The bottom sheet has an elastic band ALL THE WAY AROUND! If you have an 8 inch tall mattress this will tuck under all the way around not just the head, foot or corners. I am using on a hard side Cal King waterbed and am so happy because they stay on great.

Thin, tight weave, strong, satiny smooth, durable and they don't get runs or snags when hit with a sharp toenail. I have purchased other satin sheets here and on Ebay that were like a rough nylon stocking material so thin you could see right through them. These sheets are not like that, they are perfect and hold up great month after month. Slick and smooth, others said they are too slipperythats a good thing people!

I have xtra heavy satin sheets that cost $250 but do not have the elastic all the way around. They are quality and I like them but with the fantastic elastic I prefer this sheet!

Other Reviews 'not cotton' um, look up the definition of Satin. 'Stained bed' the color came off? I dunno. I have Red and Gold, the color does not rub off or leach out during washing.

Please mark this review as helpful because no one else was mentioning the bottom elastic when I was reading reviews or I would have purchased a few more. These work so well on our waterbed.

UPDATE: It has been over a year since my original review. These hold up wash after wash. They just went on sale for $24.99 so I am here to get more. I love the Red and Gold and have used them constantly for 18 monthsthey are still perfect with even the elastic holding up. I do always dry them on a low heat tumble. I am very satisfied and reccomend these sheets to anyone and especially waterbed users.

I mean, totally. It's hot down here in south Texas, and these have a nice cooling effect. They feel great, fit like they're supposed to; my hands are not the color of the sheets, nor is my mattress pad; and if I slip and slide, it's 'cause it's satin and I'm having a good time on it. Go with the flow, I say. Try looking for an answer, rather than looking for a problem.

Shall I cover the major issues? Let me just say to start, these sheets are great for the price.... and have you priced satin sheets at, say, Macy's lately? But as satin bedding has grown increasingly popular, Macy's has lowered prices, too.

Hey folks, if they don't fit, consider what size you're paying for and don't try to save a couple of bucks by trying to stretch a sheet that's too small. Twin sheets don't fit full mattresses very well. I have a full-size bed. But the mattress is thick (those cushion tops add up, you know), plus I have a fairly thick mattress pad. So, I buy queen size sheets. It's a lot easier on the back, besides the mattress.

Of course, it's polyester, and there's nothing "fake" about that. Most satin we see today is polyester. Silk threads made from silk worms are really not going to be found in this price range. Cotton just ain't gonna work. You see, satin is a type of weave, not a source for thread.

If you slide, there's a reason behind that. Though there are several weave methods for satin, most (and those we can expect to find) are made to be slippery, shiny, whathaveyou. Think of it perhaps as a "poor man's silk," silk also being known in typical forms for its smoothness, thus slipperiness. This is what provides the cool effect and that "nice" feel you enjoy, besides the interesting additions to your playtime. And, yes, your blanket may also slide: that's life in your new satin world of royalty. I wonder if Velcro would help ;)? Say, I wonder if this slippery quality might account for some of the corners "sliding" loose?

I haven't had it happen; but I suppose "runs" are possible, just as in nylon stockings. Try taking your jewelry and shoes off before climbing into bed. If your skin is causing the runs, see a dermatologist. Ever try satin or silk pajamas or nightshirt? They feel good, too, and shouldn't run your satin sheets.

Unless the company's color runs are different, I don't understand some of the color criticisms. I have gold (it's not yellow at all); red, which is bright, rich and vibrant all at once; and black, which is about the blackest black I've seen. At least these three colors are gorgeous to my Monet-loving mind.

The price for these varies all over the place, you can keep an eye on it. It even varies greatly among colors. If you bought them for ten bucks, in which decade was that? Actually, they've been pretty darn close to that here lately. And lemme tellya, that's an incredible bargain. Best department store (no Amazon then) price

Now, I'm sure there have been legitimate problems with these sheets, as there surely will be with anything on this earth. But frankly, some reviews I've read indicate that the purchasers had no idea what satin is. In those cases, read about satin in Wikipedia and feel your sheets thoroughly and chalk this up to education and experience. Remember this: "satin" is a weave designed to be this way, at least in sheets. These sheets are not woven cotton, they are not flannel, they are not wool, they probably are closest in texture to the typical silks we see of any material or weave technique (I say it this way because silk also may have a "soft" weave that is more like a soft wool).

In the case of a couple of reviews, I think somebody had gotten out of the bed on the wrong side.

