I bought this a few months ago and am still using it. The pillow does help keep you sleeping on your side. If sleeping on your side eliminates your snoring, this pillow will help you. If you snore like a mack truck pulling a load of gravel up a hill, this probably will not help you too much. I tried this in conjunction with one of the anti-snore mouthpieces on Amazon and was told that it cut the noise to a dull roar but did not stop the snoring to the point where other people could still sleep in the same room. I think it does help me breathe a bit better at nite and am still using it. The only downside is an occasional sore neck if you sleep on it the wrong way. If you are a "light snorer" and have room in the bed for it, I would definitely suggest you try it. If you can overpower a chainsaw with your snore, you should probably head straight to a CPAP machine.
Given the choice between learning to sleep on my side or wearing a cpap machine for the rest of my sleeping life, I came out and found this turtle-like pillow to help me learn how to safely sleep at night, and bought one. That was two weeks ago. When it arrived, I tried different names for it, "the turtle" "the dove," and finally came up with "the Bump." And so the Bump and I had to become friends.
At first, even knowing I had no choice, I "fought" sleeping with the Bump. I mentally pictured it safely holding me in place, but I still kept trying to turn over in my sleep, and waking up when I couldn't. I must have awakened 20 times or more that first night. The second night was a bit better. And, over the course of two weeks, I finally had my first full night's sleep, waking up once or twice and turning over to my other side, then falling quickly back to sleep.
BUT, even before that first full night, I could tell a difference. I began waking up more alert and aware. I no longer have to take a nap during the day to survive (waking up from the nap even more sleepy and tired). Since the sleep study was able to identify my problem, I know that I am breathing better, sleeping deeper, especially since I am waking up more rested. Even my morning blood sugar has significantly improved.
For those buying this to reduce snoring ... it does that too, by forcing you to lay in the correct position where your throat remains open.
But the primary FDA approval is for Sleep Apnea particularly the kind that I have, positional sleep apnea.
It is designed to train you to sleep on your side, and to help you be comfortable in the correct sleeping position. It takes time to learn to sleep in this position. In my case, it was two weeks to become comfortable all night long, but for some people, it can take up to a full month. So do not purchase this pillow unless you are willing to make that kind of commitment.

This pillow is aaaaamazing. My husband was snoring so much that I had to use ear plugs; those didn't always work. I was ready to sleep in another room just to get a good night sleep. My husband ordered this. It took ahwile to get the pillow. (He was actually ready to go to a retail store to purchase a pillow.) We decided to wait for this one; I am so glad we did. I don't know how it works so well, but it does. I can sleep through the night and not wake up from his snoring. He says that it is comfortable and has no problem sleeping on this pillow. This pillow has stopped my snoring, according to my wife. I do seem to be getting better sleep. Had if for 2 weeks now, still adjusting to it.Pros:

You have to sleep with your arm out, under the pillow. It does not work without that. We used to have the bedroom fairly cold at night, under thick blankets. Had to turn the heater in the bedroom up a bit, your arm sticking out will get too cold in the winter.
You have to stick with it, and keep putting yourself in the correct position. It takes a while adjust, I am still getting used to it but I think soon it will be habit.

Seems to me that there are lots of variations when it comes to the amount of stuffing that is in these pillows. The one I received is PERFECT for my neck problem. This pillow does have a zipper so stuffing can be removed or added if need be. How long the zipper will last is questionable, it's not a very sturdy one. But that shouldn't be a problem once the pillow's firmness is optimized.What I like about this shape is that it doesn't wrap around my ears when I use it on the couch. It drives me crazy when a pillow does that and nearly suffocates me. Definitely recommended.
I would get this b/c of the zipper. It's hidden and at first I had to look for it! :) I appreciate being able to remove/add fluff. I do not use it in bed but when I'm on my sofa. I study alot and tend to doze off and this is great!
I know there are different ounces and I think the basic red is the one that is zipperless. I highly recommend the ones w/zippers. It wasn't the answer to my prayers BUT I'm happy w/ my purchase! I do not know for sure, but I think this would be could in a car. (for sleeping, a "husk" neck roll works better for me.)

I have Thoracic Outlet Syndrome which wreaks havoc with my neck. It's basically impossible for me to get comfortable. This pillow helps me get much closer than any other neck pillow I've tried.Most pillows are quite firm and not adjustable. This one is nice and plushy-soft, and is unzippable so you can customize the stuffing however you want. I've taken out most of the stuffing from mine. My neck is really sensitive.

I feel the quality could be better, its a very thin piece of material to me. however, i brought it for my daughter which by the way states she loves it. so i guess that's all would matter. So based on her, she really likes it and keep her warm.
2. It is not a 8 piece but a 7 piece
3. If you have an large queen size bed, it will not fit appropriately, as it still looks small even if you tuck in all of your blankets on both sides of the bed.
4. You do not receive 4 pillows, you only receive 3.
5. Not according to advertisement.
6. It is thin therefore, it is on top of my black corduroy Duvet cover and my Feather Duvet to make it look like it fits and make it look extra fluffy and nice and of top quality.
7. Later on down the line, I will purchase something that will be what I wanted and what I ordered which was a silk comforter, with 4 pillows (not 3), without the need of trying to "make it look" like it is something that it is not.
8. The pillow shams are very, very thin and will rip or tear if you are not careful with them. It has not happened to me, but as I was placing my feather pillows (which are very, very full and fluffy), into the shams, my first thoughts were "this will tear easily, if I am not careful", so beware!
I guess you could use this for the guest room, on top of a bed that is never used, when you want the bed for just decoration. But if you want a quality product, this is not the product, and this is the only thing that I am quite disappointed about, that I have purchased from Amazon.
2 1/2 stars out of 5, and that is being nice, because I do not want to be that disappointed with myself at my own purchase. You live and learn. Bed products should remain top quality, and you must purchase them from top quality and reputable companies that you can trust.

I have bought 3 of these Marrikas covers. The first had a button closure. When I bought the second I found it had graduated to a zip closure, which was much preferred. So I got a third with a zip and will pass the button one to a friend. The cover is very well made and does a great job at keeping the featherbed in good shape. Of course, it is always a bit of a struggle to get the cover over the mattress. It has no zipper but instead two lengthwise seams, a fabric flap, and is ill-fitting. One of the long seams usually ends up under the body, and is uncomfortable. I threw it away.I miss the original Guardian Jackson Cervipillo [registered trademark], which is no longer made by Sunrise Medical; it had a zippered cotton/poly pillowcase with a great fit and comfortable fabric that laundered beautifully.
