me. If it does begin to tear, I plan to put the whole pillow in a nylon stocking as a quick/cheap repair, so I won't get little balls of foam all over my car. But for now, I'll enjoy the pillow for allowing me to snooze the miles away when it's my husband's turn to drive.

A very long over seas trip, economy class, YIKES! This neck pillow was awesome. Much softer and more comfortable than the blow ups. Well worth the money!

We used one of these on our trip to Brazil. The flight was long and sleeping on an airplane is never comfortable, especially with one's head lolling about.

We had two kinds of pillow: this one and two inflatables we had been given as a "going on vacation present". The inflatables were more supportive and were adjustable depending on how much air you wanted in them. The Lewis N. Clark pillow was just squishy and, admittedly, a stress reliever when playing with it in your hands whilst waiting for hours upon missing one's flight. :)

I've had the worst time finding pillows for my neck. I was in a car accident in '95 and received a pretty bad case of whiplash. At least for me, this pillow forms to my neck and is soft enough on the back of my head (I've also had multiple brain surgeries) so it doesn't cause a problem that way. It's also summer now, and I'm finding that it's not too hot. I do wish it had a place to put a small gel packet for ice or heat, but we can't have everything now can we? This is just about as perfect as it gets though. I'm so glad I bought it. I'm buying a second one just in case the first one gets a hole, or something catastrophic happens to it. My luck I wouldn't be able to find one again.