For a couple of months I had a much higher priced set of sheets in my wish list, but when I went to order those, they were out of stock. These sheets were listed as one of my "personalized recommendations." When I saw the price, I was very skeptical, but then again, at that price, I thought what do I have to lose? I was a little nervous after reading some of the negative reviews, especially the ones about the sheets staining the mattress.

When I took the sheets out of the package, I inspected them, and expected to find problems, such a poor sewing, rough texture, etc. I was happy to see they are made well, and are very soft and silky. They fit my mattress perfectly, and I have one with a thick pillow-top, so I was a little worried. The sheets are not as slippery as some described. They still have not stained my mattress, either.

The sheets I owned prior to these cost about 10 times more than these, and honestly, I notice no difference. These sheets are great. They look good, they feel good, and you cannot beat the price.

The sheets have stained my mattress cover and other colored pillowcases. Very disapointing. They are "luxurious" though, for fake satin. There are even black handprints on my wall (happened while changing the sheets). Ridiculous. Even after washing them twice they still stain. But it's too late now.

These are the first satin sheets I've ever used, so I don't know how they compare to other brands. I liked them. They are comfortable to sleep in. The only problem I had was that they stained the mattress cover. Not a huge problem since no one will ever see it, but it was disappointing.

I purchased this pillow about 6 months ago and absolutely love it. Due to health problems, I spend 18-20 hours a day in bed and having a comfortable bed is not a luxury but a necessity for me.

I'm back to order a few more because I have to cushion my knees by putting a pillow between them and one night I decided to try my Simmons Memory Foam pillow. It was the perfect cushioning for them and the soft cover felt so good! But then I was left not having the pillow to sleep on. I am a "Pillow Junkie" as I have tried just about every type of pillow on the market. The Simmons Beautyrest Memory Foam is my absolute favorite pillow! It is perfect if you are a side or back sleeper. It is not too thick or too thin and comfortably conforms to the shape of your head. I slept on my stomach for much of my life, but in the last year, noticed an increased number of nights sleeping on my back. Along the way, I've lost sleep and gained more headaches. Someone suggested that I find a better pillow. When I saw this memory form pillow on Amazon, and on sale, I decided to try it out. When I received it, I was instantly happy with it. Having used it for a couple of weeks now, I've enjoyed better sleep, and probably as a result, less headaches.

The only negative aspect I've experienced with this pillow is when I sleep on my stomach. I find the back of my neck a little achy having slept on a pillow much higher than my old, nearly flat pillow. Overall, this is a good pillow, and I'd recommend it, especially if you sleep mostly on your back, and not on your stomach.

Searching Amazon.com for a pillow, I came upon the Simmons Beautyrest Memory Foam pillow. It was just what I was looking for. When it arrived it was a bit larger than expected, however I gave it to my significant other as a gift. He used it the first night (wanted one for between his knees) and liked it very much. He also thought it a bit larger than he wanted but when I suggested cutting it in half he said he liked it the way it is. These pillows were a lot brighter in person. Super bright almost neon in color. The fabric is like a really tightly woven nylon sort of like a nylon/polyester shower curtain type material with the design printed on it. There are no zippers so if it gets dirty I suppose you have to take your chances on putting the whole pillow in the laundry -unless you are inclined to add your own zipper. But I guess the fabric isn't sturdy enough for that otherwise the people at DENY would have done it for you. Stuffing is soft and not very dense. Not sure how long these would hold up so I returned them.

I can only report on these pillows based on first testing -our trip is not for two more months. But having traveled a lot and tried these pillow at home, I'm happy to recommend THIS particular set for two reasons: 1) it's comfortable and 2) the low cost.

I read a number of reviews of various travel pillows (especially the inflatible ones) and was put off primarily because of the short life they seem to have for the rather high cost. This pillow set is 2 for $9.95 -it's too bad Amazon no longer has them in stock at the time of this review. For $5 each, I was happy to try it. Having received it, I found them to be as comfortable as any lined plastic product could be expected. There is a thin "plush" surface (not just cold plastic) and a "cuff" around the neck that protects from the plastic seams. My wife also tried them and found them comfortable. As with any other inflatable pillow, don't over-inflate. You want your head to nestle and be supported side-to-side. The size was fine for my 16 1/2" neck and I could also wrap both hands inside next to my neck so it will handle larger sizes. My wife's neck is much smaller, but she has not trouble.

As I say, I can't speak to longevity or use for hours in a plane. If Amazon has restocked in late April, I'll add further comments.

I ordered one of these pillows for a long overseas trip and was happy with it at first. It is very compact and relatively comfortable. Unfortunately, I only got to use it part of my trip. On the way back I tried inflating the pillow but after a few minutes it would deflate. Not sure what happened but was sorely disappointed that it only lasted 1/2 a trip. I'm going to look for something a bit more sturdy for my next trip.

