Slept in the Hilton in downtown Chicago and I just had to know what it was I was sleeping on, a cloud? Tore off the pillow cases and WA-la Pacific Pillows. Got home 2 days later and ordered them online which was Monday Labor Day. Had them on my bed by Thursday and I have had nothing but a wonderful night sleep ever since. I am so thrilled with these pillows. If you like a firm pillows, these are not for you, if you like sleeping on a cloud, buy them. Next up is the complete bed set for Christmas............hubby dear, open the wallet! Can't say enough about them but they're AWESOME!

I never write reviews, but I'm very disappointed in this product. The best nights of sleep I've ever had are when I stay at a Hilton Hotel, so I bought these pillows. They are NOTHING like the ones they have at the Hiltons where I've stayed.

The first night of sleep was great! The pillows were soft and supportive and I slept really well. After about 2 nights though, the pillows were completely deflated. Now there is no support or structure at all, and it's basically like sleeping on the mattress without a pillow. I'd like to think that it's just a fluke, but I know I'll go back to buying department store pillows. Such a waste of my money!!

I initially purchased this duvet set believing that this would be of a superior quality 1200 thread count set. However, upon receiving the set, I realized the quality was even worse (rougher and thinner) than my 200 thread count set, and so I decided to do a little research on my own.

Thread count is a technical term that stands for the number of threads woven together in a square inch. For example, 100 lengthwise threads woven with 100 widthwise threads produce a thread count of 200. Usually, anything above 200 thread counts is considered a better quality product.

According to Consumer Reports, a thread count of 200 is fine; 400 may be softer. But counts such as 800 or 1200 are not quite possible. When a manufacturer claims a super high thread count, such as 1200 thread count (that is, fitting 1200 threads together within 1 square inch), they count not just each thread, but each fiber that make up each thread. Using creative counting methods, a 200 thread count set suddenly becomes a 1200 thread count set. This is technically illegal, since thread count in the US must follow strict federal standards. In fact, Bed, Bath & Beyond was investigated by the Federal Trade Commission for misrepresenting thread count and eventually settled the lawsuit in 2008 by offering refunds to customers.

Back to this particular item. This set is certainly not 1200 thread count and probably just barely under 200 thread count since it's even rougher than my set from IKEA. The set has no labels or care instructions. Therefore, the item probably wasn't properly imported into the US. Hope this review helps.

I ordered one duvet a month ago. I liked the duvet and decided to order another one. To my surprise, I received a different product this time. The quality of this duvet does not like 1200 thread count. It might be OK to use, but I start to question their services and honesty now.

I got this thinking that I was going to get a shiny, silky looking (like shown on the photo) Duvet cover. In reality the material is dull and I do not believe for a second that this is 1200 thread count. As for saving over $300, in reality it should say we are extorting you by 300% +. It's crap. It is like cheap sheets they use in hospitals. So if you want to relive bad hospital experiences, then this is for you.

Oh and for the record. This premium sheet set does not even have a label of any kind on it, let alone washing instructions (High end stuff does)

I'm not sure if I received the same 1200 Thread Count Egyptian Cotton Duvet as the others with 4 and 5 star reviews. The one I got is more like 250 thread count, and question if 100% egyptian cotton. I wanted to replace an Ikea duvet cover with a nicer one but they are the same quality and feel.

I bought the duvet cover after reading all the great reviews, it arrived quickly and the cover looked nice in the package--except that it looked completely different from the one shown in picture (patterned rather than solid white), and right out of the bag it had the strange 'powdery' feeling to it that usually indicates a cheap sheet/cover. I thought the problem would be gone after washing but it got worse, the powdery feeling was still there and it also became very rough and scratchy, which made me doubt if it was really made from egyptian cotton. Does not worth $70.

Vintage Treasure Quilted Bedspread

This bedspread is very pretty. The head of the bedspread that covers the pillows is plain, so I am glad I ordered the shams and would highly recommend spending the extra money for them. I washed the bedspread in warm water and dried it in the dryer. It did shrink a little bit--probably an inch or two. That was actually OK, because it was dragging on the floor. But, if I would have been thinking, I would have washed it first in cold water. So, make sure you put it on your bed before washing it! And use cold water if you don't want it to shrink (it is cotton). I am not one to purchase on-line, but I'm really glad I did!

This quilted bedspread is really quite pretty. However, as soon as I took it out of the plastic bag, I was overwhelmed by a smell similar to that of machine oil. It was so caustic that my eyes teared. I washed it, following the directions and using a full level of laundry detergent. When the wash and rinse cycle were finished, the bedspread still had that terrible smell. I am in the process of washing the bedspread for a second time, just hoping that with repeated washings the bedspread will lose its eye-watering, odorous vapor without showing signs of wear.

Kikkerland Log Micro Bead Head Cushion

This is a really cute little pillow! The photorealistic fabric is a stretchy spandex material and feels kind of like silky ladies tights. It is filled with those microbeads that make a little bit crinkly sound if you're resting your head or neck on it. It is filled quite full to hold the log shape so it is fairly firm and doesn't have a lot of give; it may then push your head/neck a little too far forward to your chin, even when laying down. For that reason, this pillow might be better strictly as a decorator piece.

The beads in this pillow make it very comfortable, and it's also surprisingly durable given how soft the exterior fabric feels. To show you how durable it is, I thought it would make a good camping pillow for our daughter so we can say she's really roughing it by sleeping on a log. Comfort and convenience are the words that describe my memory foam travel size pillow. The pillow is durable and very easy to clean. In the past I have dealt with pillows whose seams inevitably rip and have miniature foam balls spill from their holes (embarrassing on the airplanes and those miniature balls are also noisy when they are squeaking right next to your ear). I have also been puzzled by why many so travel pillows have been lacking a pillow case when we all know it will look dingy after gathering oil and sweat from our heads. What a brilliant idea to have a removable cover to be able to throw in the wash!

It also helps me correct my neck posture ( I have a long neck and tend to hold my head too far forward.)The chiropractor recommended I sleep with one for two hours a night. I find myself so comfortable that I sleep with my head on it for the entire eight hours. My kids like it too.

Plane rides can be unsettling and uncomfortable depending on the distance. For YEARS I'd been talking about getting myself a neck pillow for travel but could not decide which to buy. Many pillows require you to blow them up for use and, although I that would allow for ease of use and compact travel, I could not see myself inflating and deflating a travel pillow. I love the feel of memory foam so decided on the Z pillow after reading the reviews.

Upon first wrapping the pillow around my neck I was extremely excited to take it on the plane. Once I sat down I immediately took it out and got situated in my seat. About 45 mins into the flight, I started to get a cramp in my neck so I repositioned myself assuming that it was user error. 20 mins later I was still uncomfortable. What I realized was that the pillow was so soft that the longer I used it, the flatter it seemed to get. Several days later, on my trip home, I experienced the same thing. The pillow is really really comfortable however, I don't think that it can be used for long periods of time. In my opinion, the memory foam could stand to be a TAD bit firmer, which should still provide comfort however, also stability. If there are difference comfort levels to this pillow, I would DEFINITELY repurchase for myself and others.

I am very picky with my bed pillows..and the stores seem to only stock pillows that are just too "fluffy" with no real support to them. After trying over and over to deal with poly filled type of pillows and solid foam ones (or a combo of each)...then I came across this one in my desperation search again for a pillow that works for me. I got this as a gift. I actually bought two none Tempurpedic Comfort pillows hoping to find the closest match without spending $140. This one was far and away the winner. Sleep Better Sure Support Contour Pillow

For two years I have been happily sleeping on an Sleep Better Iso-Cool Memory Foam Pillow, Contour which I still think is one of the best contoured memory-foam pillows out there (and I have tried a lot). But I recently had cervical spine surgery to fix a problem with two herniated discs AND we bought a new mattress. This, at least for now, slightly changed my pillow requirements. At the moment I am more comfortable with a slightly thicker and firmer pillow than I was using before.

When I saw that Carpenter had this new foam (Avena) which they promise is "balancing comfort with support" I decided to order it, and also because I had had good experiences with Carpenter pillows in the past.