Not satisfied. I bought the first one of these pillows a few months ago. I was not able to use it for very long because it developed a leak shortly after I received it. I bought a second one, which developed a different problem: the strip connecting the plug to the pillow broke, so when I inflate the pillow the air escapes before I have a chance to secure the plug. Very unhappy with the two purchases.

Headache Ice Pillow

This is not a cold gel pillow with a cloth cover. It's a pillow, cover and a dinky ice pack to insert. And when you send it back the shipping cost almost as much as the product. A waste of time and money.

I get a lot of neck and head pain from staring at a computer screen all day so I've been taking this to work with me. I leave the pillow in the car but put the ice pack in the freezer and use it at lunch and when I leave at 5:00 I use the ice pack and pillow in the car while I drive. It's nice to arrive home without a headache. The gel pack is much better than ice since it's smooth and not lumpy. Surpisingly it works much better than a heating pad, too.

This pillow is too thick to put under your neck. It does have a little pocket that you can pull some of the extra filling into to make it smaller but with it being so full of fiberfill, it is too small to fit a regular persons neck but works OK if you pull some of the stuffing out of the little pocket that is probably there for that reason. It does help if you need to relax your neck and ice it at the same time so I would recommend it just not too highly because it is stuffed so full and hard to fit the neck.

I am a procrastinator.

I am now and always have been. You will benefit slightly since I have been sleeping on this topper for almost nine months and I, naturally, procrastinated in writing this review.

So it should come as no surprise that I waited much too long to change my old-as-dirt, lumpy, taco-shaped torture chamber masquerading as a mattress. I knew that I did not want to purchase a mattress that included springs in any form so my choices were rather limited. After many, many hours of research and reading any and every review I could find, I finally decided on a generic memory foam mattress from the big box store that was available on their website. In an effort to provide full disclosure I will say the memory foam was my second choice behind a 100% organic latex mattress but spending thousands on a mattress is something I wasn't willing to do at the time so I had to settle for second best. It was easier doing so knowing I was also purchasing this topper at the same time.

I was surprised when the box arrived since it was smaller than a keg of beer. I pulled out the topper which was enclosed in what looked like a black trash bag. I realized it was vacuum-sealed and carefully removed the black bag layer under which was another plastic covering. So I again begin to carefully remove this wrapping and if I had not had the same experience with the memory foam mattress a few days earlier would have scared myself with how quickly this thing expands and tries to come out of the wrapping once the seal is broken and air is returned to the topper.

I plopped it on the mattress as fast as I could and let it return to form. The first thing I noticed was the smell which is familiar since I own a latex pillow but there was also another smell which was rather chemical-like and I assumed it was from either the plastic packaging or the vacuum process itself. However, it wasn't overwhelming and dissipated fully in a couple of days. I then took stock of the topper itself and was rather displeased as to its aesthetics. There were two, albeit smallish, black smudges of some sort on the topper (which remain to this day). Secondly, and most unappealing, was the entire left side of the topper looked like it had been cut out of a king size to fit on a queen bed. The topper is comprised of what I refer to as "zones". The outer perimeter contains uniform holes from the manufacturing process. Inside of this perimeter is another "zone" without any uniform holes, just the natural ones made by the air bubbles released during the molding process. The inner zone is again full of the uniform holes which from what I understand help to keep the air circulating while sleeping. The "zoned" nature of the mattress made the hack job glaringly obvious and for the price I paid I certainly expected different. I suppose it wouldn't have been such a big deal if they would of at least cut it straight but there is an inch overhang on the bottom where the cut got misaligned.

Having said all this, I'm sure you're wondering how in the world I determined this product deserved 5 stars after the problems I incurred. Simply, this topper has changed my life. From the very first night till present, I get rejuvenating rest each and every time I lay down to sleep. I sincerely had no idea just how poorly I was sleeping until I woke up after my first nights sleep on this topper and had not a single body ache or pain and I was wide awake and lacking any brain fog like I normally experience when I first lumber out of bed. I was so excited but being the consummate cynic I chalked it up to my old mattress being so bad that anything newer would certainly feel heavenly. But night after night and morning after morning I continue to experience the same wondrous feeling. I utterly dislike having to sleep anywhere other than my own bed because I am inevitably going to wake up cranky, tired, and sore no matter the newness or type of mattress I sleep on.

Natural latex has this incredibly unique property of being soft to the point of feeling almost buoyant and weightless while also being supportive and cradling the contours of the body. And if you want to be truly amazed, just search the web for latex mattresses that are still around from the 50's, 60's, and 70"s! Latex's durability is unparalleled which is why I felt justified in spending so much on this topper. It feels nothing like even the most expensive, top of the line memory foam mattress I previously thought I wanted. Memory foam uses body heat to soften and conform to your curves and in doing so retains that heat as synthetic materials aren't normally breathable. It also takes a bit for memory foam to return to its shape so you often find yourself slipping into the same spot you just tried to roll out of. This latex topper is natural and breathable which allows for proper air circulation and for someone who flips the pillow over just to get to the cold side this was a very important priority in my comfort. Also, the latex springs up instantaneously when pressure is removed so there is no falling into the same body hole over and over.

My topper was received with an International Latex sticker on it meaning the Talalay manufacturing process was used. This information should be clearly defined in the description as Talalay and Dunlop processes are distinctly different and therefore create a different end product that the buyer should be made aware of. I would have been less hesitant to buy if I would have known this was an International Latex product.

The last thing I would like to point out is that natural latex is hypoallergenic, anti-microbial and mildew, mold and dust mite resistant. There is no off-gassing like with synthetic latex and memory foam and no petrochemicals so it's green and eco-friendly. Also, utilizing a rubber tree's sap doesn't harm the tree which makes it a sustainable resource.

If you've read this far I applaud your efforts and will spare you further grief as I could actually go on and on about the information I have learned and how crazy I am for natural latex sleep products. I cannot recommend a natural latex topper or mattress enough.

I am no stranger to latex I have a latex / foam mattress on our guest bed and futon and latex toppers over firm eco foam for my bed and our King guest bed. Of all of the latex products we have used in our home I must say that this topper is the best, as well as a great value! The topper is everything other "5 star" reviewers said it is: superior organic talalay latex; the medium firm is not squishy nor overly firm but it is "jiggly" and that is a good thing; and there was absolutely no smell! I was able to lay this out on my mattress and make the bed right away and Wow is it comfortable! And the best part it arrived in less than a week. It should be noted that there are irregularities and that if you are not careful, latex will tear. However, this is very normal for uncovered latex and if you want a cover, you can always purchase one a lot less expensively than purchasing covered latex. My topper came with very slight irregularities, but these were very insignificant, and far fewer than I have experienced with the other toppers I have purchased from other vendors over the years. All in all this topper is a phenomenal product!

Our six year old pillow top mattress prematurely sagged in the middle, so we flipped it over (to the hard side) and bought this natural latex topper since it's sustainable and received strong reviews. I was waking up with a back ache every morning, and from the first night with this new topper, woke up back-ache free and haven't had one again since (it's about a month now). it is retaining it's shape and provides the right amount of cushion for my wife and me. After three months of absolute agony sleeping on a Tempur-pedic Cloud mattress, which I couldn't return because it was a floor model, I was about to give it to my daughter. But after talking with our local FloBed dealer, who makes custom beds using natural latex, I decided to try a latex topper on the Tempur-pedic. A great deal of research and high prices later, I decided on the affordable, 2" Natural Latex Non Blended Mattress Topper from Organic Textiles. WOW! What a difference! I sleep soundly and get up refreshed every morning, rather than feeling as though a truck had run over me throughout the night then parked itself on my back and shoulders in the morning! The topper arrived in a timely manner and was vacuum-packed in a black plastic bag. When I took it out, the topper immediately took on the correct shape, no bumps, ripples or bent corners. There was a slight smell, so I aired it out for a day before putting a mattress pad on top of it, and haven't noticed any odor since. I'm adding a wool mattress pad so if anything spills, neither the latex topper or the mattress will get wet.

The topper is not quite as firm as I'd hoped it would be, but it does make the mattress a great deal firmer. My only beef is that one side of the pad has a number of tears between the holes, and one edge is slightly ripped at the end. According to the manufacturer, tears are a normal part of the manufacturing process, although I feel there may be a few too many, which is why I've given only 4 stars rather than 5. Over all, I am extremely satisfied with the seller and the product.

I ordered the queen sized latex topper and it arrived about 1 week ago. I let it sit out in my bedroom for about a week because of all the reviews about the smell of latex. This set is ship in 2 boxes with headboard in one box and the 3 frames and slats in another. I agree with the other review that the shipper is not that great. They wouldn't even wait for me to check the content of the package and basically said they couldn't careless if the package was damage by them or if it even the right item that I ordered.

Anyway, this is not a review about the shipper, so here is my take on this Baxton Studio bed frame and headboard.