The Avena Sure Support Contour Pillow is relatively light-weight for a memory foam pillow, so at first I was a bit apprehensive I generally find that the lighter-weight pillows do not have the same good quality as the heavier ones. It also was easily pinched and squeezed, deepening my skepticism. But all that disappeared when I put it on the bed and actually tried it out.

Here are my observations in detail:

The foam feels not like a traditional memory foam. It does not really mold to one's head too much and feels quite firm. That said, it still feels surprisingly comfortable and the advantage over traditional memory foam is that it does not let the head sink in much once the body temperature softens the material (my major problem with brands such as Tempurpedic). It also does not feel too hard in the beginning, another problem with other memory foams, especially in cold rooms in the winter. The pillow stays pretty much the same throughout the night every night, providing excellent support. The best way I can describe it is as if my head lies on an air-filled pillow without the need to adjust the air to find the perfect firmness. Contrary to air pillows, no fine-tuning is required :-).

Due to the firm support the higher contoured end felt a bit too high, even for me who usually likes to sleep higher (I am a side sleeper). The lower end of the pillow, however, felt very good and perfect.

The foam itself has little air holes all over, supposedly designed to keep the sleeper cooler and more comfortable (there is a video on the web that talks about the material do a search for Carpenter Avena and you should find it). I freely admit that I did not notice much of a difference compared to other such pillows and believe that this is probably very dependent on the individual using the pillow, their body temperature, climate, room temperature, etc.

The pillow had a slight odor to it when it came out of the plastic wrapping (it was shipped just with this wrapping in an Amazon box, no separate retail box around it), but that is typical for this kind of material and it dissipated within a day or two. Since it wasn't overwhelming to begin with, it did not bother me but people who are sensitive to this might have to air it out for a while before actually sleeping on it.

All in all I am happy with the Avena Sure Support pillow precisely because I prefer firmer pillows. People who like the cloud feeling of sinking into their pillows as if it were down would likely not be satisfied with it. But for me who has lived with herniated discs, headaches and muscle strains for years due to lack of adequate support, this is a very good solution for now.

UPDATE 6/17/2011:

We recently removed a memory foam pad from our mattress which made the surface firmer. I now feel as if the pillow is a bit too soft, leading to somewhat less support just enough for my neck and shoulders to notice a slightly uncomfortable difference. I still think this is a good pillow but it might not work all that well for side sleepers who prefer a relatively firm mattress. I had a very good experience with it as long as the mattress surface was softer.

I'd been trying to find this special pillow since purchasing it at JCPenney (before their makeover). Amazon had it! My neck thanks you--just the right support. I'd been "supporting" another brand for 20 years, after a cervical injury due to an auto accident.

These sheets are comfortable but have a few downsides. They are most definately not 1500 thread count. Normally a sheet set will have the thread count and other information printed on the tag. These tags show no information, just a brand logo. Don't believe you are getting a superior quality product just because of the description and the original price tag. I was disappointed on the amount of money I spent on a "knock off" product. These sheets attract and show all kinds of hair, dust, fluff, etc. Overall the sheets aren't bad, just very basic, and not really worth the money.

Cervical Pillow - Firm / Standard - Foam

My husband is used to a "standard" cervical pillow but this one is way to far on the firm side to be anywhere near the standard he is used to sleeping on. We'd like to try the soft one, but are hesitant because of the firmness of this one.

I truly need support for my neck, I have limited motion and chronic pain on my left side. If I don't get firm support

I will have shooting pains into my head, and become very disoriented.

The soft and gentle and medium firmness core foam, as an option is not good for me, but the firm is perfect, and the support is

amazing. It lasted I would say about 9 months, and now the foam broke down so I need a new one. I did try the extra firm side and

it's not right for me at all, and causes too much pain, so this pillow does give options, which is awesome.

I am fully pleased and will buy another one, for me choosing the firm core foam insert. But, the pillow comes with different core foams

that you can experiment with to see which fits.

I have also bought pillows for 70.00 and though they "looked" like they would do the job, didn't at all. This one is perfect, give

it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Only drawback is the foam breaks down too fast. For me I don't mind replacing it, but if you are on a budget you might want to do

more research