It was very easy for me to setup my set, because I set my up without using the middle bar and slats. Basically I set up a square box and put my old box spring inside it. I have an eastern king serta icomfort insight and it fit perfectly. The whole set is very low to the ground, which can be good for some and not others. I like it, because my Yorkie can jump up and down by itself. The material feels smooth and nice to touch. The headboard is not as soft as I would have like it to be. One bad thing about this set is that the 4 silver leg stand on each of the corner is bolted by one screw only. It feels pretty lose, but the weight will come down on it, I guess.

It looks and feels very good.

My experience purchasing this product was a nightmare! Since this is a large item, it had to be delivered via a carrier who gave me a 4 hour time frame. At the end of the 4 hours, I called to check the status and they did not arrive until one hour later (What's the point of giving you a delivery window when you can't even meet it?) When the product arrived, I noticed that the packaging for this product was horrible! There were no cushions or protective coverings for the bed; the box was ripped open on one of the sides and had puncture marks all over. Although I did not even open the box, the back of the headboard had holes from the punctures and there were scratches on the side where the box was ripped open. Since this is a white bed, the black marks and scratches were unacceptable. To make matters worse, only the headboard was delivered; carton 2 of 2 (which should have contained the bed) was not shipped. Amazon gave me a choice of replacing the item or a refund. I was weary of going through the same experience given that the product was poorly packaged and arrived in such a damaged condition. Amazon has been great about giving me a prompt refund but the scheduling of the product pickup through the carrier has been just as horrible as the delivery. I called Amazon and the carrier twice to schedule pickup. After finally scheduling pickup almost 2 weeks after the refund, I was again given a 4 hour pickup window and of course the carrier did not arrive until 3.5 hours after the given time frame ended. Needless to say, I would not recommend purchasing this product whatsoever.

Boveda Humidipak Large 75% 4 Pack

These packs and simple to use and maintain the humidity levels within a few percent. I've used these packs for a little over a year and I love them. They are easy to use and typically lasts a month or so for me. I use the with gel jar because I dont find the gel jar alone to maintain humidity levels all that consistent. These pack seems to do the job though.

This is my favorite method for humidification. These came in a slightly different style (color) than the traditional white and blue, but they work all the same!

Sheepskin One Sided Pillow 14 Inch - Ivory

The sheepskin on these is a different texture from my Bowron sheepskin rug. The rug has a more brushed look and feel to it, whereas the wool on these pillow seems more matted. It makes me wonder whether it's really the Bowron brand. On the other hand, they are a natural product, after all. The color does match.

The backing on these pillows is not as pictured it's some sort of plain woven fabric, but it says "World of Sheepskin" all over it. Would really have preferred the plain backing. There is a zipper on the back so the pillow can be removed from the cover.

They weren't exactly as expected, but they're not bad, and they were a bargain.

I thought it would be real thick but it is really thin it looks pretty but feels cheap it is good for the sale price but I would not pay over 100 bucks!!!!

The color shown in photo is not true to color of item. The base of comforter shows it to be a cream light colored. Item was actuall more of a carmel/tan in color. Still very pretty color combination; it just didn't match what I needed for the bedroom that I was going to use it in.

This comforter set was very light weight. Does not appear it will stand up to washing. I was very disappointed.

Luxury 11 piece California king Reversible Hampton Duvet Cover Set By sheetsnthings

I ordered this Cal-King bedset after an exhaustive search on every on-line bed linen company I could find. I wanted something very inexpensive, but of good quality. I was skeptical that a 15 piece set could be so affordable and still be super comfortable.

This bedset is amazingly soft, luxurious and of excellent quality. The additional pillows, shams give many options to creating different looks. It would help if there were interior ties on the duvet cover, but after 3 weeks of use there is no slippage, which is nice.

I purchased these sham stuffers because I wanted a more full look to my king shams than I got from regular pillows. Inserts like this are are used for this reason and typically are very plump and firm. These were anemic and were less plump than my regular pillows. The shams looked pitiful and deflated with these "stuffers" in them. I should have read the reviews before buying because this has been reported by others in their reviews. Restoration Hardware has very nice sham inserts though they are much more expensive. I guess you get what you pay for.

These pillows have a very cheap filling but besides that, the pillows have a grey stripe on them which you can easily see thru once the cover is on. It looked awful so I had to return. Only order these if the cover you're using is thick and not a sheer at all

when i received this product it stank of chemicals, had brown gunk on one of the pillow cases, and there mere MANY snags all over the fabric. I am very unhappy with these. I should have just spent the extra money to get good quality pillowcases.
